The homeowner hired an electrician that billed the him directly, we agreed to pay the bill. We had to establish the electrician as a "vendor" in our system which delayed the payment. The homeowner suggested I pay the bill with cash but unfortunately we do not handle cash at our business. I did explain to Mr. [redacted] our policy and understand his frustration with this matter. Review: On August 10th 2015 US Insulation was at my residence ([redacted], CT) attempting to complete a blow in cellulose insulation application in my exterior walls. During the installation process one of the installers came into contact with an electrical wire with his hole saw. The installer damaged the wire which required electrical repair by an electrician. I contacted [redacted] Electrical Contractors out of [redacted] CT whom sent out an electrician to mitigate the problem. The total cost of this emergency electrical repair was $280.00. I spoke to the supervisor/sales representative Kevin R[redacted] whom stated "they would pay the bill directly and I was to leave him a copy of the invoice." Kevin picked up a copy of the invoice the next day August 11th and I had assumed the invoice was paid. On September 15th 2015 I had received a past due invoice from [redacted] showing the invoice was not paid and over due. I Contacted US Insulation on September 16th and spoke with Pat, whom stated "this was an embarrassing situation and he will pay the bill with [redacted]." I followed up with [redacted] Electrical Contractors today September 29th and was advised that the invoice has still not been paid.Desired Settlement: US Insulation to pay $280.00 to the [redacted] Electrical Contractors (CHECK) for my electrical repair on August 20th 2015. The invoice number is [redacted] and can be sent to [redacted], CT [redacted].
