depleted or the car was in a shop for repair and they disconnected the batteryIn a situation like this as I have explained to all my customers including Ms***, the only remedy is to drive the vehicle at a certain speed for about one or two hours for drive cycle to get completedThe reason for this condition is when the battery is disconnected, the computer in the car loses its RAM memory and by driving at a certain speed it relearns or completes these drive cyclesDepending on the manufacture there are about to criterias that must be completedThere is no loss of signal as Mr*** wrongfully mentions in her letterThis is a clear indication that Ms*** did not listen or did not understand or simply lies about the experience in this shop to advance her pointless viewBased on the advertisement, we charged her $ for smog test plus certificate of $ when the car passes and data transmission fee of $ to communicate to the state computer, which is clearly and verbally explained to the all customersUpon acceptance, we put forward a ticket to be filled by customer reflecting the prices and the job to be doneAs far as the refund, there are issues:The test has been done accurately and although the money is minimal, however for the matter of principle, I am not going to refund itIt is just like if you give your blood test to a laboratory, do you request your money back if the result is not as what you expectedCustomer satisfaction is another issue, where she came to the shop with an attitude and got a reactionpersonal thought that Mr*** has been the only one customer in the past years and among more than 11,that wanted to be difficult and fabricated the facts as she meant itThis shop holds a higher standard than this customer has shown and sincerely I apologize for any inconvenience, and hope in the future she would select another smog shop among currently available in the state.If you have any further questions or comments, please feel free to call me at (949) 525.1940.Best Regards,*** *** US Smog (949)

I am not satisfied with this resolution, as the shop owner has done nothing to resolve my complaintsI never argued that there was a problem with my vehicle, to this I agreeHowever, I am deeply dissatisfied with the way things were handled while I was in the shop, none of which were addressed in the owner's responseHe purports that I came into his shop with "an attitude", however he called me shortly after I left apologizing for his inappropriate behavior and asking me to come back, of which I have phone recordsFurthermore, this person clearly has had multiple Revdex.com complaints filed against him, in addition to numerous Yelp complaints, so it is in fact not at all true that he has not had a complaint in years. Therefore, I can only surmise that the owner is a dishonest and aggressive person who has no intention of conducting appropriate business practices. Quite frankly, the refund I requested is of trivial importanceI would much rather have received an appropriate response from the ownerHowever, since he clearly has no intention of correcting his inappropriate behavior, I would simply like my Revdex.com review to be made public.
