CONTACTED SELLER AGAIN AT , EXT. 304 ON 6/18/19, *** SAID HE WOULD OVERNIGHT ON FEDEX SAID COIN. NO COIN AND HE WILL NOT RETURN MY CALL.

I submitted a negative review a few days ago after a bad experience in getting my gold after three weeks. The next day another full page add from another Texas company came out selling 1/10th ounce gold coins. I called them but didn't feel very good after talking to them about prices. I called US Gold Firm again as I didn't think they had time to read my past review. I got *** , the ***, again. I almost hung up without saying a word. I ask for a price of coins. He saw my name on caller ID and started right off with apologies about the way I was treated. They don't do business like that he said. He immediately said that he was sending me a gift card to show his sincerity. I appreciated his attitude. I did not ask for the gift nor was there any strings attached to getting the card. I accepted his apology and then decided to buy another 50 coins at the price the other firm was selling them for and this time everything happened as was told. I got my gold in the weeks time. I think it is only fare to report my good experience as well as the not so good experience that I reported already. I will do business with them again.

I called in response to an add in my Salt Lake news paper. Talked to the manager Scott *** who spent a lot of time touting Revdex.com a+ rating and how good their customer service was while blowing the proverbial smoke you know where. Gave me his direct number and to call anytime. What a wast of time. I told him that I would try this one order to see how it went before spending a considerable of money on more gold. he said the order would take 7 to 10 days and he would send me via email a tracking number. Nothing. I didn't get my order for three weeks. he never returned three calls. I talked to Brian and the same treatment. All talk and no follow through. Talked to a Garret with same treatment. Lots of excuses no customer service. If this is the way they treat a new customer wanting to buy double what I bought then I don't want to buy from them ever again. Not one thing they said they would do did they do except I finally got my order after three weeks.

I have made two purchases from this company in recent weeks. The service and selection were great. Delivery was withing the predicted two-week window. The small premium over spot price is reasonable, considering the company covers shipping and insurance, and has a cost of being in business. I did some shopping around online before selecting this company to get my business. The company's representatives on the phone were knowledgeable and helpful and, while encouraging, were not high pressure at all. I have not in fact accepted their recommendations of some alternatives with high premiums. Instead, I have bought gold with minimal premium over spot. I'm not interested in other reasons to buy gold but only in gold bullion as a store of value.
