Review: US Express Moving failed to deliver all of my belongings on a move from New York to Los Angeles. I waited patiently for three weeks for some type of update as to the status of those missing items and was not contacted once. My attempts at speaking with a Manager at US Express who could actually assist me with getting an update have also been unsuccessful. This has been very frustrating as I have paid this company just under $9,000 for this move. And I am now in Los Angeles without key items such as my bedroom mattress. This week I will have no choice but to go out and buy a brand new mattress. Other items which are missing are my bike, glass top to my cocktail table & a living room arm chair. There could be additional missing items which I just haven't realized are missing yet. Any assistance you could provide in citing this company for such poor service and unresponsiveness would be greatly appreciated. I would hate for someone else to have to experience the same issues during what is already a very stressful time.Desired Settlement: I think that if my belongings are not found and delivered to Los Angeles, I am due the total value of those items. If they are found and delivered, I feel I am due a refund of at least $1,820 (25%) from what I have paid as this has been a major inconvenience and the service was not was agreed upon.

Review: After some research in different moving companies I made the decision to use US Express Moving, Inc. After speaking with the representative,[redacted], I felt confident in my decision. I scheduled a pick up of my belonging for December 26th, 2013. On the day of pick up everything went well. Before the arrival of my belongs in Florida I received an update and set up a potential delivery date. On the day of drop off, January 5th, I received my belongings in a timely fashion, however, a box of my belongings was missing. My belongings were placed on a smaller truck due to the fact that the larger 18 wheeler truck would not fit in the apartment complex, this "shuttle" service was an extra fee in which I paid for. Since there was a move from one truck to another, the movers notified me that my belongings may have been overseen and left on the other truck. He made a note on my paper work and let me know that I would be notified on the location of my box. The next business day I proceeded to call the head office. They were unaware of my situation. I was told that my box is in a different warehouse, that I would receive a phone call once they found the location. I received no phone calls. I continuously called with no luck or help in regards to the manner. After speaking to [redacted] and[redacted], two of the representatives, I found myself going around in circles with no form of communication and no outcome. I would call the office and ask to speak to the manager or next person in charge and no one would fulfill me request. Finally, I was told that my box was delivered to the wrong house. At this point the company does not have possession of my belongings. Communication between the staff and myself has been nonexistent. I ask for updates and no one seems to get back to me. The unprofessional manner in which this has been dealt with has made this experience extremely stressful. My belongings are now in someone else's home and I am left with no assistance from the company.Desired Settlement: Ideally I would like my own belongings back if at all possible. If not, I would like to be reimbursed for the cost of my belongs or the extra charge I paid for when setting up for the "shuttle" fee.
