US Concealed Carry Association Reviews (12)

First of all, when rating someone or their business, you should know that the more stars you give them the better the rating. Which begs the question, what are these ratings inferring? If you have a one star rating, your company and customer service must be terrible. At least that is the type of treatment I received when trying to get the refund I was promised. I was charged $75.00 for a concealed weapons permit only to find out that the certificate says right at the bottom in large print that "This is NOT a concealed weapons permit". What a scam! I will probably never see that refund they promise if I'm not satisfied! Very unsatisfied! IF I could give less than 0 stars, I would. Sincerely, Tony B.

As a retired military officer and airline pilot, I wanted to find an organization that looked out for me and my family. USCCA has our back!
I have been completely satisfied at the level of attention and product offerings by USCCA. Looking over the many, confusing, options out there for insurance I found this company provides a superior product backed by outstanding customer service support. I have gone back and purchased the lifetime Platinum service for myself and my wife. The products; insurance, books, videos, are great for anyone building up a knowledge library.

Not enough info for me to want to join. Their web page sure has a lot of hipe that made me look to Revdex.com comments. I am sure there are more neg thanthree in 1 yrs worth.

I just recently signed up for USCCA insurance protection without having first done a search of the company's reputation, etc . Which is unusual for me to do. I'm concerned that there are not more reviews published here, especially from people who have had to use the insurance package due to an incident. I think the negative reviews reported here are somewhat irresponsible and not of much value for my review purposes. The company has impressed me so far. I will continue to check them out.

I'm into my second year with this company and I forgot to have the funds in the bank for them the last couple months of my first year. They never harassed or over charged me and let me get caught up when I renewed. They do have a business to run folks, give them a break! It would be nice to hear from some people who have had to use the insurance they have to offer, however, I hope and pray I'll never need it.

Excellent family run business and great customer service. I have and will always, recommend USCCA to my family and friends. Great training too.

This is all hype. They offer a gun a day give away but they have two places to sign in for members and non members. I will sign in for non member in the morning to win and later that night they send me another email saying that I am missing my chance to win and need to sign up. This has happened three times since my first Revdex.com comment about how a new member that signed up that day, won the gun that night. My first request to Revdex.com for others to share thier experince is not posted. I cant find it. I think its a scam. The computer should know I filled out the drawing form for the gun that day.

I purchased the Self Defense Shield Platinum Protection insurance policy from this company and fortunately have not needed to use it, however, I am very satisfied with the magazines and other odds and ends that may come with the perks of holding a policy with their company. Also, I do like the peace of mind knowing that as a law abiding citizen I have protection in place were I to be involved in a self-defense shooting. After reading through some of the reviews on this site which all lacked any legitimate substance, just petty complaints, I felt like I should write my own that shows that even though their emails are obnoxious (which there are options to maintain your subscription and what they email you) they are not a bad company to do business with. As an adult with the standard various insurance policies I understand that insurance policies automatically renew unless requested otherwise, as well as the need to actually speak to someone to cancel instead of just emailing and hoping for the best, so I understand that I, again, as an adult, am responsible for paying attention to what I agree to (it's not hidden or sneaky) and also maintaining my policies with any insurance provider. I hope these guys the best for offering this peace of mind in the current state of our society. I will continue to carry their coverage as long as I am able to as well as refer anyone that will listen to their products and services. A small side-note, I would like to see some reviews from individuals who have not been as lucky and needed to utilize the protection side of the offered policies to get a better understanding of how that experience is.

I signed up with the USCCA shield program one year ago using a credit card. I recently discovered they had placed a charge on my card, apparently for a renewal, though I had not authorized such a thing nor had they sent me any notification they were going to do this. Apparently if you pay with a credit card they just assume the right to charge things on there in the future for you. I sent them an email asking them to contact me and reverse the unauthorized charge. Hearing nothing back I sent them a second email stating I was contesting the charge with my card company. Voila! They responded that same day saying I needed to call them “for security purposes” and they would take care of the matter. Seeing that I had already given them my account number, home address, credit card company, the exact amount they charged me, and sent the email from the email listed on my account, I didn’t see the need to call and will let the credit card company deal with the reversal of the unauthorized charges, as I have no intent of dealing with them again on the phone or otherwise.
I loved the magazine and other info from the site. But if their response to my simply asking them not to charge my account without my knowledge is any indication; I can’t imagine what frustration one might endure should they actually need the insurance and help in a critical situation.
This is a great idea, but with [redacted] poor execution in my experience. [redacted]

This company continuously every single day states there is a drawing/raffle for their customers that's usually for a check & over 1000.00. This month it's a check for a gun every day and 3 safes that are worth 8,000.00 each. As a member for a couple of years. It's time to question whether this is actually legit as when you become a member and purchase their insurance this is one of the daily perks offered. I question the insurance as it seems a bit sketchy and doesn't read like it should with the inclusions stated in the pitch. But I would at least like to know that the daily giveaways were for real or just fraud to draw you in. There has never been any proof that I have saw that shows the giveaways are legit. If you ask for proof you receive nothing. Maybe a picture of each of the persons that win holding their prize 7 days each week would suffice. But since Tim [redacted] and the Staff are not able to present any proof as to the legitimacy of these giveaways either legit or fraudulent being that calculating a years worth of data would have cost around $356,583.00 each year. I would like to see some proof. This is the main reason I became a member as the daily email gets your attention. Now there is a page buried deeply within the site that after a few clicks that will allow one as a nonmember to sign up daily for the drawing/ giveaways/ Sweepstakes. I believe this is fairly new and probably a legal thing as I did not see this before when I first became a member. This being a company I have requested tax records as proof of the giveaways.

ALL of the "positive" reviews are in a two week span from TWO years ago & some appear to be from the same people over & over again.!! Surely ANY business that was growing would have more than TWO negative complaints in addition to more recent positive reviews. I like the magazine but am skeptical of the so called insurance since it leaves out a lot of needed info.
