Marbella United Football Club aka US Soccer Academy, LLC is a soccer scam ran by *** aka ***. He collects names of players in the US off of rosters at high school tournaments and chases players down in parking lot's and promotes a soccer program in Spain. The program is a bait and switch. *** presented a video and a website and his telephone interview was inviting. He requires the money is wired to him to an address in Florida that does not belong to him, he wants to be paid in advance, so you can not get a refund with money wires. Once my son, 16, arrived in Marbella Spain he was stuffed in a room with 3 other players which was not how it was sold to us. The overview stated and ***'s telephone call that it would be 2 players per room, instead it was 4 in a very small room. The rooms only had 2 ACTUAL beds the rest were pullout chairs or futon. The video shows a luxury apartment, nutritious meals in a restaurant with all the players together. Instead your food is delivered to random apartments and the boy's have to walk 5 to 10 minutes to pick up food in plastic bowls that is not properly handled. The food was uncooked and the boy's had to eat on their beds. There was no space ina tiny room or a table for the players to eat. The practices went from 2 to 1 a day with only 4 games played in 2 months and there was no video exposure at any games to help any of the boy's for their future as promised. The boy's were always sick from raw food, Gastroenteritis was going around.The living conditions were terrible. the rooms were so hot that they could not sleep at night. Most rooms do not even have hot water. The living conditions, the games, the total environment is dangerous for children. This was a complete waste of money and a disaster of a program. Drinking and drugs is also a known problem with some of the older players because it is legal at 18 in Spain. This program was a bad experience and a huge loss of money by a man who lies and neglects children, verbally abusive too

Refund I would like my money back form *** since he did not fulfill his part of the contract. He had parents sign over minors and he was not even in Spain. He needs to be stopped before more children are put in a dangerous situation. My story has much more details and photos and texts to back up all of my complaints and facts about the program. ***, MUFC should not be able to collect US children and treat them poorly in another country where they are helpless. I need help to stop him
The women who has filed the complaint was blocked from the parents facebook private group. The Director of Finance at the University of Florida is in charge of the FB parent group. I have no choice but to file a civil suite against this person.

I want to congratulate and thank Darren Beale for the job he did for our players and program. He has an excellent opportunity at Hemel Hampstead Town FC as the Assistant Manager and Director of Academy. We will miss Darren because of his professional coaching ability, leadership, communication, and organizational skills. I do not underestimate the impact he had on our players, coaches, and program. Many of our past coaches have moved on to great professional coaching jobs at Manchester United academy and other top professional clubs in Africa and China. I am happy and proud of all of their career promotions.
Darren and I are both open for him returning next season. I selfishly would like to have Darren back next year.
New Coach: I am meeting a European professional coach when I return to Marbella. He has played and coached at a high professional level. He has excellent contacts with European clubs and can help arrange trials for deserving players. Like Darren, this coach has excellent leadership skills. Until he joins our program, James Miller will lead our program on and off the field.
Professional Academy Games: I am scheduling games with professional academy programs. The game against Atletico de Madrid will be in February (TBA). I am working with a friend who is scheduling games for our teams. We are speaking to professional academy teams in Spain.
Tours: Darren is organizing the April trip to England while I am coordinating games in Portugal. I will have more information in February.
For the time being, our players need to continue to regain their fitness and game level they had before leaving in December.
Housing and food service: I modified the management of housing in the Fall. I now have my attorneys handling these matters. All of the apartments are now open. However, one of our apartments is still under repair. As you'll recall, we had a pipe burst just before the holiday. As soon as the repair is complete, the water service will be turned back on, and that apartment will be ready for occupancy. Wifi is being re-established in the Marbella apartments.
The new coach will also live in Marbella. We will provide support and oversight for the players in the Marbella apartments. Brad and James will continue to live in the San Pedro pension and give guidance to the players in that building. One of the coaches will stay temporarily in Marbella until the new coach arrives.
Video Equipment: We will have the video equipment in time for the training sessions with the new coach and professional academy games.

I wanted to notify you of a possible breakout of hand, foot, mouth disease. We have four boys confirmed with the symptoms. We have notified the boys of the proper precautions to take to prevent spreading and catching this virus. The virus will clear up on its own in 3-10 days. There is no treatment for the virus other than managing the pain that the symptoms can cause to varying degrees. Symptoms are a red rash on palms of hands, souls of feet and around the mouth. Sores can also form inside of the mouth. Typical cold/flu like symptoms will appear a few days before the rash forms. If your boys complain of these symptoms to you, please advise them to notify a member of the staff immediately. We are keeping track of who has contracted it. We will also ensure the boys are looked after as they recover. Anyone wanting to bring their child home early may do so.
This is a common thing in group housing/dorm environments. This is not dangerous, but is uncomfortable for sure. Precautions include hand washing, sanitation of surfaces and avoiding direct contact with anyone who has it. Keep in mind, it will typically incubate for up to six days. So even if someone does not have the symptoms, contact should be avoided and belongings should not be shared. Slides should be worn in showers. Room cleanliness and sanitation checks are scheduled for tomorrow. Please let me know if you any questions or concerns.

Please refer to the attachment for the revised Affidavit of Consent for minors that was revised and translated into Spanish from Alejandra Cruz-Conde who is the owner of the language school and also is a successful business and corporate attorney in Spain. She revised some language and translated the document to make the process easier for you.
If you do not use a service please overnight the documents to your Secretary of State with a prepaid overnight express envelope in your package. You might want to check with your Secretary of State the best process to expatiate your document. This goes for criminal background checks as well.
This is the first year we have had student visa appointments in Spain. It is a great convenience for all of us. There are 8 Spanish consulates in the United States and they all have slightly different rules and policies. Unfortunately, the Malaga Foreign Office where we will have our visa appointments have different rules as well. Sometimes it can be confusing and frustrating but it is important to follow instructions to the detail. This procedure can be complete before departure.
Disney Showcase, December 27-30, 2019
We have been invited to the Disney College Showcase in late December. This is a optional trip with a extra expense. The purpose of going on this showcase is to invite college coaches to our games and watch our players live.
We have the opportunity to take our U19/18 and U16 age groups (14 to 16).
We will only take advantage of this opportunity if we have enough players to present our program in a professional manner.
The expenses are:
Airfare from your hometown December 26 to December 31.
Van rentals divided by the entire group
Motel Rooms divided by 4 players per room
Food per diem
Coaches expenses
US Club Soccer Registration - for minors that will not have a player pass *** Spain.
Tournament Registration
Estimated Cost without airfare is $800.00. The price is subject to change (less or more expensive). You will have to check your own airfare according to where you live.

To whom it may concern:
The complaint from *** is not correct.
At the start of the program we had issues with our apartments. We move the student to our student-athlete hostel where he had his own room. The student also had three healthy soccer nutrition meals per day.
The student-athlete was trying to get other players to smoke pot without success. His attitude was extremely negative. I tried to support talk with him and give him support. I thought we were making progress but players
told me he continued his negative behavior behind my back.
The mother (***) would call me with concerns. We always ended the call with positive solutions. In a matter of minutes she was communicating to other parents speaking negativity. The parents have a private
facebook page where they all share post. The parent leaders blocked her from the group because of negativity. In my opinion it seems she has some kind of emotional disorder.
I work very closely with parents in the program. Almost all of them are very positive. I am more than happy to give you contact information to back up my information.
