Review: On 5-17-14 we won a 98 utility trailer on [redacted], which stated the trailer was located [redacted], Pa. We went to pick up and pay for it at Us Trucks and Parts. We were informed by Thomas W[redacted] (mngr) that the trailer was located in Fl. We paid for the trailer on 5-21-14 in Pa and told that the paper work & title was withs the trailer. We went to fl to pick it up and no paper work at all. We were given permission by Mr. W[redacted] to use his transferable plates and to move the trailer from fl to Ca where we live and the title would be overnighted to us as soon as he gets it, which would be any day now. He says that he had to change the title out of the owners name. This was back on 6-9-14. Also after taking possession of the trailer I noticed that the vin plate has been removed. According to Tom W[redacted] this was done because they had to clean it. But the pictures of the trailer show it on it and readable. On June 30th I sent a letter to his boss Hernan A[redacted] telling him of all the lies and excuses and that we still do not have a title. Tom sent a text back saying that by July 7th, I would either receive my title or my money. As of today neither have happen nor are they answering their phone, text or e-mails. I am worried that something illegal is happening since they removed the vin plate. While waiting I have done work on the trailer for nothing since according to to California DMV since it has never been registered in California it can not be done without a title. the trailer has a permeant fl license plateDesired Settlement: refund since they can not and have not produced a title. without the title the state of California DMV will not register it all. Without registration, I can not order a replacement vin plate from utility trailer, insure it or use it all. The California Highway Patrol can do a blue tag, but it is no good for the DMV or insurance Company. This trailer was purchased to be used on the highways not sit and be looked at. total due after payment and repairs $9,592.15
