I am writing as a former employee of the company. I am extremely disheartened at the way that this company does business. Like many have stated, they lure you in making many promises but immediately you come to realize how disorganized this company is. I have about 4 numbers for this company because many times I would reach out and realize that they number was no longer active. I literally volunteered my time and tutored because I was NEVER PAID. They are ruining peoples lives and taking away from the innocent. I can not believe that they are still in business all this time. I am very close to reporting them on the news because this has gone on for too long and families need to be warned about this terrible company. I would like this company shut down as soon as possible.

we are not clear what [redacted] means. What is not true. Our company will like to work out a settlement, but first we must receive the parent signature form from her last tutor. This is the same tutor [redacted] would like to continue with. That gave her incorrect information. If the tutor doesn’t submit paper work yes they cannot get paid.

We have repeatedly tried to have a tutor complete the sessions for his son and had...

availability now and before. We did try to accommodate his hours and he so that's one of the reasons why its been taking longer then normal. The tutor that we did send out to him was not comfortable in the home but we was not aware of that till a few days later. We have been sending him emails on many occasions to have the sessions.The last email sent out to him was to inform him that the company attorney will be in contact with him.
he did speak with the attorney and that's where we left off at. We would like this to get resolved within the next 10 business days.

I don't need a laptop I have a computer at home. I said I wanted  a computer because I was told I couldn't have a refund. I really need my money back. I work 1 days out of the week, so I'm pretty much struggling to finances my self.

On November [redacted] we called [redacted] and left a message on Voice...

mail then called back a [redacted] time and she was unavailable to speak at the moment. On November [redacted] we spoke to [redacted] but informed us that we must speak to his Wife [redacted]. On November [redacted] we got in contact with [redacted] and she wanted us to start the sessions on Saturdays but she was not sure at the time of the what week days she will be available. Since then we have started her sessions for her child [redacted].  I hope that shes satisfied.

Mr. Gary Kinsey of Young Mind Achievers is a scam artist. He contacted me in December 2017 claiming that he was given my contact information by my daughter's school as I had a expressed an interest in receiving tutoring services for my daughter. Mr. Gary Kinsey has an inside contact in the schools in zip code 10463 and that is how he is able to pray on unsuspecting parents who want academic help for their children. He came to my home describing the services that Young Mind Achievers offer and the various plans. He made me put down a $200 deposit through a personal check. He took down all my information, not telling me that he was signing me up for a $1900 loan with Equitable Acceptance. After that there was nothing but excuses as to why tutors were not showing up and why I was not receiving the service that I had paid for. Mr. Gary Kinsey has changed his number and email addresses several times. It has reached a point that the tutors from Young Mind Achievers are stating that they have also been duped in this scam. Next step of action is to file a report with the Attorney General and the District Attorneys Office.

I have contracted with this company to tutor my daughter in math. But their preset numbers of sessions was falling out of our remaining time in New York, since we had planned to move to Texas. The solution to this was, for us to pick a shorter session and to notify them when we will no longer use the program and will not have to pay for any unused sessions. We did that after 4 sessions out of 18. Unfortunately, we were still getting billed for and the money taken out of our bank account, since we had set an automatic payment. We have attempted several times to have them stop taking money out of our account, and no response. We stopped the payment at the bank and were contacted by a company that claimed to be a financing company (Equitable acceptance) beneficiary of the financial agreement and not involved with the tutoring agreement. This was strange to me because I was not told that there was a third party involved. It is only at that moment that I realized that this company (Young Mind Achievers) fraudulently made me enter into a financing agreement without disclosing all the facts to me. After that, I was able to finally get in touch with the sales representative - Gary, whom is also the owner – I’ve just learned that today December 6, 2017. He did not disclose that information either, at the time he came to my house to sale his product and made me sign the contract. After reaching out to him, he guaranteed that he will notify the financing company and stop any collection procedure against me. He also states that it will takes about 30 days for that to be completed. Soon after that conversation I was called by the financing company again and after learning the promise by Gary had advised me to have Gary just send them a note stating that the tutoring was canceled. I’ve sent an email to Gary regarding that instruction and called him. He promised to do so, but did not. A month later, I tried to follow up with him and he started another series of promise that were not fulfill. I did explained to him that this issue had significantly affected my credit score and I was disqualified from obtaining a mortgage. He promised to act immediately and solve the issue. It is not happening for the past 10 days. He is not responding to calls when contacted from our regular number, but pick up the phone when it is a different number, telling excuses as being at the Doctor’s office or out of town. I also contacted the school where we got his flyer from and learned that he was also reported by another parent and that they are no longer promoting his tutoring program. At this point, I still have to pay $1,580 to the financing company. I am making arrangement to make the payments and demanding a full refund from that tutoring company – Young Mind Achiever Inc. So Far, we have received a partial refund of $580 made to the financing company. They acted because we've filed a complaint through a Revdex.com.
They took advantage of us, because we had to pay $1,000 to the financing company in order to improve our credit score, since we were applying for the mortgage. That money still not reimbursed to us as of today 2.20.2018... It is not a good idea to do business with them

