straightened this out like 6 years ago ,I do not have business with this collection agency *** removed the charges when the error occured
Attempting to collect on *** PRIVATE student loans by sending them to an attorney won’t cut it. I told your attorney of choice that I am 100% totally and permanently disabled. I am on SSDI and can back it up. My husband is 100% RETIRED on Social Security. I can back that up. We are 62 and 68 years old.
We cannot afford to pay these loans on fixed income and you cannot get our fixed incomes garnished or assets siezed. We live in public housing and our meager belongings arre under the value in *** for siezure.
I contacted the company to settle a debt and the business agreed to identify my account and credit report as "Settled in Full". I have 2 letters and a copy of my credit report supporting my argument. This company does not honor their agreements and has selfishly accepted my payment without accurately reporting the transaction. I filed a dispute with *** a few times- a process that takes an exhausting 30 days each time. US ASSET MANAGEMENT INC (Also identified has replied that the information is accurate even though their remark on my credit report contradicts the Account Resolution they wrote to me (original hardcopies I have and are readily available via pdf).

We have reviewed the information provided and our findings are set forth below. Our client, US Asset Management Inc., placed the above-referenced account with our office for collections on 5/09/17. EOS CCA offered Ms. a settlement in the amount of $641.00 for which we received payment on 12/14/2018 . As of of 12/21/2018, the account was closed with our office as “Settled in Full” and a request was sent to update the credit bureaus accordingly. Due to the insistent of ***, a request to delete the accounts information was submitted to the credit bureaus on 6/21/2019. I have received several letters as the current creditor for an amount of money I owe to ***. The letter actually comes from *** but the creditor says US Asset Management Inc. I currently have *** services and when I contacted them about this amount owed they indicate that there is nothing showing on my account. I have moved to another home where I had to transfer the services and would have had to be sure that bill was paid in full before they would transfer to the new home. This is ridiculous how do I get this to stop????
I have given check numbers and dates the checks were cashed and yet they still say they have not received payment. I have asked to speak with a manager twice and one is never available nor do they call back. They do nothing to help resolve issues nor research where the money has gone from the 2 cashed checks.
