This job is progressing nicely at this time [redacted] has had several meetings with the homeowner and we have come to agreements on items that were in question At this time we are continuing the repair on the home and to my knowledge the homeowner is happy with everything that is going on Thanks [redacted] ***

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Regards, [redacted] The insurance adjuster was clear in that any deviation from the scope / amount approved needed to be cleared by them first This did not occur, and Panhandle went over budget without anyone's approval It is questionable whether or not the insurance company will accept this increase after-the-fact, but I'm open to try -- provided Panhandle refunds me the difference now, and leads its own efforts to recover from the Insurance company, for-better-or-for-worse In all cases, Panhandle should not have exceeded its estimate and/or completed additional work without approval from either of us I was otherwise discussing wallpaper with the Interior Designer as late as February -- until it was clear that there wasn't sufficient money (due to the issue above) and that I would have to replace wallpaper with paint That said, there were paint colors picked out well in advance of this, because not all of the rooms had wallpaper, some of them originally had paint and were slated to be repainted Evidence below: [redacted] [redacted] [redacted] [redacted] Thanks ***I will see what I can find and be in touchEnjoy the rest of your weekend!! Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowTo start off I want to say I had two conversations with [redacted] about the items I was being over charged for and the work that wasn't completedDuring both of those conversations he never once said he would look Into the charges and get back with me about itI had told him I was going to contact the Revdex.com and a private attorney and he told me to do what I have to doSo at no point were my concerns going to be addressed until I sent the complaint to the Revdex.comIn regards to the answer to the complaint I filed they are willing to reimburse me for OSB that wasn't used on the jobI was charged for 3/inch and 1/inch was usedThey also said they would give a credit for the Insulation that wasn't not usedHowever these are the other items on the Invoice that I am still being charged for:They detached a baseboard heater but they did not reattach the heaterI am being charged for a toe kick/pre finished wood 1/inchI do not have a toe kickI am still being charged for clean up of the job siteI cleaned the job siteThey are charging for hours clean up and did not clean the job siteAs far as signing the contract goes, I signed a contract that stated that if NO work was done I would be charged Some work was completed and from the very start of this process I have been being over charged and taken advantage ofAt no time did I ask for a flooring guy to come out or a kitchen cabinet guy to comeThe company would have had to send someone to take the measurements for this anywayWhen I met with the flooring guy he brought one type of flooring and it was the cheapest flooring available It was explained to me that he brought the samples that were in stock at their warehouseSo no SPECIAL flooring was orderedI am sure they keep this flooring available to again take advantage of the consumer and make as much profit as possible by offering the cheapest flooring availableThis was the same with the kitchen guyHe brought two books and showed them to my wife and then told her that she would need to pick from the first bookThey were the cheapest cabinets availableA decision was never made about the kitchen cabnets so as stated in the e mail response to the Revdex.com we as the consumer NEVER CHANGED OUR MINDS It is clear this company is out to make as much money as possible by taking advantage of the consumerThey over charge and offer cheap materials to the customerThis is so they can make the most profit available to themAs far as having them continue the work, I would never allow them back in my home after knowing they were taking advantage of meHad they been up front and charged a reasonable amount for materials and labor, I would have let them finish the workHowever, I do not appreciate them trying to take advantage of meContact or no contract they were not welcome back in my home after all thatI have been in contact with my insurance company and have requested an Inovice with dollar amounts on itThis was so I could get with my insurance company to discuss the chargesSo if these prices are a set standard there shouldn't be any problem with them sending an Invoice with dollar amounts on it for review by myself and my Insurance companyI will not agree to settle until I am satisfied that I am not being charged for material and labor that this company did not provideI have asked for a detailed Invoice with dollar amounts and still have not recieved oneSo seems to me that the only ones being sneaky and dishonest is this companyI also wanted to add that they didn't not show up for two work days that they were supposed to be hereHowever in the response the Revdex.com the company stated that I was not available for them to do the repairsI as the home owner was here waiting for them to show up to do the workIn the response that was sent they stated I was unavailableAgain this is a lieI feel this response was made without the full details againI have no problem paying for the work and materials that they did provideHowever, from what has gone on so far it's very clear this company is out to take advantage of the consumer and to keep as much of my insurance money as possible by making fraudulent statements to the Revdex.com Regards, [redacted]

I have researched this complaint with everyone involved and I cannot find any issues with work product At that time in January there were delays in service because of the extreme cold we encountered and the large influx of claims Everyone in this industry was behind including the insurance companies and adjusters People that called in for service were told they would be put on a waiting list and would be contacting before sending a crew to see if they still needed service This customer accepted service when we were able to get to her I have spoke with our E service Manager who was at the home to check everything when the job was complete He states everything was done correctly and at that time the customer was very satisfied He was also with another employee named [redacted] that is from the area this customer lives and he also stated she was very happy and told him how she invited our workers to have food and drinks because they were so nice I have also attached a copy of a signed certificate of completion This was signed when [redacted] was at the home about days after the work was complete as you can see it was signed by the customer on January 30th We were completely finished at this time and if she was not satisfied she would not have signed this The trash that she speaks of was picked up by [redacted] the night they were there to inspect the property and make sure all the work was complete I have managers that have told me the same story when it comes to this I have also spoken to my accounting and [redacted] and he has spoken to this customer once and he has left her a message once There are not many un-returned phone calls that she speaks of We have a computerized phone system that logs calls by caller ID and can give us a log of all the calls and if they were answered or went to a VM and who's VM they were transferred to I have reviewed this log sorted by the phone numbers on file for this customer and I don't see a list of un-returned calls that she speaks of Bottom Line is she was happy when she left The insurance company paid her off of our bill and we have never collected a penny from her She now has been turned into collections and we are almost at a year from when service was rendered I have a baand answers for all of the accusations and we expect to be paid in full for this work At this time the collection process will continue and if we don't receive payment including the fees for collections this will escalate to the next level Because we have a signed COC we will persue the collection to the fullest extent allowed including reports to all major credit burrows At this time I have no reason to reduce or take blame for anything

This trim needed to be done in order for a match of what the cus***er had. Allot of this could not be seen at the beginning because the building that had burnt down was so close to this building. The cus***er did not sacrifice and take paint becasuse of the added expense. The paint... was picked out way before this added expense occured and the interior decorator even stated that the wall paper was dated and they wanted to paint at this time to modernize the home. The insured is more than welcome to talk o their adjuster and get this cost covered. The should cover the supplement with no issues. If he wants to submit this for approval we will gladly explain why it was needed and help him recover it if it is a covered part of the loss. Thanks ***

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] *nd have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below [Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.] Regards, [redacted] I have never received a return call from the company I have an answering machine and never have received any message nor have they ever shown up on my caller ID Three appointments were made with me and they were a no show, not even a call to tell me they were not coming Fourth appointment was kept at PM at night on 1/17/ Z [redacted] was not here the same time workers were here I ask him for an estimate and he told me he dealt with the insurance company not me Yes I offered the workers something to drink one of the workers was gathering trash in a tee shirt he had no coat it was cold and snowing and the trash was frozen to the ground I spoke to [redacted] one time and that was when I called him I have never spoken to anyone at the company except an operator who directed my calls I do not know who people from Panhandler talked to but they never called me or left any messages on my phone Have had some unknown hang ups but never any calls from Wheeling I received my first bill from Panhandler in May five months after work was done I have been unable to talk to anyone from the company I keep being told I'll get a call but have never received a call [redacted] spoke to me once when I called him and was to call me back after research and he never called or left any messages Thank you for your assistance [redacted] ***