Review: Mr. G[redacted] Kinsey who didnt indetify himself as President of the company came to my home to offer a tutoring program. [redacted] stated he was just a sales rep. I received information through a questionaire I submitted to my daughters school. I agreed on a contract of 2x a week for a total of 24 sessions. [redacted] stated the next sessions started in January 2016. I did find that a little weird. In December called because I started researching more about the company, came across 3 other parents at my daughter school who did not receive services. Additionally when I contacted the school I was alerted not to do business with this company. I have not been the exception it is today Jan **, 2016 and I dont have any services however I do have a monetary obligation to pay $100. I have various email where I state im available 7 days a week and that I want name and date when the tutor will arrive. [redacted] also opened a new business called Young Mind Achievers were he signed me up. Of course this business being fairly new has no reviews or complaints.Desired Settlement: I want a full refund with interest paid.

Review: I entered into an agreement with Reading Solution to obtain tutorial services for my son. I was guaranteed a total of 60 sessions 4 days a week and an Early Elementary Software, which I have not received. To date, my son has engaged in one tutorial session, which took place on November **, 2015. The tutor has not returned since. I placed several calls and sent several emails and was informed that she resigned due to her unprofessionalism. This was conveyed to me three days later. Gary K[redacted] and his team Jennifer C[redacted] and Trevor has not been helpful through this process. They have not returned phone calls and also there has been a delay in replying to emails. To date, this company has not made any attempts to resolve this issue.

I have made two payments in the amount of $200; one on July **,2015 ( US Reading Solutions) and the other on November **,2015 (Young Mind Achievers) equaling a total of $400 for services I have yet to receive. Between this time I have received numerous phone calls from Equitable Acceptance (a third party loan company) stating that US Reading Solutions have already received payment. I refuse to continue to pay for services my son, is not receiving.Desired Settlement: I would like to terminate my contract with US Reading Solution. I also want a refund of $400.00 and the sum of 2,681.63 returned to Equitable Acceptance.

Review: I purchase a package deal of 24 tutoring sessions for my two young children for $1700.00 and my sessions has been inconsistent. I only received 12 sessions over a 4 month period, in which I was suppose to get two sessions a week. I already had two tutors for my children, and when I got in contact with both tutors they explained to me that they left because they were not getting paid from the company. I also went a whole month without a tutor. Then I called the company and their answering service answered and took a message. When a company representative called me back I explained to [redacted] whom said he is in charge right now because [redacted] is unavailable. That I need consistency for my kids. I explained to him that I will like a refund for the remaining of my sessions because my second tutor is no longer with them and I prefer to take my business else where. At this point the company refuses to return my phone calls and [redacted] sent me an email and told me that he will communicate with me through email only.Desired Settlement: I will like a cash refund of my remaining 10 sessions because I paid with a debit card which works just like cash.

Review: I put a down payment on the product in November of 2015 and called on Nov. [redacted] to cancel tutoring services for my eight year old son and request my refund. Since then I have been given the run around for my refund of $200 including I have to write an email (which I did), they will get back to me, and never did.
