Review: Website advertised DOT number within 30 minutes. They took all my information including phone number in case any issues came up they would have a way to contact me. An hour after the application was initiated I still had not received a confirmation or DOT number and called back to get the status. The agent told me she had been trying to call me for the last 5 minutes due to an incorrect credit card number, she had not tried to call at all. I gave her the correct number and my payment went through immediately and received confirmation of the payment. I never received a confirmation of the DOT number or any forms that were filed on my behalf. I had to make several return calls and since my agent had left for the day, no one was willing to help me get the information I was promised within 30 minutes. Their service costs quite a bit and I thought this would help ensure that the service was great. All it got me was a staff full of extremely rude individuals that are unwilling to assist. It is now 24 hours later and I finally got the confirmation sent via fax and they spelled the business name incorrectly, even after spelling everything out for them.Desired Settlement: I feel that since I did not received what was promised in their advertisement and what the agent told me she could do for me that I should receive a billing adjustment. If they had been more willing to help me get the information that my husband needed to begin work, I would have taken an apology and "how can I help you". Being in the medical field, our reimbursement is based on patient satisfaction. It is a shame that anyone has to do business with a company like this.

Review: This company bills itself as the actual UCR filing service, to the point where they use the language on the official DOT service verbatim. They sent us an email saying our UCR was due for renewal and there was a link leading to the renewal page. What they don't tell you is that they are a third billing party and they have no affiliation with the government. They charge you an extra $300 to file the exact same thing you file with the government for a $4 fee. There is also no receipt provided with itemized billing when you are done with them. When you call the billing department, you can't talk to a liver person. They refuse to give their actual business address, they also operate under three different business names. Spoke to [redacted] who called herself a [redacted] and after being on the phone with her for 30 minutes and spending about 15 of that on hold, there was no resolution to my issue.Desired Settlement: Return my money.

[The company that contacted me with a similar issue is based out of Florida. I asked them for clarification about what their name and location was and received no answer. At this time I'll assume this is the same company operating out of two states. They refunded half of the fee that I paid. Issue is not resolved to me because I'd like the whole amount refunded and a receipt showing itemized charges. They also need to be more upfront as to who they are. The response I received from the Florida Revdex.com was inaccurate. The person claimed that when you go to the payment you are informed that you are filing this form using a third party which wasn't shown, neither were actual charges. They just show what you owe which is $1876.]

Review: On Thursday 4/**/14 I called my local BMV agency as to inquire about obtaining my USDOT registrations. I was out of my office and not on a computer. I was given the number ###-###-#### I promptly called it. I also want to bring attention to the fact that if you call this number from any number besides a CELL Phone, it will give you a disconnect recording... it only works when you call from a cell phone. Since my BMV officer gave me the number I assumed it was an official agency. I called at 5:01 the person answered the phone as "DOT authority", it did not occur to me that I was speaking with a private agency. She was quick to help me collecting my information, including CC, business info, address and contact info. That 1st round of cost was $300.00 which I understood to be the USDOT registration cost, ONLY to find out this was to be a FREE filing!! and does only take a few minutes to obtain a number. But within a few minutes I got several emails (smart phone email) confirming my USDOT number but Large warning letters indicating I DID NOT have ICC authority if I was to transport out of state which I intended to do and clearly explained to the agent. I then called back to inquire as to the warnings of non-compliant registration. I then found out I needed to pay an additional $400 for my MC Number Now finding out this cost from FMCSA is $300.00) in addition to my USDOT AND $187.00 for a required UCR filing. Still at this point I completely thought I was talking with an official GOV agency, nothing gave me an indication that I was not. I DID begin to question why they could only look me up by the last 4 digits of my CC number instead of my DOT number, I found that to be odd. Now several days later I'm so upset that I have been lied to and defrauded out of $887.00 for something that should have only cost me $300.00 Further more I have had to call the ACTUAL FMCSA Authority to get my information corrected. This fraudulent company was so quick to help me and get my CC info that they neglected to correctly list my correct carrier information. Other than filing a small claims action against this company for services not rendered, lying to me and impersonating a federal agency, I feel I have no other recourse. I hope my letter here and the others who have filed a complaint will help a person who otherwise might be duped by this [redacted] company.Desired Settlement: I'm willing to pay a small filing fee for services rendered and convenience. But in this case, the company has lied to me and fraudulently represented themselves as an official agency, therefore I seek a full refund less ACTUAL filing cost!

Review: I recently bought a small business that currently had a DOT number. I was trying to change the address on the existing DOT number. I searched the internet and was directed to this company when trying to get a new DOT number or change the address information. I was pressured into paying to get a DOT number for $300.00 and I just found out that you do not have to pay for a DOT number or updates. I was not informed that this type of transaction is free of charge. I was not informed that there is no refund or cancellation after the order. This company is ripping people off providing a $300.00 service that is free. They would not return my phone calls or e-mails.Desired Settlement: My $300.00 should be returned to me (via credit card). They should be required to say upfront that this is a service that they provide that can be done elsewhere (directly thought the gov't website) free of charge. They should not be allowed to pressure people and threaten with remarks of fines and penalties if the DOT number isn't renewed properly.

This company should be prosecuted for fraud for what seems to be a silly scam. This company should be shut down for their slimy way of doing business.
