Review: This company was hired to replace all the windows in our home, rebuild a spare room closet, removing all old walls, (Which they just went over them, contract stated to be removed), install a new ceiling in the hallway, install a new attic drop down door, finish laying 3/inch plywood on the floor in the attic which was provided and already up there, install a new porch ceiling, install upstairs interior doors all with new trim, and last but not least, bend, wrap all outside wood replacing any rotted wood(Example: around windows, freeze boards, soffit and fascia)They did not replace the rotted wood, they went over itThe work was suppose to take about one week to complete, it took a month and a halfI was told they would be here at 9:am, during the whole time they were here, they NEVER made it by 9:amIn fact some days not till 3:pm in the afternoonThen they would work for a few hours, make a huge mess for us to clean up, then leaveIn the beginning things seemed to be going ok, then as time went by and they were getting yelled at by their boss, "JASON" because the job was taking so long, things were getting very sloppy and in a rushAlready we have had of the fascia boards come off that had to be put back onBut mostly not satisfied with the finish work on the interior doors and very poor workmanship with the outdoor wrappingThey had employee's doing wrapping that have NEVER done that type of work before and the end result shows itThe interior doors upstairs are not even flush to the walls, they have screws in a finished product and everything was suppose to be paint readyNOT EVEN CLOSE WAS IT!! I spoke to Jason who is the owner and also sent him pictures and he said he seen possibly one problem out of the many pictures I sent himThey are not willing to make it right in any formI have had differnet contractors here to give me an estimate of what it would cost to make it look professional, it exceeds $6,and they both have said they have NEVER seen such poor workmanshipThe closet that they rebuilt has since been ruined cannot place blame on them as the roof is in poor shape on the house which has caused a leak, so I am not seeking anything for that., but would like some knid of compensation for the interior doors and outside wrappingOne more thing I should point out, is that when they finished the job, I was told there would be someone out NEXT WEEK to get the paperwork signed so they could get their moneyI recieved not one, but calls withing the half hour after they left that he wanted to come that nightThere were many issues that we found wrong so we did not want to pay in full as yetBut we were given a signed paper from him that they would come out and fix any issues that we foundTHEY DID NOT!! In fact fact after speaking to Jason on the phone and several e-mails, we were told we were on our ownWe pointed out to "Brad" that there was issues when he was here collecting the moneySo Brad called Jason and Jason told him to contact John, who was in charge of the worksite, and we could overhear John on the phoneIt WAS NOT pleasantJason told Brad to tell John that the work would need to be fixedJohn told Brad for him to tell Jason to [redacted] his -----! You have got to be kidding me! So at this point I see no resolution with them coming back out to fix the items, but would like to be refunded some of the money paid to them so I can rehire the work to be done rightOne more thing I would like to point out, is that when they sent a worker "Bobby" out to our home, he came alone to do the ceiling on the porchI asked him where his help was, he said they were all busy putting a new metal on the owners house (Jason's) and that he was alone today but they knew I would be here to help him.Desired Settlement: Refund in part to have the job done right

Response:
To whom it may concern; This statement is in response to complaint submitted by [redacted] id# [redacted]Our company was contracted in June to do replacement windows, some soffit and fascia and interior work and doorsWe had never at any point had contracted or verbally agreed to do "paint ready" work on interior moldings, doors, or drywall, **and [redacted] were well aware of that from our initial visit with them by our estimatorWith regard to the fact that in some areas the drywall was not removed per contract specifications, that was per **[redacted] request due to the fact that it was creating a considerable amount of drywall dust**[redacted] had asked our installation manager John if there was an easier way the job could be doneWe mutually agreed with **[redacted] we could fur out over the existing lathe and plaster and attach our new drywall to the furing stripsIn response to finish work on moldings and doors again we were never contracted to do any finish/paint ready work, that was the responsibility of the homeowner**[redacted] did in fact contact our company in July approximately year after the job had completed and his biggest gripe was the drywall damage of an interior closet where we installed new drywall in which he had blamed us at that time for not tearing out the old lath and plaster and once again I had reminded him things: 1) It was his request for us to fur out the closet and not tear out the old lathe and plaster2) That throughout the course of our soffit and fascia installation our installers discovered how poor of condition his roof was in, specifically above this closet areaDuring the phone call in July of **[redacted] did not want to hear about the roof above the closet leaking, he wanted our company free of charge to come and replace the drywall we already installed due to moisture damage that he was blaming our company for in not removing the lath and plaster when we had originally performed the jobIn closing, our company prides our self with a flawless history and track record with the Revdex.com as well as other organizations in the industry that we are charter members of**[redacted] never complained about any of this work until nearly a year after it was installed, **[redacted] was present nearly every day as the job was being installed, he manipulated and lied throughout the course of our installation to our installers to have additional but small work done going as far as telling the installers he was promised additional services by Tom our original estimatorWhy after almost a year **[redacted] complained about the workmanship of this project is beyond meIn over years experience and over customers we service per year our company has never dealt with a customer that is as deceptive as **[redacted], he has made several attempts now to "dupe" our company into additional work and/or moneyAs a principal of USA Home Improvement Solutions I would do nearly anything to satisfy any one of our customers with regard to "legitimate" service issuesIn this case I have thoroughly reviewed **[redacted] photos and concerns and would not agree to any form of a refundThis project was completed above and beyond contract specifications and industry standardsAt this point we feel **[redacted], (as he has in the past) is attempting to "shake us down" for additional work or moneyI will be more then happy to share any photos, contracts, etcwith the Revdex.com if any additional information is neededFeel free to contact me direct at ###-###-#### Monday thru Friday am to pmThank you for your timeSincerelyJason * S[redacted]

