US Pay day Loans Reviews (3)

Review: I applied for a loan on the internet. They called me reptetively about putting money on a [redacted] prepaid debit card to show proof of payment. When I complied with what they asked they still informed me that my loan was on the way but they still needed to collect 230 for fees for bank to bank transfer. The guy (Ryan) wouldn't listen to my concerns or fears of lossing out on what money I did have. I didn't have the money to get the 160. 00 for the months payment thus the reason for the loan. Ryan keep calling back and arguing with me and he was really hard to understand but still wouldn't listen to my concerns. Very upsetting company and I still didn't receive the loan.Desired Settlement: I asked for him to credit my [redacted] Card for 160.00 and he refused to refund my money.

Review: On Tuesday, August 19, 2014 I received a call from a gentleman claiming that I had been approved for a loan of up to $5,000. He asked how much I would like and said $2,000 and I was then informed that I would only need to pay $100 a month until the loan was paid off. Then he told me to get the loan I would have to go get a [redacted] Money Pack Card and then put the first payment on the card, and that afterwards it only take 15 minutes to process the payment and put the money into my account. After I informed him that I didn't have the money, he said that he would hold the application for me. I said okay and then told my husband about the loan. He said to ask how much it would be for $4,000 a month, the gentleman told me it would $173 and that he would update the loan and then told me to call him back when I had the Money Pak Card. I said I would then finally asked to do the full $5,000 because it would get me completely caught up on all of my bills. I was told that I would need to put $278 on the Money Pak Card. This fee was still easily done considering how tightly my money was already stretched.

When I got the Money Pak Card, I called, gave them the number and was told it would take 20 minutes for the money to be deposited and that I could expect a call back in 30 minutes. When the money was not put into the account, I called them back. I was then informed that because of the amount of the loan and having increased the amount from $2,000 to $5,000 and with the fact that I had poor credit that I would have to pay an additional $600 to get the loan. I started getting upset and crying because the money I had just given them was all of my money, the rest of my pay check that hadn't gone for gas, my cell phone, school supplies for my daughter, and the remainder of the months' rent. He said that they would be able to deduct what I had already paid, and I again informed him that I didn't have the money.

I hung up and they called back the following day. I was then informed that I wouldn't be able to get my money back. I told him that I needed my money back and that I expected it to be returned. He said that he would hold the loan for me until I could come up with the remaining $600. I told him that I only wanted my money back. He said that he would refund the money then and to expect it to be deposited into my account shortly. I waited for 30 minutes and called him back when the money wasn't deposited. He then told me that as he had stated earlier that the money would be refunded in 90 days. I told him that I had no money for food and that I needed the money then. He said there were two options: 1) Wait the 90 days or 2) Pay the extra money to get my refund then.Desired Settlement: I only want the money I paid for the Money Pak Card $4.95 and the money that I placed on that card $278 back. That's all I want.

Review: Requested a $5000 loan. After sending the company $180 to show good faith that I could make the monthly payment and was told that I was pre-approved they then turned around and told me I had to send another $499 because of my credit score. They then said they would work with me and if I could do $200 they would fund my loan. The next day I went and got the money pak card for the $200, called the company to tell them I had purchased the card and they proceeded to tell me that they could not fund the loan until I came up with the additional $299. They won't refund my money and have told me it would cost $120 to cancel and then sent me an email that it will cost me $160 to cancel and it will be 30-45 days until I get a check back for the money I already gave them.Desired Settlement: I want all the money I have already gave them without them charging me a cancellation fee and I want it before 30 days. The total I am requesting is $380.00
