I would just like to relay our experience US Metal Buildings Corp My husband & I have been doing some research on metal buildings because we are planning to purchase one next spring and we are trying to plan for the expenses so we know what to expect You can't get a quote online unfortunately and you have to submit a request and then the hounding starts with sales people, which we wanted to avoid! A sales guy from US Metal Buildings named [redacted] starting calling our phone non-stop for days, calling every min, then every min, left msgswith same spiel and urging us to call right away today or our chance would be gone for a good deal within hrs We clearly stated in our request that we would not be ready for about a year but just wanted a price quote on what we needed It should be short, sweet and simple! We were so annoyed with this guy ringing our phone off the hook I finally called the company and spoke with a manager named ***, I explained to him very nicely our experience thinking as a business manager he would want to know this was going on Much to my dismay he could have cared less, he offered no apology and acted as if I was the one with the problem He was very short and said we will take you off our calling list, have a good day! That was it! Unbelievable! I would not recommend doing business with this company!!! Very rude!!

Very rude when could not sell me on the spot " telling me to [redacted] off ect," worst sale's people ever 1/23/

Not a company you will want to deal with My husband inquired about getting a garage/shop built on our property The sales representative contacted him and seemed to be very cordial Within the last hours, we have now received at LEAST phone calls asking us if we have made a decision We were awakened this morning at 7am, and Justin Hutchins was again informed that we weren't interested in using their company for our jobAs SOON as we hung up the phone, he IMMEDIATELY called back asking us the same exact question We also received an email asking us again, were we going to use his company I wish we would have never contacted this company for a quote and warn anybody else that does, that you will be considering harassment charges against this company in the endTheir sales tactics are running people off instead of getting them alot of businessTheir customer service skills leave something to be desiredDo not use this company

Purchased a 22' x 28' x 12' building and yes they are in sales but no way did they try and take my money nor did they force me to buy itThis is a large purchase and I knew that it would not be a day process but they shipped the building to me when they said they wouldI had the opportunity to speak with Gabrielle, Jay, Ronnie and Dillon and all of them were niceGabrielle was super nice and gave her cell number to text and that made it so much easierbuilding is quality and better than what they said it would be
thanks a bunch *** Curry Claremore, OK

They are out to trick you into a sale then they got you!!!! once you do not read and understand all the fine print and ask to cancel your order, they will demand and take thousands of dollars away from you.this company has no ETHICS!!!!!! STAY AWAY FROM U.S. METAL BUILDINGS!!!!

I've been in the concrete business for over 40 years, I got my license in 1992.
34); font-size: 12.8px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;">The homeowner wanted a special design of half circles thru out her cement deck. She was advised of the possibility of cracks appearing due to the design she wanted. She also asked if I guaranteed my concrete not to crack and I said NO. Unfortunately the deck cracked. We went back 5 times to try and repair the cracks. The concrete was expanding in the sun and contracting in the night. The repairs were not holding. I offered to saw cut it and the homeowner refused..all of this was at my expense. The concrete was poured early in the monring and finished by 11 am before it got hot. No rdant was used. I use Bubble Gum Release (which is used for all stamp designs). Also I use a Fiber mesh reinforcement in all my work. The stamp pattern homeowner picked out was slate which has uneven patterns. The pool was not contaminated at all, a small amount of debris from finishing the nose may have been in the pool, but the skimmer cleans it up. This is the way it is on all pool decks. I've never had a problem with a little debris in a pool before. Nothing was said when we finished and she paid me. She loved the deck. I asked the homeowner to lightly mist concrete 2 times a day for a week, starting the next day. Homeowner's father said he would it, not sure if he did. Also homeowner had someone drill holes around deck for a childrpoof fence. This may have caused some cracking.
IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CONTRACTORS LICENSE BOARD GUIDELINES IT MEETS THE INDUSTRY STANDARDS. (see attched)
THE AMERICAN Concrete Institute addresses this issue in ACT 302.1-04. Even with best designs and proper construction, it is unrealistic to expect crack-free concrete. Every owner should be advised by both the designer and the contractor that it is normal to expect some amount of cracking on every project, and does not necessarily reflect adversely on either the designer or the contractor or the quality of the construction.

I went on their website to acquire a quote on a metal building I had to give my phone number and other information. since then I have been receiving non-stop phone calls and when I finally did talk to one of the representatives and told them I was no longer interested in their services due to the harassing phone calls I was laughed at.. I asked if it was funny and was told what are you going to do turn us in. I then proceeded to tell them I would turn them into the Revdex.com I was left out again and was told that only dumb rednecks look at the Revdex.com reviews so don't waste your time they are very unprofessional and higher very immature people

I had the misfortune of dealing with this company about a month after they had signed an Assurance of Voluntary Compliance with the Florida Attorney General's Office, stating that they would stop their unethical and deceptive sales practices, and forced US Metal Buildings to pay $500,000 to past customers that they had done wrong.
Apparently, this agreement means nothing to US Metal Buildings because they lied, misrepresented their product, acted like this was a one-time deal that we had to make at that time, and were very unethical and deceptive.

