I am rejecting this response because: We called the first time and my wife spoke to a man on the phone, she asked if they'd still had the vanHe responded yes we do, what would you like to know about it? She explained I was about an hour and a half away and that we were making sure it was there before I drove that far because I wanted to test drive it.he said it was there and to cme on in, once I arrived and could not find the van on the lot, I thought I was in the wrong place, and he was like no no, that van sold last weekI was like ummm my wife just called and you said it was here and to come test drive itThey then tried to sell me another van that had higher miles and cost $more.I left and went home, but while thinking about what they said, it didn't add up because how could the van sold last week when it had been posted four days ago? So I sent an email asking them If they still had the van, to see if they would lie again, and they didI sent the email on the night of the 15th, and she replied back the next morning because it is timed stamped.so the salesmen, two of them told my mom and I that the van was sold last weekOnce I confronted them via email, it was all of sudnly "sold" the day I came in? So why didn't the dealers tell me that? I'm sorry someone just bought it an hour ago right after I talked to your wife? No they didn't say that, they said oh that was sold last weekYou guys wasted my time and gas with lies

I am rejecting this response because: this is not what we were told when my mother and I arrived, we were told by two salesmen that the van was sold last week and they acted like we didn't callI said my wife called and you guys said it was here, nobody owned up to that and instead tried to sell us a different van and didn't care that we drove out to see a van that you don't have but said you didSo on the phone you guys say you have it, come in and when I get there nobody knows what I'm talking about but that van was sold last week?
then hours later I email you guys asking if you have the van, and I'm emailed the next morning saying yes come on down? You didn't even look or confirm if you had it before saying yes? So being told twice, yes you had it, ince on the phone and once over email was a mistake?
sure looks like a bait n switch to me, like I said, they didn't say ohh man you just missed that van someone just came and bought it, Nope they said last week

I had responded to the email yesterday 2/15/2016 but due to I was out of reception the email did not go thru till am of 2/16/2016. I did respond to the email after customer stated that he did come down to check van but it was not sold that since I was off I would call my supervisor and ask. We post...

the cars on craigslist but due to we are a dealership we removed/add on once a week.

The cars are sold unless they have a deposit to hold them. I understand someone did tell you that the van was in the lot when you called and drove down here, but the van was sold in that time frame. Regarding the email you received stating it was in lot, it was corrected that the person was not working on monday and after was corrected that it was sold.

Review: My wife called yesterday feb 15th 2016 and was told yes they still had it, so I drove down to see it yesterday feb, 15 th from Sonora with all the cash in my pocket and was told it was sold last week? But then I look and seen it was posted four days ago, so it would be impossible to have sold it last week.

I got home, noticed the ad was still up so I sent an anonymous email asking if they still had the van they were advertising. Next morning feb 16th I receive an email stating yes they still have it and to come in!!

On Monday night, February 15, 2016, after being told it was sold and still seeing them advertise the van I wrote:

Do you still have this van? I would like to come check it out.

On Tuesday february 16, 2016 they replied to my email

Yes we do still have it. We are open All week 10-7. If any questions your more questions welcome to contact us @ [redacted].

Thank you, [redacted]

This is false advertising, and I'm going to report them. What a huge waste of my time and gas, I drove a v8 two hours and forty minutes round trip to see something they do not have and they tried to sell me a different van, same year that was more expensive and had more miles.

After I confronted them, with the fact that I was the guy who came yesterday, they changed their story that it sold right before I arrived, yet the salesman told me it had sold last week when I came in on the 15th, then the next day on the 16th they tried to get me back into their car lot saying they had it, not knowing I was the guy who showed up yesterday, when they told me it sold it a week ago.

Here is a response, I received this morning feb 16th saying they still had the van, yet when we called on the 15th they said they had it, when I arrived, I was told sold last week. Next day they have it again?Desired Settlement: They are still advertising this van for sale via craigslist and on their website even tho they don't have it. They told us they still had it, come on in, I wasted almost three hours round trip of driving, cost me gas and time, and they didn't have it and they just tried to sell me a different van, the old bait n switch trick.

I want to be reimbursed for my time and gas for driving a v8 two hours and forty minutes of driving round trip to see a van they didn't have after being told they had it.
