Good afternoon Ms [redacted] ***I received a letter from you in regards to a customer complaint submitted on 11/02/ID# [redacted] .Complainant contacted us twice but I was out of town and was not able to return his callUpon my return to San Diego and to my place of business and on his third call to my business (11/02/2016), I personally answered the call and advised the complainant to bring the "damaged garments" to the shop so I can see what his complaint was all aboutComplainant advised me that he will be in my shop in an hour but came in hours later.I spoke to my staff beforehand about the damaged garments to hear what they know about the aforementioned damaged garmentsMy staff informed me that they received the garments from the complainant in the same damaged condition with apparent chemical burn and noted my store manager about the conditionThey went ahead and proceeded dry cleaning, pressing and assembling the garment in preparation for the customer to pick up.Complainant showed up on my shop (11/02/2016) and I examined the mentioned garments, I noted the burn marks (burn marks are similar to cigarette burns and chemical burns) to some spots of the garment and took pictures of themI also noted fraying on bottom of pants due to age of garment and wear and tear.I explained our process and what type of solvents, detergents and spotting agents we use to the customer, and noted that we do not use toxic, corrosive chemicals in our plantI also presented my staff who identified the damage on the garments to him to tell/explain to the complainant in their own words what the condition of his garments upon receipt/drop off and pre-inspection prior to cleaning processHe called my staff liars and what have you.I told the complainant that I have heard both sides and there is nothing I can do to repair the garments so we will just settle the complaintI handed him a Customer's Claim For Loss Or Damage form for him to fill up and return to us with proof of purchase for the damaged garments, informed him of expected timeline for settlement and direction on who to send it toAs of now, I have not received any calls, emails or visit from the complainant.My business has been in existence for over yearsThis is the first time that a customer complained about burn marks on their garmentWe have not had a complaint from our customers about this type of damage to their garment because we use eco friendly, non toxic, non corrosive solvents, detergents and spotting agents in our plantWe also is a smoke free dry cleaning facility My staff are loyal, dedicated and proud of what we doI stand behind our workmanship and product.I also want to let you know that I respond to costumer complaints on a timely manner, treasure customers dearly and settle complaints with both parties satisfied.Sincerely, [redacted]

Review: On Jan 28th 2015 I inquired about having a large quantity of smoke damaged clothing cleaned. I was informed by the clerk [redacted], after she contacted her supervisor, that they could clean the majority of the clothing and other items. It has since been 5 weeks since I dropped off the clothing. I arrived at the store today 3-4-15 to pick up the clothes to find they had cleaned 5 pairs of shorts!! I have requested that they return the balance of the items which I am certain are ruined after sitting in bags for 5 weeks. I called periodically to check the status of the cleaning and was assured that the clothing would be completed today. This is absolutely pathetic.Desired Settlement: I want my clothing returned as soon as possible and my deposit of $150 refunded.
