USA Car Wash Reviews (1)

Review: We visited JMJ Car Wash on Sunday, February [redacted], 2014 for a much needed car wash. Once we got home, we noticed my son's goggles were missing. We did contact them and they advised they would call us back. They didn't. Today, February [redacted], 2014 my husband went back there once again to speak to a [redacted] regarding this. They wouldn't give us the [redacted] name, the [redacted] said he didn't care about "NO KIDS GOGGLES"..I called from my office and spoke to a rude woman, who claims she doesn't have a name!! Really? I have been a corporate employee for many, many years and have never had such bad customer service. We just want either the goggles back or some kind of apology. Things happen, they could have been thrown out in error, the employee not realizing this. We have been loyal customers for many years and never had any issues until now. I am also contacting the Department of Labor and Immigration as many of these employees are non documented.Desired Settlement: Either a monetary refund of $122.00 which is the price of the glasses or car washes free.

Response:

To whom it may concern:

In reference of this complaint, I have to say that it is very common that people in general, always blame the last location they've been when of a loss or missing any object not realizing that it could've happened just about anywhere, assuming that they're not lying. If you new the exact point of loss of an object, I'm sure you'd go back and get it, it would be very easy.

Possibilities are many and its just a matter of a quick and easy thought :"I had this, I had that, now the goggles, what could be next?"

Goggles probably never lost, just miss placed anywhere in the house, in the pool or beach when on vacation,etc...just examples, not excuses because it happens to everybody sometime in their lifetime.

The truth of the matter is that customer has no proof that goggles were in the car, our staff never saw them and customer never mentioned, nor show them to any of the crew members, and by us being asked for an apology or $122.00 as a monetary refund, I believe it is very unfair, wrong way to conduct business, because it would be the same thing as if we were admitting responsibility for something that we didn't do, something up in the air brought up by the customer without any proof whatsoever.

Something else that I want to bring up is that employees not necessarily have to give personal information, nor names of [redacted], it is a Corporation with [redacted] that they don't even know, there is a [redacted] running the business, and if he can't resolve the situation, there are business cards for the customers to take and proceed( I believe that the customer as a corporate employee for many years knows this).

Also, I don't know why a customer that was so pleased with our business in general, customer service, never had any problems for many years, all of sudden "the World falls down", the [redacted] and [redacted] are rude... sometimes we should understand that we are treated the same way we treat others, and with all due respect to the customer (almost always right), we are in business but we're also human beings.

To finalize the response to the complaint, I just want to say that it is very sad that, somebody could ever thought of an influence in "damaging" relationships, and families lives, like our employees, threatening them by contacting the Department of Labor and Immigration, wrongly assuming and doubting about their legal ability to work as well as their legal residential status in our country.

"Can't judge the book by it's cover", and what I mean is that for this customer information, our employees are all documented to legally stay and work in the United States of America, and we're pleased to have had a chance to employ them, regardless of their religion, color, race and/or culture.

Hopefully the customer will realize that we are and mean business.

Best regards,
