I was getting flooring estimates from a number of local flooring companies I went to USA Flooring to pick up some samples They asked for my credit card, I thought so I could take the samples Imagine my surprise to open my credit card statement to learn that USA Flooring had put a charge of $on my card! I hadn't even finished getting estimates and hadn't even gotten a final estimate from USA Flooring before they went ahead and charged my credit card Needless to say, I called - cancelled my order after chewing them out quite thoroughly (BTW, they blamed ME for their screw up to boot!)

We had a terrible experience. We received both a product that looks bad (most likely installed wrong) and excuse after excuse for customer service. We had a terrible experience. We received both a product that looks bad (most likely installed wrong) and excuse after excuse for customer service. In mid-2015, we purchased a floor for our basement from the Raleigh location of USA Flooring. It is a LVT/luxury vinyl tile product. [redacted] was our sales person. The edges are buckled up and the floor is not flat. It is "rippled." In early/mid December 2015, I contacted the USA Flooring location to discuss the issue. When I called, I was assured that it would be taken care of and both USA Flooring and the manufacturer guarantee the product. However, it has been an extremely tiresome experience since that time. When I first called the store, we set up an appointment for the lead installer to come to our house and assess the situation. When the installers arrived, it was not the lead installer and the two men who came spoke no English. They were only at our house for 2-3 minutes and were not able to communicate with me. I waited a week to hear back from the store, but heard nothing. When I called back the second time, I spoke with [redacted]. We set up a second appointment for an installer to come out to assess the problem. This time, nobody showed up. The next day, I received a call and we set up yet another time for the installer to come out. This time, an installer came out. He agreed that the floor looks bad and this should not have occurred. He said that he would call [redacted] immediately and "[redacted] would call me." Again, I waited and did not hear anything. I called the store and spoke with [redacted]. The next time, two men were sent out to trim the edges off the floor, since they were worried that the floor may have been installed too tight and that was causing it to buckle. This remedy did not help the floor and again, I heard nothing back from the store. Each time that I speak with the store, I am told a series of excuses. Some of these have included, "most the staff at the other USA Flooring location quit last month and people have been busy" and "the fax must have gotten lost."About 5 weeks ago, an independent flooring investigation was sent to our house to assess the situation. He was very thorough. He explained that he was hired by the manufacturer, [redacted] He said that within 2-3 weeks, he would share his findings with [redacted] who would share with USA Flooring, who was then supposed to share the results with me.Last week, after 5 weeks of hearing nothing, I called the store and spoke with [redacted]. He said that the results were not back yet. He did say that he wanted to come and get a floor sample (the investigator already took several floor samples.) I then called [redacted] You can understand my surprise when they told me that USA Flooring has had the results for several weeks and should have shared them with me. [redacted] also shared that they requested USA Flooring to get the sample from me several weeks ago. When I asked [redacted] about this, he said that the fax might be lost somewhere and said that "[redacted] just told him to call about the sample." I was told that I would hear something by Monday (today). I have heard nothing and have reached my maximum frustration.I have been told that USA Flooring has the investigation results, yet they refuse to share them with me. I have a floor that looks terrible. And, each time I call, I am told useless and rambling excuses. At this point, I am asking for a full refund. USA Flooring can have the floor back.I am a very understanding person, but I now feel I am being taken advantage. Last week, I submitted my frustrations on a link via the USA Flooring website. I heard nothing back. I have also emailed the owner of USA Flooring. I hate to have to do this, but I have been patient for the past 4 months and received no help.Desired SettlementI am seeking a full refund from USA Flooring. I will give them the floor back.Business Response I responded last week. We are working with the manufacturer to resolve this issue. We have been in touch with this customer and hope to resolve in the near future.[redacted]PresidentUSA FlooringConsumer Response USA Flooring worked with the manufacturer to replace the floor, which we appreciate. USA Flooring installed the new floor last week. At this time, the floor looks good and we are pleased with the outcome. Thank you.

USA Flooring installed vinyl in our kitchen and the vinyl came up along the seam. They said they would fix it and have not.The vinyl started coming up within days of installation. I sent photos and [redacted] said the problem would be fixed. I first contacted USA about this problem July 13, 2015. "[redacted]" said it would be fixed. Since then I have called repeatedly. On March 02 I talked to "[redacted]" at USA Flooring who said he was ordering the vinyl and he would have it by the end of March. I called [redacted] again 2 weeks later and he said he had the vinyl and it would be installed by the end of March. Today is April 1, 2016, and the vinyl has not been installed.Desired SettlementI just want the vinyl fixed. It is sticking up along the seam. I am 68 years old and I had hip replacement surgery 6 weeks ago. I was very careful not to trip on the vinyl but I am afraid that someone may trip over the raised seam.More information received from the consumer.04/06/2016. USA Flooring sent a crew to repair the vinyl. The job was completed and my wife and I are completely satisfied with the results.
