USA Gasoline Store 63058 Reviews (5)

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I would never authorize anyone to take $from my account for a charge less than $for 3-days, that is just not correct about me saying $ I have a receipt for $46.48, and there was no need to charge my credit card anything other than the amount on my receipt My $has been put back into my account and the correct charge came through, they have places to slide a credit card to slide through, but they choose to make everyone go inside the store to get gas For those who want to fill up their car with gas has $come out of their account, I just believe the company should make sure their equipment works and that you could slide your credit card through and get gas I just think this is bad business and they can collect $from every customer for 3-days on any car that wants to fill up That distorts their financial records and inconveniences their customers I know that for unforeseen amount a business can put in a reasonable dollar amount not knowing the cost, but they knew the cost and I have a receipt which makes it inappropriate My solution to this is never to buy gas there again and to discourage anyone else to do so due to their business practices Regards, [redacted]

We have reviewed this complaint and reviewed the surveillance footage and found the following facts:
10pt;">Customer asks for a fill up. Attendant tells Customer that the pumps can not just be opened and that an exact amount is needed (unfortunately, due to credit card security reasons, this policy is being adopted by more and more gas stations). Customer says they do not know what the amount will be. Attendant tells customer that what ever amount is purchased but not pumped will be refunded automatically to the card. Customer clearly says they want $500. Attendant only charges $(attendant later stated that she felt $was a bit excessive so charged only $200). The preauthorized amount should have been refunded within to business days. If it has not been refunded yet, please contact the store to open an investigation with the credit card processor

I would never authorize anyone to take $500 from my account for a charge less than $50 for 3-4 days, that is just not correct about me saying $500.  I have a receipt for $46.48, and there was no need to charge my credit card anything other than the amount on my receipt.  My $200 has been put back into my account and the correct charge came through, they have places to slide a credit card to slide through, but they choose to make everyone go inside the store to get gas.  For those who want to fill up their car with gas has $200 come out of their account, I just believe the company should make sure their equipment works and that you could slide your credit card through and get gas.  I just think this is bad business and they can collect $200 from every customer for 3-4 days on any car that wants to fill up.  That distorts their financial records and inconveniences their customers.  I know that for unforeseen amount a business can put in a reasonable dollar amount not knowing the cost, but they knew the cost and I have a receipt which makes it inappropriate  My solution to this is never to buy gas there again and to discourage anyone else to do so due to their business practices.
