I am rejecting this response because: This company that spld me this vehicle is very over exaggerating my complaintFirst of all I just now fpund out about the title card problem because I was attempting to sell tge vehicle whrn the problem arose.I do not have any problems with anger issues as rgey have portrayed back to you. This so called person who told the dealer not to sell me any vehicle flatly denies those statements made by the dealer in their response to you.The employee was not accousted by me at that McDonald's as so stated in their responseThe same person who supposedly made the original comment to the dealer was with me on that day also and flatly denies those allegations also that the dealer made in their response back to you. Also, the dealer never ever said I was not allowed back at their businessThis is the first time I am hearing this statement from them.I am going to talk to this other person who wss with me on both occassions, at the dealership and at McDonald's to clarify these suppposed statements the dealership said he made to them regarding me

Facts: This was a tranot a XGovernmentCar, customer was made aware of this, US Fleet Lease (XGC) does not rely on or or pull carfax we told customer this(anyone can use carfax and customer choose not to do his own research) State of Minnesota, is the authority, not carfax. If the State deemed the car salvage it would have a LARGE RED STAMP - SALVAGE across the top of the title, this vehicle does not have this, thus not officially titled salvage periodWe watched the vehicle being sold at auction and it was not announced salvage, which it would have had to be announced per auction rules, clearly the dealer taking Mr ***'s trawas using carfax to lower the trade value given to Mr ***In conclusion, We have tried very hard to work with Mr ***, by paying for his repairs allowing him to continue to drive the vehicle and make payments to us for the repairs, we paid $towards said repairsnone of which we where required to dohelping our customers is a regular part of our business and we are glad to do it, however in this case there is no further actions to be taken. The vehicle has been traded in to another dealer sold at auction with clean title and we consider this closed

I am rejecting this response because:
Revdex.com NOTE: Received 'rebuttal' from customer *** *** via e-mail to Revdex.com, 6-7-(Case was initially closed 'Assumed Resolved' after days without consumer response -- Mr *** indicated he did not have an opportunity to respond, but wishes to do so.)Revdex.com asks that US Fleet Lease review Mr ***' rebuttal (and attached images) and provide a foll/ 'final' response, indicating whether this additional perspective changes its position in any way, if there's anything additional it wishes to add to the case file, or if its position remains as indicated in its initial response.Rebuttal from Mr ***: "This letter is in response to us Fleet Lease LLC Sarah ***eIn the letter Sarah indicatedthat she never told me that I could not pull my own carfax report which was a lie, Sarah told methat she did not do Carfax reports and essentially live againSara also implicated in the letterthat she paid over $for my repairs and I did not pay her back which is also a lie, on my bankstatement through Wells Fargo I paid her $for the repairs she never offered to fix mybrakesAlso Sarah indicated that she should not pay for a car that is no longer mine and shefeels as though she did not do anything wrong, / Minnesota rules a consumer must know if theircar or vehicle or both has previously been in an accident and she failed to disclose thisinformation as I have pulled the report from the national vehicle database the same databasethat she claimed that she pulled but when I pulled the report and paid $for it it showed thatmy car indeed had a previous salvage titleI've talked to multiple insurance agencies theinsurance agency which was EMC Insurance which is based out of Iowa they indicated that thiscar was deemed a total loss and junk, also this vehicle has had four previous owners all inwhich has been in Minnesota, she claimed that this this title has been clean and that Carfax wasgiven falsified information however there are some indications that Carfax does not report rightbut in this case Carfax did report this vehicle has been a salvage title and it was true, also SarahSarah stated as if she is not going to pay for a vehicle that I am do not own but her finding outthis information I however had to pay for all the damages on my vehicle and if I knew that it wasa salvage title I wouldn't have purchased it, she also stated that I've got a new vehicle which istrue that immediately after I found out that this vehicle was being a total loss I indeed purchaseanother vehicle which I approve the remaining balance on my vehicleShe also indicated in herletter that I could not get approved for any other vehicle which is a lie, upon you applying to thisCorporation I was approved for Crown Victoria which I declined and she offered me this 2003Oldsmobile Bravada my wife and I were there and we asked her was anything wrong with thevehicle and while it was a draw string there to hold up the bumper she stated that she did notknow any other indications that this vehicle has been in an accident and it is a perfectly runningcarShe also stated in her letter that I falsified my job information which is also alive, at the timeI was working at Rudolph's Barbeque and did not lose my job until months laterI have neverbeen late for a payment through Security Auto Loans this letter is in response to us fleet leastLLC Sarah ***eIn the letter Sarah indicated that she never told me that I could not pull myown CARFAX report which was a lie, Sarah told me that she did not do CARFAX report andessentially glide againSarah also in PA cated in the and that CARFAX was given also fight information however thereare some in the cases that CARFAX does not report right foot in this case CARFAX did reportthis vehicle has been this Salvage title and it it was true, also Sarah's Sarah stated as if she isnot going to pay for a vehicle that I do not own but her fighting out this information I have everhad to pay for all the damage is on my vehicle and if I knew that it wasn't service title I wouldn'thave purchased it, see also stated that I got a new vehicle which is true that it me Lee after Ifound out that this vehicle with Nina total loss I indeed Perkins another vehicle which I a cruelthe remaining balance on my vehicleShe also indicated and her letter that I could not getapproved for any other vehicle which is I lie, upon me applying to this corporation I wasapproved for a crown Victoria which I declined and she offered me this OldsmobileBravada my my wife and I were there and we have her was anything wrong with the vehicle andwhy it was a draw string they are to hold up the bumper she stated that she did not know any ofthe indications dad this vehicle has been in an accident at it as a perfectly one in good carShealso stated in her letter that I falsified my job information which is also a lie, at the time I waswork working at Rudolph barbecue and did not lose my job and months laterI have neverbeen late for a payment through security auto loans and also see stated and if she wasMansfield winning to work with me and do in house, what I am asking for in conclusion pitifulpurchase price for my vehicle plus my trade in the amount of $3,total from the rest also fromher line also in the state of Minnesota difficult has been in the previous accident the title shouldbe checkedUpon talking to *** at the Revdex.com, I made him aware of the titlethat Sarah sent as a pdf file in which shows that the owner of the vehicle before me, shows abox being checked for not having any damage done to this vehicle, however on the title that ireceived there weren't any boxes checked at all which concerns me as if there's been a coverupI conclude by saying, that at the dealership in which I just obtained a new vehicle states, they will not resell a vehicle a previously salvaged title that has not been stamped and theytherefore sold the vehicle to the auction which can be verified through them as well."

