US Direct Student Loan Services

I signed up for loan consolidation around 2016 and had to pay $39 a month for my loan and also my parents loan, my student loan is now in default.
This company had been charging me $78 a month for 4 years, because they were helping me with my moms loan that she took out for me to go to college as well, they were claiming this payment was for consolidating my loans. This company is a scam that mentions that you need to renew every year and they never contacted me or sent me a renewal of any kind, I just kept getting emails from different people who by the time I would call they just "left the company" all of a sudden, next thing I know my student loan is now in default, they took advantage of me by pretending to help me. They asked for a service fee of $232.50 for both me and my mom's loans, which I had to give in payments for two months and also included the $78 fee for those months, that I have been paying ever since. I finally called Federal student loans and they said they do not charge a fee to consolidate loans, called US direct student loan to try to cancel and they lied and said it would be fine, this is a scam! $3744, went to nothing! They should be ashamed for trying to take advantage of students in debt and take all that money!

In October of 2015 this company contacted me to consolidate my student loans. They asked for a service fee of $232.50 made in 4 payments and a monthly fee of $39, that I have been paying ever since. These payments are solely for their services to consolidate my loans. They claim to be a third party service not tied to the government like other student loan companies. I called Federal student loans and they said they do not charge a fee to consolidate loans.
US direct student loan servicing is a scam! Where has all this money gone that I have paid? It does not go towards my student loan repayments. I have paid $2280 thus far for nothing!! I want my money back

I was told that my student loan would be take in off my credit and that the original loan service would be notified that I was paying with U.S direct.
2 in a half years ago I received a call from U.S direct saying they could give me a low monthly payment of $59 for 240 payments, That the whole loan amount would be take in off my credit and I would just deal with them. Now after all this time I am still receiving calls and monthly bill from my original loan service which is called Fedloans and my bill remand on my credit with has really messed it up. In the past I would call U.S direct and they would tell my not to worry about Fedloans and then who ever I was talking to would say I call you back but never would. The sales rep that originally handled my account quit I was told. The amount I owe is roughly around 53,000 and the amount they said I would have to pay them was 14,160 and the rest would be forgiven. My payment method is through my*** bank account and when I had chase do a small investigation they couldnt do much about my problem just told me what bank my money was being transferred to.

US Direct Student Loans Scammed me out of my money and have allowed my loans to go into default.
March 1, 2016 I signed up with this company under the belief that they would consolidate my loans for one monthly payment of $39.00. Ron Z was the guy who signed me up and assured me that this was a legit business and that they had rewards, one being recognized by the Association For Student Loan Relief (AFSLR), never mentioning the business has an F with Revdex.com Ron also told me that my loans would be taken care of in ten years as long as I paid every month. I recently tried to sign up and go back to school and found out through the business office that my loans were in default and that none of my 22 Payments of 39.00$ had gone toward my loans and the only way out of this is to go to Loan Rehab. I immediately called the company and ask for a manager where I was introduced to Martesha. Martesha tells me that because of an email that I never received am why my loans went into default. I never received a courtesy email warning me of this nor did I receive a phone call. The only way I knew I went into default is because I tried to further my education. I started making payments Aug 5th, 2016 and my last one was May 5th, 2018. I was never late and I also never missed a payment which in total comes to 858.00. I paid this to their account (US Student Loan ***) I have bank statements to prove each payment and records to show communication. Martesha was very unprofessional and was no help to me and also told me that she could not give me her boss number because he works out of the country, I told her I could dial out of the country and she told me no! I could not have his number. She had one goal in mind and that was to make more money off of me. I think this business is a scam and in return I just want my money back and my loans to come out of default. I do not fill as though I did anything for my loans to be in default and this is keeping me from furthering my education.

I paid $500 for this *** service and $40 a month since 2015. Now I can't get a hold of them.
This "business" is a total joke. I paid $500 for this service to even start the process in 2015 and $40 a month since then. It is total bs!!! I have no idea where my money has been going the whole time and I am not one to be happy to be taken advantage of. I have never been able tot talk to the same person twice as I was told that the person I talked to last time was no longer with the "company". I am not made of money and this is complete crap. Talked to the FedStudent Loan company and asked them about it and I was told in a very nice way, that I was taken advantage of by this "company" and I needed to stop my MONTHLY $40 payment TODAY!!! I have called several times and the phone just rings and rings and rings, I can't ever talk to a person to get this resolved and my money return to ME.

TERRIBLE! It takes days to even speak to a person and since you can just go to https://myfedloan.org/borrowers/repayment-plans yourself and do it for free then you do not need them. NOT worth it. Every time I emailed someone I ended up getting a different person because the previous person was let go from the company. Also, I was sent form to fill out that was a a PDF and it had the previous person's PERSONAL information on it (first/last name and SOCIAL)! I made the girl who was helping me aware of this.

I would not recommend this to ANYONE.
