I was I'm formed by [redacted] that they are a scam and not to pay them, especially by debit card. Thank you for providing your background data , as I am an neophyte in the world of the Internet.

I encountered this company because of an unsolicited pop-up on my computer. I later found out that this is a common scam. When I called the phone number on my screen they told me that my computer had been severely compromised and proceeded to gain access to my network and hard drive. First, they said that I could have my computer fixed locally for around $350, but would need to give them all my devices for at least a week. Then, they said I could use a company online who would fix my "problem" for $149. They forwarded the call to this company, US I Guruz, LLC, and I began a lengthy conversation with them. They showed me their website, Revdex.com rating and ensured me if I was not satisfied I could get a full refund. I was given this information from [redacted] in billing. I gave them my CC information and they began doing something to my computer that lasted about an hour. During that time, I called friends and family and they told of this "scam." I also called [redacted] to see if they were the ones who gave me the original pop-up and they said, no! They never do that and it is definitely a third party, who knows nothing about my computer. Review: We were contacted by this company when my husband tried to access his email account, and could not. They told us that our computer had been hacked by a foreign company, and that for a fee of $200 they would remove any dangerous files, and install a protective program. Their website included an endorsement from the Revdex.com, with an "A" rating. We later found out that this company had scammed us. We are trying to recover the $200, and want you to know that this company, which we believe to be fraudulent, is claiming Revdex.com endorsement.

I would like to recover the $200 fee that was paid under false pretenses, and to notify you of a company that should not be using the Revdex.com endorsement. Thank you,[redacted]

Review: While setting up yahoo email on my new computer, I had just entered

my password when I lost my yahoo email on my cell phone. After

trying several times with my password, neither my new computer nor

my cell would bring up yahoo mail. The next morning I want to [redacted], Rene tried for 40 mins. Unable to fix. He looked up yahoo

and gave me there number. When I called Mark W[redacted] answered he ask

for permission to log into my computer I allowed him. He says

someone from Russia connected and taking my information on my IP

address and need a level 5 to remove. He quoted the price for

$499.99 for them or in Houston for $799.99. I said I was very

worried my information thru my IP was jeopardized. He said he would

transfer me to level 5 support. Chris came and showed me data from

my computer that said foreign connected or listening. He passed be

to Barry A[redacted] he said would take 3 to 4 hours to fix. He could not

fix the email account said [redacted] was going away and I needed a

new [redacted]. I said ok, but was nervous about giving him my

answer for user id and password. Barry said all is fixed showed me

no foreign connection, I saw none. Look at and have printout with

time stamp on what I believe they did. They only send 8 messages and

I believe 2 or for connect and disconnect. Barry send me back to

Chris and Chris says I must paid with electronic check, paypal or

cashier check. I wanted to pay by credit card they he said no

because my IP was hacked. I said how about electronic check, he said

that was encrypted. Told him I was not comfortable about the whole

deal. As of today Sunday 01-**-16 my yahoo.email still not working

and my computer is still turned off since I am unsure if working

correctly.Desired Settlement: proved that they fixed the IP hacking since my email is still not fixed.

Review: On 3/**/15, a convincing pop-up warning on Safari indicated that my computer had been compromised and instructed me to call a 800-number, which I did. They made me believe that they worked with Apple, and that they had an "A" rating with the Revdex.com (which looked legit). They told me that I had foreign entities using my computer, and that they could clean it up and secure it for $500/$600, and for $299/$399 more they would install a protective program with a 2 year warranty, so I did it. I made the payment thru Paytabs, and logged them in remotely, and the process began. When they were done, I checked my firewall, which was down and put it back up. Eventually with afterthought and sensing something wasn't right I closed the account from which I made payment. Shortly thereafter I got a new phone. While I was setting up my new phone they were trying to contact me (coincidence?). Ironically when they contact me, the caller ID shows up as "Unknown", "Skype Caller", or "Private Caller". Numbers which you cannot block.

In June/** they contacted me to check my system (the extra security which I paid for), and make sure things were ok. I logged them in….they informed me that my IP had been hacked by foreign entities and they were using me, but for another $500-$600 I needed another level 5 anti-hacking expert…AGAIN!! I asked how this happened when I paid them $899 - 2 1/2-3 months prior to fix and secure my computer. I was offered a refund, which I've never received. I had closed the account from which I had paid them, so I was told that in order to get my money back, they would give me a number for [redacted], and that I would have to send them $499 to activate that number, and that they guaranteed to pay me back the $899+$499 immediately. I told them I didn't have $499, and I wanted another option which I chose that was [redacted]. They told me that 80% of the time people who chose this option never received it, because [redacted] wouldn't accept checks, money, diamonds, or gold, and once they issue a check and [redacted] wouldn't accept it, they would never issue another check. I chose [redacted] because I know better. When I called them back the next day they told me that [redacted] couldn't/wouldn't process it, and encouraged me to use [redacted] again. ---This is how I understood their broken English.Desired Settlement: An uncomplicated refund. A money order/cashiers check made out to me, put in an envelope with my name, complete address, affixed with the proper postage, and mailed to me via [redacted], or [redacted] with a tracking number that is emailed to me so I can follow it. They can even take the cost of postage out of the money they told me that they were going to refund me.

Review: Personal computer popup "warning" indicated I had virus and directed me to call 800-number. People that answered indicated they were from USiGuruz and needed to scan my computer on behalf of the computer manufacturer, which is Apple. Scan indicated "Level 5" intervention was necessary, due to approximately "10 hackers that were using my computer". "Level 5" repair was $350 if they began immediately, or $550 if I hung up to consider options. Price increase if I had to call them back would be to repeat initial scan to identify damage from hackers after hanging up from initial call. I payed the $350 and gave them access to my computer for about 30 minutes, and called apple in meantime who advised me 'hackers' scenario was impossible and this was a "phishing scam". Realizing I was hooked, I disconnected "USiGuruz" from my computer. Tactics appear were designed to decieve.Desired Settlement: Refund-Credit Card Credit

Review: Purchased subscription on 3/*/15, Canceled subscription 3/**/15, vendor stated refund would be 25-30 days

Review: My computer was taken over by this company. They gave a phone number to call for help because I was frozen after a hack. A person on the other end said I would receive a service for the hacking of my IP address. The charge was $499.00, but for a senior citizen they would charge $249.00. I gave them my credit card number but for some reason the charge didn't go through. I called my Visa card number and they said this appears to be fraud. My card was compromised. I destroyed the card and received a new one. My computer company in this area, East Lansing, said not to do business with this company. They charged me $40.00 for going over my computer.Desired Settlement: I hope other computer owners are warned about this company and not to do business with them.

Review: I first was put in touch with this company when I could not receive som [redacted] e-mails so I [redacted] customer service" (so shame on me for believing that a [redacted] listing for any service is legitimate...then that [redacted] customer service site (also a fraudulent site as this one is) referred me to US I GURUZ, LLC (or "adsys guruz as they also are listed ..both sites getting a well deserved "F" from the Revdex.com) ..anyway, then I allowed them the ability to "open access" my computer (again shame on me ) ...and they then found a number of foreign companies/individuals who had infected my I.P....so not believing that after US I GURUZ, LLC (or "adsys guruz as they also are listed) had locked up my computer so I could no longer open it, I took it to an intown computer place I had previously worked with and trustedDesired Settlement: Refund and apology
