US Directory Assistance Online

Company continues to harass us over a bill they say we owe. They have no prove we ordered their service. Their claim is that we owe them money for an Online Listing they provided for us. They say [redacted] authorized the service for a trial period of 2 months and if it was not cancelled it would continue for another 12 months, payment due at the end of the 12 months. The first contact I had with them was when they were asking if we wanted to continue for another year. I told them no and that I would have to check with [redacted] before paying any bill. [redacted] said he did not authorize any trial service. I asked them to send me some prove of the agreement and they said they don't record the agreements and there was nothing in writing. I'm the office manager and I screen all business calls. I never authorized their service because I never took a call from them. They say they spoke to him personally, but they would not have been able to do that since all the calls come into the front office phone.I told them we would not be paying the bill and to stop calling/faxing us regarding this matter. The calls and faxes have been coming since April of this year. They are costing us in time, copy paper,ink and fax charges(since we pay a service contract per page on our copy/fax machine). I would hope that there is someway we can stop their harassment of us. They are taking unauthorized charges from my bank account via my debit cardThey contacted me to include my business in an online directory, said the charge would be $5/mo, never more. I gave them my debit card number, I was billed the $5 initially but then a month later, three days after taking the $5, they deducted $90. I have never seen my inclusion in any directory. The ph numbers she gave me, one to customer service, is to a ticket agency, the other which was to be her direct # was to an auto dealership.Desired SettlementI want reimbursed for all charges including the $5/mo since I have no proof or documentation that my business was every included in any directory.

We received a bill for services we did not commit to. I agreed to a trial period with assurance we would be contacted when the trial was up. This complaint is for our business: [redacted]. In a phone call from the company, I reluctantly agreed to a trial period for their service which I didn't really understand. I had many assurances that at the end of the trial we would be contacted to see if we wanted to continue. We didn't receive anything until we got a bill in February, 2013. We didn't want the service and would not have used it, especially at the price they charged. They claim our manager okayed the bill. She doesn't have the authority to subscribe to services. They told her they wanted info to close the account. Desired SettlementI want them to stop calling and sending bills. I feel we were tricked. We did not want their service. We are a small family business and would not spend that amount on advertising. We feel their way of doing business is not honest. We keep receiveing bills for $599.00 from this company. We have never ordered anything from them or contacted their company about using their serviceWe keep receiving invoices from this company trying to get us to pay $599 for some kind of online directory. Have no clue who they are and have never ordered anything from them. Feel this is some kind of scam.Desired Settlementstop sending statements and calling us.

Contacted by US Directory asking if I wanted to cancel a service I never signed up for. US Directory stated that I have an invoice balance of $669.00 and if I did not cancel today and additional $1300.00 would be charged for the next year. They state I've had 2 years of service with them. I have never had any contact with this company. I've never agreed to do business with them, and I most certainty don't own them any money. They informed me that they would be mailing me the invoice and that I could dispute the claim then. They refused to give me a call back number.Desired SettlementI believe this to be a scam and want it documented.
