Bad customer Service
I went to the USA gas station in Ventura California 887 N. Ventura Ave. there was a rude employee this morning. I made an honest mistake and forgot to take my mask up to the window to pay for my gas. Told her I was in a rush and I apologize next time I would have it. There was a silence I went to my pump. Next thing I know she is telling me to come get my money and to leave the gas station. She was very rude with her tone. I expected her to refuse customer service before I even put the money down.

I recently went to get gas in Ventura ca, on 5/9/2019 at approximately 3:45 p.m. . The location is on Victoria avenue the man that I unfortunately dealt with was tall around 5'10 long wavy black hair slight beard in his mid thirties glasses and Caucasian. I had my 12 year old stepdaughter go to the window and pay 20 dollars on pump 13, he was on his cell phone and clearly didn't care that she was standing there. She waited for about a good minute he then put his cell phone to the side of his face and she stated he said what do you want. She told him 20 on pump 13 and came back to my dodge ram pickup 2017 the color is grey, the reason I'm adding so much info is because I am not a liar and am not fabricating any of this complaint. The gas pump was froze and would not pump gas I tried several times standing there to wait for any flow but got none. I asked my daughter to go to the window and ask the man to reset it, we only asked him one time. After about 2 more minutes of putting it back on the handle and trying it again the man came literally running out of the building which was only 10 yards away at the most he said in a very stern and loud voice is it fixed yet cause I'm tired of coming out here and I said it just fixed itself and you only came out here once to help me , he then stared at me for a second and seemed to get angry he stated I'm done here with this st and stormed away, as I was driving out he came out of the building as I was passing by and flipped me off and called me a fking bh and gave me 2 thumbs up then flipped me off again I did see some of the people looking at him doing this to me . I am very concerned about this mans blatant anger that he possesses at his work establishment . I feel that someone needs to go there and fire him for his extremely unprofessional manner in which he treats customers . I hope that this matter is looked into and I and my friends and family will no longer get gas while this man works there we have spent so much money on gas here and have never been treated so coldly and rudely by anyone else that works there.

Complaint:
I am rejecting this response because:
First, the case was closed by the Revdex.com on 2/7/Why was it re-opened?
Second, since the alleged facts submitted by *** **, “general
counsel” for Conico Company the said owners of USA gasoline located at State
Street and the freeway remain in question, why was the language of my
complaint altered by the Revdex.com?
Third, assuming this is a single, isolated incident and involves a
discrepancy of $30, why would an honest, legitimate, law abiding company need
to defend itself by acquiring and speaking through legal counsel?
Fourth, I am honest, have integrity and I speak the truth. I am not a litigious personI have never
filed a law suit, nor have I ever hired an attorney to defend me in a criminal
matter. I invite, encourage and welcome
Conico Corporation to pursue legal action against me and look forward to any evidence
being submitted for review. Furthermore,
I request that the Revdex.com contact dispatches and the Sheriff’s department to
determine how many other occasions the authorities had to respond to any
incident at this location
Fifth, I am a firm believer that time is the most precious gift I
have and I really dislike wasting it. This
is the first time I have filed a complaint with the Revdex.com and do so merely to
protect other innocent Americans from a similar travesty
Sixth, I would like to inquire if the Conico Human Resource
Department conducts criminal background checks on all its employees and do the the
store manager, area supervisor and the company’s general manager all have a
legal right to work in the US?
Lastly, why would a Sheriff advise me to avoid conducting business
with USA Gasoline in the future if no wrongdoing had occurred on the premises?

My fiance visited the USA gas station on van buren in riverside ca . after giving thirty dollars cash to the attendant named (carmen ) she then attempted to pump the gas she had paid for
Noticing the pump had stopped my fiance then returned the nozzle started her car and left only to find that her gas warning light indicated low fuel .
After returning to the station and approaching the attendant (carmen) was told that our gas was pumped ...ridiculous...

