Be aware that the customer service representatives are not knowledgeable about the policies. I was informed that the I had 24 hours for a refund. As I found out after the fact, there is a $100 processing fee that is NON-refundable. I tried to cancel the service with 1 hour. No processing had been done at all. The case manager told me she could not refund the $100. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE
I sent all of my information to this company on July 11th and received my Passport Book and Card on July 20th. They kept me informed of progress by email. I had three telephone interactions with a service representative and all were satisfactory. The process is complex but if one follows the clear instructions, the outcome will be fine.
This site misrepresents themselves and if you can get someone on the phone, they are rude. There entire business model is built on representing themselves as a government site and buying the top position in ad words for US passports and then scamming customers out of $50 that is non-cancellable despite them doing nothing but cancel a portion of the service when you call to cancel. I logged into their web site for expedited passport renewal. On the first screen, they got all of my credit card information. Their application hung up on the 3rd screen and I was unable to complete and print my application. When I restarted the application, the first screen again asked for my credit card information. I was uncomfortable and discontinued the process. It took me a couple of days to reach their 800 number to ask for a CC;charge reversal. They refused and said that I should have called them within 24 hours, even though I was not able to complete the process (I did start calling them within 24 hours, but was unable to connect with anyone at the 800 number). The worst part, I had to spend 3 hours over the course of 48 hours before I reached a human being at their 800 number.
