Review: My husband ordered a series of items (8 [redacted] cubes) through [redacted] from a Chinese company. These were tracked online and we knew what day they would be delivered at our home. A total of 8 packages were expected. When we came home we expected to find 8 packages waiting and there were only 2 packages. We checked online and it said that the post office had delivered these packages. So we called the post office, established a case file and waited. Nothing. We called back three days later, after waiting because they said they'd call us. They said they had no information and to call back the following week. The next week I called and they didn't have any information but gave me a new case number and said to call back in a week. When I called back in a week, they directed us to the Postal Inspector's office. Those folks gave us a new case number. When I called back a week later, I discovered our case numbers, yes numbers, were not in the system. The woman I spoke to gave me a false number for a third person to contact in the Maryland Post Master Inspector General's office. During all this time my husband also called several times and was given the run around. In total, we probably called 10 times. We also called the [redacted] Post Office and filed a case with the [redacted] Police. Basically, nothing has been done. Our mail was taken from our front porch - a federal offense - by someone maybe the postman, maybe someone else. We are out money (~ $53). But our mail was stolen and the US Postal Service doesn't seem to care at all. We've been treated very poorly and our case completely ignored. The reason I filed the report and dealt with the post office is that my husband is a primary Spanish speaker and the USPS has no way on their webpages for him to file a report himself. I have attached the information (pdf) we sent to the [redacted] Police with our case number regarding the missing packages.Desired Settlement: We would like our packages. If this is impossible, we would like a refund of our money AND an apology from the Post Office for the poor treatment they afforded us, and our time and efforts that they wasted.