Complaint ID # *** *** ** *** did purchase the Oldsmobile Bravada from US Fleet Lease, LLC on October 27, He was made aware that due to his credit situation that it was the only vehicle we had that would work if he wanted to finance a vehicleI, Sarah ***, who worked with
him also made him aware that it was a trade-in, not an ex-government vehicleWhen he took delivery he was also aware that we had not done anything to the vehicle as far as an inspection and if he chose to take it that it was being sold "AS IS" with no warrantyWe did however agree to pay for brakes and rotors if they were needed because it was the one thing that Mr*** thought it neededMr*** had an issue with the truck needing repairs in January so he contacted me then looking for help, we had him bring it to our mechanic in Maple Grove and had the work done at our dealer costWe paid for $of the bill because he never brought it in for brakes or rotors, we were trying to help, then we paid the mechanic to fix his truck so that he wouldn't be without a vehicle because he didn't have them money to fix itWe gave him over a month to pay us back the differenceAs far as the CarFax goes I never once told Mr*** that he couldn't pull a CarFax on the vehicle himself, I simply stated that we as a dealer do not provide CarFax on our vehiclesWe did have a clean title from the owner who traded it in on September 29, "CarFax" is not recognized as an official agency and CarFax does make mistakesWhen Mr*** called to first inform me that he was made aware of what CarFax was reporting I told him I would look into it because it was a surprise to me to hear this informationI immediately called our local DMV to have them look it up to see what the State of Minnesota and NMVITS were reporting, per the State of Minnesota it has never been reported SalvageThe State of Minnesota is prohibited from issuing a CLEAN title if it is in deed SALVAGE, according to Mr*** the CarFax states that it was considered Salvage on September 17, 2013, but the State of Minnesota issued a clean title to the previous owners on July 9, when they purchased the Oldsmobile BravadaWe have not been shown a copy of Mr***' title but according to my DMV he was also issued a clean titleWhen speaking with the DMV they said they have been seeing this happen lately where CarFax is inaccurately reporting informationIn regard to the finance situation the reason we had to "in-house" finance this truck for Mr*** is because he misrepresented on his credit application stating he was employed and when the bank, Security Auto Loans, called to verify his employment Mr*** was no longer employed with themWe were still willing to help him and do the in-house financing even after finding out the truth about him no longer being employed, but Security Auto Loans was still going to service the loan for usSecurity Auto Loans has different programs for dealers which includes "Plan 3" where the dealer does not receive money from them until the loan is paid in full by the customer. We addressed the Attorney General letter we received on May 12, and we are waiting to hear from them at this time.We are including the following documents, our response to the Attorney General, a copy of the clean title and the title transfer forms showing it going into Mr***' name, and the Minnesota Buyers Guide stating it is being sold "AS IS"If needed we can also provide a copy of Mr***' credit application where he falsely signed stating he was employed and the purchase agreement, along with any other forms per your requestWe do not feel that we have done anything wrong, especially not intentionally, or that we owe *** ** *** anything for a vehicle he no longer owns

Mr [redacted], came into our dealership with another happy customer of ours (who told us not to sell a car to him, anger issues and yells at everyone) he proceeded to pick a car right off the transport truck, we told him we don't want to sell you any cars right off the truck without an inspection Mr...

[redacted] insisted we sell him this car and only this car. we tried to show him multiple others with him insisting on this unit. three weeks later he accosted(yelling) a staff member on a Sunday at a a McDonalds where the employee was eating, off the clock, the employee said asked did you call Ed and make an appointment ? Mr [redacted] answered - I don't need an appointment , i'll just drop it off ) once Mr [redacted] dropped the car off without any actual authority, we explained to him he bought the car off the truck "AS-IS" WHERE-IS" without our inspection and we would be not doing any work on the car now three weeks later. Mr [redacted], yells and is abusive to our staff, and we asked him never to return to our place of business.Automobiles sometimes require repair and maintenance, and three items over the course of one year or more on a used car is not uncommon. as far as the mileage goes , this was a clerical error at the Iowa D.O.T we believe the car to have actual miles, but again we did not have the title at the time Mr [redacted] pulled the car off the transportation truck. our title clerk did not see the checked box while transferring as we do not deal in salvage or TMU vehicles. We are however trying to contact Iowa D.O.T to see if we can get them to try and correct the error. Mr [redacted] has also had the title for many months and has only now brought this to attention, Title issues can sometimes take some time to resolve if they can be resolved.

We only heard of this issue for less then 72 hours we are reaching out to Iowa D.O.T. to see if there is a way to correct. but as I stated these issues sometimes take months to correct if they can be resolved at all.
