Review: I responded to an advertisement about bartender training and licensing fro a company called US Hospitality. * and another individual went to the interview together and spoke with the [redacted] of the office "[redacted]". We were both interviewed at the same time and were told that the course offered was a necessary course in order to get a bartenders license and bartend in the state of New York. [redacted] also informed the two of us that bars and restaurants from around New York city contacted them personally with jobs available for US Hospitality certified members only. The course was $199 in order to receive the certification. At the time, I did not have all of the money and all I could pay was $100 upfront and the rest a few day later. I took the course and completed the payment. I was then told to email them in order for them to send me a list of exclusive jobs for US Hospitality members only. I emailed them and only received a list of only 4 job openings. I was told by [redacted] that when I hot to the interviews, to mention US hospitality and also to mention his name because the restaurants and bars contacted them personally. I went to a few of the job openings and spoke with several managers only to find out that none of them ever heard of US Hospitality or [redacted]. I was also informed by th[redacted] that the State of New York does not require a Bartenders license. Also, while at the interview, I met other persons interviewing for the potions that were not members of US Hospitality and was told that they found the job postings on craigslist. I immediately recognized it as a scam. Since taking the two day course at US Hospitality, I have not received and work in which they advertised. I am contacting the Revdex.com to help me with fighting this company and getting it shut down. I am also planning on taking US Hospitality to small claims court in the near future.Desired Settlement: I would like for US Hospitality to refund me the $199 plus extra for the punitive damages and run around in which I received from this company.