We got the attached letter from Revdex.com. It is unfortunate to hear that Ms. [redacted] has extra charges on her credit card and...

we will do our best to get this resolved. The store manager of this site, [redacted], tried to investigate this matter and has tried to call your office as well as Ms. [redacted] to get more information about getting the last 4 numbers of the credit card so we can search our  database for those charges - but was unsuccessful. As of this time, we cannot confirm if those charges were "actual charges" put on her credit card. There is a possibility that those were "pending charge" at the time Ms. [redacted] checked her bank statement and that those charges may have been gone by now.If the customer swipes the credit card at the pump, the system would reserve a maximum amount of $75 on the card for the transaction and would hold that amount until the customer finishes pumping gas. This notice is posted at the pump and has been the practice or procedure of most gas stations in the area. If the amount pumped was only $38, our system would charge only $38. It may take up to 3 days before we try to collect that amount. If the customer swipes the card twice at the pump for some reason (car tank being the wrong side of the dispenser, timed out transaction, etc.), then it may come out as two $75 pending transactions. This is just a hold and not actual charges.I would like to get that opportunity to take care of this myself and would ask Ms. [redacted] to give me a call. If our investigation would result as having her card  being charged twice, we would put that over-charged amount back to her credit card immediately.Thank you very much.

above referenced address. I write this in response to thc complaint submitted under Ref. No. 10412877. As best that we recall, the incident in question occurred at least a year ago.
After a thorough review of this incident with our store manager, area supervisor, and the company’s general manager, the following is our recollection of the facts and circumstances of the incident in question.
1. The customer and complainant came into our store and handed our cashier two $20 bills for gas.
2. The cashier authorized $40 for the pump requested by the customer.
3. The customer returned to speak to the cashier claiming she gave him a $50 and a $20 bills (total of $70).
4. Our cashier confirmed there was no $50 bill in the cash drawer.
5. After further discussion, the cashier called the store manager who was not there at the time. The store manager arrived and reviewed the store surveillance video and confirmed that the customer gave the cashier two $20 bills (total of $40).
6. The store manager invited the customer to review the video with hin. The customer declined the invitation, and called the police.
7. The police arrived and also viewed the video. The police confirmed there was nothing amiss with how we handled the transaction, and took no action.
8. After the incident, we reconciled the cash with the transactions processed, our cash balanced. We did not have a $30 overage, which would have been the case had we received $70 from the customer.
We take pride in the way we conduct our business. As such, we are greatly offended that the customer complainant would use disparaging words such as Corrupt “Total Con Artists & Thieves,” and “Scammers all based on her single transaction at our store. These words are libelous, and we may consider legal action should there be any publication of such comments.
We hope that this is the end of this matter. We will gladly cooperate with the Revdex.com in this investigation. Please feel free to contact me should you have any further questions or concerns.
Sincerely,

Product not delivered: On 10/24/14 I attempted to fill my vehicle at this merchant site and experienced a faulty pump (#7). The handle would not shut off when compressed. The pump finally shut off at 21.54 gallons for $70.20. My 07 Frontier holds 21.125 gallons (per the manual) and was 1/4 full both before and after this attempted fueling. I approached the attendant and was advised that she could not do anything and gave me a customer service number to call ([redacted]). I offered to pull to another pump and refuel the vehicle to prove no gas was delivered. The attendant repeated that she could do nothing. I went across the street and refueled my truck 14 minutes later. I received 14.738 gallons which is typical of a "1/4 tank fill". I called the customer service number above that same day and was advised that the issue would be given to the supervisor on Monday (10/27/14). I have not heard from the merchant as of 11/6/14. I have receipts for both the unsuccessful and successful refueling. I've used this merchant several times in the past without incident.Product_Or_Service: Gasoline: not deliveredDesired SettlementCredit my credit card for $70.20.Business Response Hello, First I would like to apologize for the inconvenience. we show a call placed for the dispenser to be checked on 10/24/14, and was fixed on 10/30/14 which resulted in the Dispenser getting a new nozzle. the dispenser was marked out of service during this time. The fastest way to get the money refunded to the card would be for the customer to call his bank and dispute the transaction. The money will be refunded to the card within 2 business days depending on the bank. Since the card was swiped outside, the refund cannot be provided at site level. Hope that helps. thanks, Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)I contacted my bank to dispute this transaction. My bank told me that since this was an outside transaction handled by the consumer, they would have to process it with their fraud group. I subsequently contacted the fraud group and was told they could file a complaint but that no resolution was likely (it wasn't fraud, it was faulty equipment). I'm glad USA Gasoline acknowledged a problem and I realize that my bank isn't helping to resolve the dispute (not impressed by my bank); but I still have no method to recover my $70.20.

