Good morning, this complaint has been resolved with the customer as of this morning, June 15, 2017.This customer regularly requests orders to be sent overnight and sometimes Saturday delivery through UPSIn the past we have a done a freight cap on orders based on the total merchandise and not
charged the entire freight cost. For overnight deliveries we have issued a freight charge of 40% of the total line itemsFor example, if the order is $100, we would charge the customer $in freight for an overnight deliveryFor overnight Saturday deliveries we have issued a freight charge of 60% of the total line itemsFor example, if the order is $100, we would charge $in freight.With regards to this order, the customer requested an overnight Saturday delivery via UPSThe total line items for the order was $We shipped the order on Friday June 9th to be delivered Saturday June 10thThe order was shipping from Grandview, MO to South CarolinaThe customer should have received a freight charge of $108.24, but instead they were charged the total shipping charge of $214.94.Between the line items and the freight charge, the customer was charged a total of $($for items and $for shipping)The customer should have been charged $($for items and $for shipping)We have issued the customer a credit of $for the difference in charges ($- $= $106.70).I have made the customer aware that going forward we will continue to cap the freight of their orders based on their shipping requirements, but as shipping costs continue to rise we may change our shipping structure in the future.Please feel free to contact if you have any additional questions