I am rejecting this response because: I would like to start by stating that [redacted] never warned me of the possibility of cracks appearing due to the design we picked out. I sent him a picture of the design we wanted (on 6/3/2015) and his workers said “oh yeah we can do whatever you would like”. I picked the design because some of my close friends have the same pattern. They do not have any cracking of their concrete at all. It was obviously done by a different contractor. I would also like to point out if the [redacted] has been licensed for over 40 years then why would he allow us to pick a design that he felt would cause “more cracking”, and not have us sign a waiver. [redacted] never told us that he thought that our pattern design would cause “more cracking” than normal until after I threatened to take him to the licensing board on August 21st, 2015 at 9:43am. He said that he said that the cracks may run off the joints. If you look at the 16 cracks that I have taken picturesof, only 2 “run of the joints”. [redacted] was not the one who looked at the work that was done by his men. He sat in his truck while his workers came into our backyard to look at all the cracking, shoe print, and joints crumbling. Then he stated that I asked if he guaranteed his concrete not to crack. That is also not true. I sent him a text message Tuesday, August 25th and asked him if there was a warranty on the concrete. I asked him that because I had 2 different licensed contractors come out and look at the poor job he did on our concrete. They said that they offer a 1 year warranty on their concrete work. That is why I asked him “if there was a warranty on the concrete” after the fact. [redacted] did offer to saw cut the concrete on August 21st, 2015 after I asked him to contact the cement company. At this time I was tired of him trying repeatedly to fix the problem and making it worse. I have several pictures of what the concrete has done over the last 2 months. There are pictures of the cracks before he tried to fix them, pictures after he tried to fix them. There is also a picture ofthe shoe print in the concrete. I was very hesitant to let [redacted]’s workers come out and saw cut the cracks. I could not imagine how that would look after the poor job he had them do previously. The two licensed contractors who came out to look at the job on August 24th and 25th. They told me that they would have no problem being a witness to the poor job that was done on my pool deck. I said that he used rdant but instead he used bubble gum release. The point is that he had to use a lot of it because the concrete was drying up on his workers. I havepictures where the stamp looks really nice and other areas where the stamp is barley visible.           [redacted] stated that he use fiber mesh reinforcements. I was told for such a large area of concrete being poured that he should have used rebar or welded wire mesh. I wastold that fiber mesh is good for small jobs like a pathway not large areas like a pool deck.            [redacted] also stated that the pool was not contaminated at all. He stated that there was a small amount of debris in the pool and that the pool skimmer could clean it up. I called [redacted] after to let him know that there was lot of concrete and mud still in the pool. He sent one of his guys over who got into the pool to pull out some large chunks of concrete. That was not good enough so I had to call our pool guy [redacted] to come after normal hours to hand pump the stuff from the bottom of the pool. He spent over two hours pumping the stuff out of the bottom of the pool. He also had to clean out our brand new filters 4 times. I have pictures of; the pool before the concrete was poured, during the process of the concrete job, and 2 days later when our pool guy had to come out.           [redacted] also said that I never said anything and that I paid him. I gave him a deposit check of $5,000.00 on June 2nd, 2015. I then gave him another check for $5,000.00 3 days later on the day the forms were laid. I only had a remaining balance of $1,054.00 when the job was competed on 6/9/2015. I was not home to say “I loved the deck”. My dad was at my home when the job was finished and he gave [redacted] the check I had left for him. We were on vacation in Palm Springs, California during the day of the pour of the concrete. From the first day I was able to inspect the pool deck there were lots of areas within the joints that look bad. I took pictures as soon as I was able to. I did not send those pictures to[redacted] at the time.      [redacted] stated that I had someone drill holes around the deck for a childproof fence. This is true. We had a professional come out and re drill the holes for the mesh fence. We had this done a week and a half after the concrete was poured. If [redacted] actually came out and inspected the cracking around the pool himself, then he would know that none of the cracks are coming from the holes for the fence.

DO NOT HAVE ANY DEALINGS WITH THIS COMPANY. My order was supposed to be delivered between 5-2015 and 6-2015. Didn't get delivered until 9-2015. Excuse after excuse. When it finally did arrive, there were missing structural pieces. it could not be built. The pieces were delivered and the erecting began. Once the roof was ready to get installed, the roof panels had already started to oxidize. They said that they were stored incorrectly. No matter how they were stoed, they are roof panels and a little water (rain) should not damage the panels. I called and they got really agressive about not being thier fault. they did say that I could get replacement panels but I would have to pay freight. I agreed because my crew was ready to get this long awaited buillding finished. I paid for overnight shipping on wed. morning but got the materials Friday after 5 p.m.. NOT overnight.
I asked for the shipping invoice but was told that there was not one available. I feel that the shipping was not just the freight cost but highly overpriced to cover the metal cost for the replacement panels. As with many of my phone conversations, they flat out lied to me many times. They told me that the truck driver was in my neighborhood and was waiting on me. I was right there and no truck. They said that they just talked with him. I called him and he was 40 miles away. no where close. LIES. Any problem that you may have with this company is handled with agressive rude conversations. When I talked with them about the ruined roof panels, the person I talked with got an attitude and threatened to pull the replacement panels. Not professional at all. I got the phone number to one of the v.p.'s but everytime I call he is busy or not available. many, many more frustrating phone calls. This is the worst company that I have ever done business with. I guess they want one time only customers with no chance of repeat business. they won't get mine or anyone that I come into contact with. They could have done the right thing....but didn't.

Deceptive sales tactics, pressures the sales. Garage doors were wrong and the whole order was 2 months late. Still waiting for a resolution on getting my garage door corrected. I ordered a High Lift, and they sent a standard lift for a 14 foot side wall garage. They are not professional in wanting to correct their errors. Would not recommend company to anyone.