Review: I gave the cashier/teller (who owns the fancy motorcycle parked out front) a $50 w/ a $20 bill on top & said "it might not take it all" to which he awkwardly replied "well see..." so when the pump automatically shut off at $40 I went back inside to investigate. He claimed that there wasn't a $50 bill in the till-only $20 blah blah blah & that he would have to check with the man in the surveillence office. I was extremely irritated after waiting entirely too long & called 911. The police do not service this station because it is outside of their jurisdiction, so the Sheriff arrived approximately 30 minutes after I called & shared w/ me that this wasn't the first time they had been called on this station & to avoid it in the future because there was NOTHING he could do. The whole time I was waiting for the Sheriff the teller/cashier asked the supposed "security" person in the surveillance room to analyze the "video" to reveal "the truth" about how much money I gave them. As it it takes 30+ minutes to either fast forward or rewind a dvd or recording device...yeah, right! So, not only did they steal $30 from me, they wasted a great deal of my time & all the while had smirks on their faces bc they knew there was absolutely NOTHING I could do about it. BEWARE of this CORRUPT organization that gives my fine city of Santa Barbara a bad name! TOTAL CON ARTISTS & THIEVES work here & Mr. [redacted] (the supposed manager) knows EXACTLY what scammers they are & offered to give me a few free car washes as if that would compensate me for my time, irritation & ripping me off. This company is known for being shady & I have no doubt that they will continue to steal from unsuspecting customers in the future given the chance!Desired Settlement: I want my $30 returned to me.

Review: I got charged $50 while never pumping gas. I have proof that I pumped somewhere else 15 minutes after I canceled my card with them since I could not get service outside the gas pump kept saying see teller.I disputed transaction through bank they contacted USA gasoline and they lied by saying everything was ok.They stole $50 from me on a product (gas) I never received.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund on my credit card for $50 since I never pumped gas at their station.I have proof of using a different gas station about 20 minutes after using my debit card!!!Thank you![redacted]

Review: An employee or business owner, it is unknown, is committing credit card fraud. I purchase gasoline on occasion from this location. American Express has special features that alert them, to alert the consumer against unauthorized charges. AE saved me from this unauthorized charge. I am preparing for my 2013 Tax Appt and notice two unauthorized charges on my VISA card. The first one, 2/22/2013 shows my gas purchase and a $75.00 unauthorized charge. The second, 3/08/2013 shows my gas purchase and a $75.00 unauthorized charge. Unforatunately, VISA does not have the same AE security features. I have contacted my VISA representative to protest the unauthorized charges. I can't be the only person that this location (USA Gasoline) has committed credit card fraud against.Your help with this matter is appreciated. If anything to alert other consumers and possibly the owner of this station. They may not be aware that it is occurring.Desired Settlement: I would like the two $75.00 ($150.00 total) transactions to be refunded or credited to my VISA card.

We got the attached letter from Revdex.com. It is unfortunate to hear that Ms. [redacted] has extra charges on her credit card and we will do our best to get this resolved.

Review: On Thursday September 26, 2013 I pulled into the USA Gas station at 4330 Orange Ave to pump #10 for gas. I put my debt card in the machine it asked for my zip code I entered it the screen went back to home screen and nothing happen. I put my card in again it asked for my zip-code the pump came on I proceeded with my purchase of $7.70. Later at home I went on line to check my acct and found that I had been double billed by USA Gas, one for the $7.70 purchase and another for $75.00. I went back to the station to see the manager and the teller told me that the Company always does this and it would fall off after 48 hrs. On Monday October 1, 2013 I went back to the station the teller called the manager and the manager told the teller she was out of town and for me to leave my number and she would call me the next day. Two days later on October 4, 2013 after receiving no call from the manager I went back to the station. The teller called the manager again this time the manager told the teller to tell me that it was not her problem because I used my card on the pump out side. I asked to speak to the manager so I could get the information I needed to resolve this but she refuse to talk to me. The manager displayed her unwillingness to help me resolve this issue. As of today October 5, 2013 USA Gas has a hold on the $75.00Desired Settlement: To have my $75.00 released back into my account.