I am rejecting this
response because:
Everything he has
said in his statement is a lieI complained about the quality of work the very
day they "finished" the job,
that is why I got it in writing from their guy "Brad" who came out to
collect the money that there were many issues to be taken care and I did not
want ot pay them in full at that timeHe told me he would put it in writing,
which I still have the document, any concerns that I have and he assured me
that they would be taken careWHICH THEY HAVE NOT BEEN TAKEN CAREI never once told them it was "OK"
to leave the old sheetrock in the closet, in fact, when "Tom" the
salesman was here, I made I VERY clear I wanted it removed and it states that
right in the contractI also wanted any rotted boards outside on th fasia
removed and replaced, which also states that in the contractThere is a
foot section on the second level of the house where our bathroom / spare room
is outside which was completely rottedThey did not remove and replace the
rotted boards, they went over itGetting back to the inside, I stressed to
"Tom" the salesman, that this is to be paint readyIt was left far
from itI never wanted anything more from that that company then what I
contracted for and paid forIn fact, I asked Jason in one of our phone
conversation if he would be proud to show a potential new customers his work,
and he said" Sure after you finish it!!" I have all sorts of
pictures of before and after the job was doneAlso I have had different
contractors give me an estimate to make it look professional, and all they can
say it "looks like a high school kid did this work"I have agreed
the roof is in poor condition, that is why I am not seeking any restitution for
the closetBut the wrapping of the windows is very poor quality, and the finish
work in my hallway that they did was a jokeI am appauled that he called me a
liar, as I am notLike I said, I mentioned these concerns the very day they
"finished" the job to BradNOT A YEAR LATER AS HE STATEDI have
been in contact with them at least other occations to see what they were
going to do about itI sent him multiple pictures though e-mails of the work
that was done very poorly, and he stated that he "might see a problem with
one of them"One of them? Does he need glasses?? I am prepared to go public with this if need
be and let them and any potential customers see the sub-standard work they
providedAs again I have stated, I have many pictures, and paperwork to
support my claimsWhen they were doing the job, they left me and my wife in
such a mess after they removed all doors upstairs that we had to rent a motel
room for the night as the house was unliveableThey ran out of their white
finishing nails at the end of the job, so they went looking around on the
ground and found enough nails to finish the jobIF THERE IS ANYONE OUT THERE
THAT WOULD LIKE TO PERSONALLY COME LOOK AT THIS WORK, I WILL BE HAPPY TO SHOW
ANYONE, as I do not want their poor quality work to happen to any one elseThe
fact that Jason told Brad to tell John he needed to come back out to the
worksite and fix the issues and his response to Brad to tell his boss to,
"[redacted] HIS [redacted]", tells you the kind of people I am dealing withI
told Jason that if this could not be resolved, that we would be looking at
small claims court, and he told me , "to go for it"He was more
concerned about getting his roof put on his new house than he was concerned
about his customersThe job was suppose to take a week, it took a month and a
halfIn fact "Bobby" told me that due to the lenght of time the job
is taking, that he will not make as much money as first expectedHe had kids
here working that have never done this type of work before, (Steve & Josh)
and they keep saying they can't wait for this job to get done as they like doing
roofs betterOne more thing I would like to point out is, I told them they
would need to use stabilizers on their ladders to avoid breaking the
siding.....they did notAnd they brokea piece of siding that I cannot replace
as they do not sell this type of siding anymoreThe work provided shows
clearly, they were in a hurry to get the job doneThey NEVER showed up when
they said they were going to be here, if at all that dayI treated these
people like they were guests in my home buying all of them lunch many days,
providing them with drinks everydayAnd this is how they treat me in return
My job got put on hold due to the roof that was being put on Jason's house was
priority and most of his crew were thereI was also informed by one of his
staff, that the metal roof that was being installed on his home was put on
wrong and had to be completely ripped off and started overI never "manipulated"
anyone or tried to "shake them down" as Jason put itAll I wanted is what I
paid forNothing "free", just what I paid for

Response:
As I have written in other responses this company will not entertain any type of monetary reimbursement, this project was completed to contract specifications and performed to industry standardsThere is no language what so ever in our contract that specifies that this project was to be "paint ready", apparently **[redacted] has no idea what the definition of paint ready dry wall isFurthermore this company will not entertain once again "reviewing paperwork and the professional work" as our company has spent a significant amount of time on this projectWe feel it would only be for **[redacted] to continue the lies and "the he said, she said" as **[redacted] has done throughout the course of the Revdex.com complaintsOnce again if there is anything further we can do to help the Revdex.com further resolve this complaint please contact me direct ###-###-#### Monday thru Friday 8:to 4:00.SincerelyJason *S[redacted]General Manager

I am rejecting this response because:I am not sure how many times we have to write to each otherThis obviuously is going nowhereBut I will say this.......We are in the process of having a new roof put on as we speak, they took the gutters down and we found MORE surprises from their "QUALITY" workI don't beleive ANYBODY would find this type of work acceptableLet the pictures speak for themselvesTime to take it to the next level as Jason is not willing to make this rightUSA Home improvement sure did make the company I hired to do the roof dayThey can't stop laughing in disbelief that a company can do such POOR workWord of mouth goes a long wayThis could of ended here, but Jason does not wish to make things rightDespite having a signed paper from Brad, saying they would make all findings rightit is not worth the paper it was wrote onTime to take it to the next stepYour loss JasonAgainI also am willing to speak to anybody that wishes to contack me in regards to this matter including the mediaMy phone number is ###-###-####Give a call and I will be happy to show you around
