Thursday, October 22, 2015To Whom It May Concern: This is my response to a letter that I recently received from the NM Revdex.com.Us Painting sold a paint package to Miss [redacted] in December of Miss [redacted] was an acquaintance of Us Painting so we thought we could help her out with her projectI bid out a single color package to miss [redacted] with some repair workShe was in agreement with the price and the specs of work so she signed the contract and gave me a half of the money down and half would be paid on completionShe was fully aware that my wife and I were about to have a baby any daySo we got started and everything was fine until Miss [redacted] decided she would like the trim and doors a different color than the wallsThis was the start of many change orders and extra workI spent several more hours helping out with this change order list at no extra cost other then the materialsNear the completion of the job she really started acting weirdShe also openly admitted to my workers and I that she was OCD and nothing we would do would be correctWe final got to the point were she was somewhat satisfiedIt was a Saturday that we came back to take care of the last few things, that is when I presented her with the final billShe had a check ready for Us painting with extra stating that she was thankful for us and we had did a good jobWhen a customer gives me the final payment it is on the completion of the jobAs it is listed on my contract half down and half on completionA few days later I received an email requesting me to go back and take care of a few more thingsI replied that my wife was in labor and I was not sure when I could get backShe replied back with a ugly email demanding that we return that we left her a mess and other painters had came by and we are the worst painter in the world and how can we call our selves professional paintersThen I replied to her that why would she want the worst painter in the world to return I told her that she has insulted me, my company and my workersI also stated that I don’t take that lightly and I think she is a flat out bullyShe is a well-educated Drthat thinks the world owes her some thingI gave her more then what she paid for and now she is trying to ruin my reputation and creditabilityFinally I was willing to go back but after that email I was not willing to go backAs far as I am concerned when she gave Us painting the final payment that was the completion of the contract.Sincerely,Casimero P [redacted] Owner Us Painting

I am rejecting this response because: Mr*** (not an acquaintance) seems quite angry about the comments that were made by OTHER PAINTERS, not by meThere were never changes to the original plan, though he repeatedly tried to take short cuts; some I went with and others I did notThe job was not done well (my opinion vindicated by his colleagues) and is still in the process of being "fixed" at considerable additional costI thought I hired a professional and I expected the job to be done professionallyIf that means I have OCD, then so be itWhen I paid Mr.***, I assumed he had the integrity to finish the job, but he packed up his stuff the moment he got the check and did not finish the jobThat was my mistake to expect any modem of professionalismIn retrospect I should have taken Mr*** to small claims courtSince this is not the venue, I will go ahead and post pictures of his work and the public can decide for themselves if this was a professional jobHe has been given ample opportunity to make things right

She was fully aware that my wife and I were about to have a baby any day. So we got started and everything was fine until Miss [redacted] decided she would like the trim and doors a different color than the walls. This was the start of many change orders and extra work. I spent several more hours helping out with this change order list at no extra cost other then the materials. Near the completion of the job she really started acting weird. She had a check ready for Us painting with 20.00 extra stating that she was thankful for us and we had did a good job. When a customer gives me the final payment it is on the completion of the job. As it is listed on my contract half down and half on completion. A few days later I received an email requesting me to go back and take care of a few more things. I replied that my wife was in labor and I was not sure when I could get back.
