Dear Whom It May Concern:This letter is to respond to a complaint that you received about my business.I do not agree with a complaint's reasons to cancel the above agreement for the following reasons.First, a claimant and the U.STae Kwon Do College signed an agreement on March 17, that we
will be in three years with no cancellation agreement term as a contract is writtenBecause she signed three-year term agreement, a monthly fee is lower than those who sign lesser term.Secondly, a claimant's reasons contain inaccuracies and misleadingDespite what she said, all costs are laid up front, including belt test feeThus, argue where a claimant complained that I failed to reveal other related costsAlso, as a claimant stated, waived a belt testing fee in April and again in JuneIn June, I told her that I would waive belt testing fees up through *** testing for hersonHowever, what she failed to mention is that her Son did not show up on belt testing date in June, despite my earlier efforts to encourage him to attend and follow-upsAfter decided to waive a belt test fee for a claimant's son in April, I continued to treat him in same manner as before, taught him an importance to be on time and encouraged him to take the test which would enhance his self motivation and self-respectA claimant's son did not show up on a belt testing date on June 23rd despite of my reminders, a signage, and encouragementsI made follow up calls on June 26th and 28th consecutively, but only heard a pause on other line.The claimant's second complaint about no disclosure about in writing is not trueAs a business practice, after Memorial Day weekend in May, I posted a summer schedule in a month in advance in three different places and informed all participants about upcoming summer scheduleDuring the summer, there is only one class (from to 6pm) per day, versus two classes (from to 7pm) per dayWhen a claimant's son came into the class on June 7th, 19th and 21st, gently reminded him, just as to others in the class, about a change of the summer schedule and upcoming belt test dateI also encouraged him to be on time for bothHe neither showed up for a belt test nor for summer classes while others in the classroom didOn July 5th, after closed the school, Iran into him on hallway at about 6:30pmI reminded him again about the summer schedule and asked about his absence at previous belt test which he shruggedI have not seen him sinceAs addressed earlier, I called him couple more times afterwards, but there was no answer on the other line.For over years of running a business in a same location, I have never declined once for anyone to participate due to financial difficulties, nor have once encountered a person who argued about a belt testing fee until the day when a claimant rushed in and argued loudly with disrespectful and intolerable mannerAs a mentor and as a master, I've been serving and leading people with different ages and backgroundsI helped hundreds of youths in Alexandria-Springfield area over the years which I have earned as a reputable leader in the communityTherefore, a claimant's approach to damage my business and my reputation is neither acceptable nor agreeable as reasons to break the contract.Best regards,Chun * P***Master and Owner
