[redacted] As I mentioned in our response yesterday afternoon our company has further reviewed your project and has found that the job was grossly miss measured and under priced, however for the sake of customer satisfaction and our continued efforts in staying in good standards with the Revdex.com, we are willing to move forward at the price of $even though the company receives a financial loss We will honor the original contract agreed upon under the same terms and specifications that you and [redacted] had signed on April 14, If you are agreeable to this please contact me as soon as possible at ###-###-####

[A default letter is provided here which indicates your acceptance of the business's response If you wish, you may update it before sending it.] Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me Regards, [redacted]

To whom it may concern;
Id like to start by apologizing for the miss measurement by our estimator Corey. As I had explained to *** I have personally worked with Corey for nearly decades and it is extremely rare that Corey has ever miss measured when estimating for
our products and services to potential customers. In defense of Corey it is to my understanding that there was a small amount of snow on the roof at the time of Corey's initial measurement and pricing for this project. In addition to the weather possibly playing a factor in the miss measure I was told by my installation manager John that when he performed tech measure that the roof was extremely difficult to measure in certain areas because of visibility to certain cuts and roof lines. The increase in price of $would be performing this project literally at cost (labor/material only). As General Manager of the company I feel terrible this project was miss measured and under priced and I can assure you from a high volume remodel and repair company that performs in excess of 200+ projects per year there was no malicious or deceptive practices involved . I personally am going to do a "drive by" of the home and attempt to view over head images via *** Earth and/or a roofing software program that we have access to called *** *** and determine whether or not we will honor the price of $6022.00. I would like to keep the lines of communication open and speak direct to *** or *** within the next hours upon reviewing this project. If any questions should arise feel free to contact us direct at ###-###-####.

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this
response because:
Everything he has
said in his statement is a lieI complained about the quality of work the very
day they "finished" the job,
that is why I got it in writing from their guy "Brad" who came out to
collect the money that there were many issues to be taken care and I did not
want ot pay them in full at that timeHe told me he would put it in writing,
which I still have the document, any concerns that I have and he assured me
that they would be taken careWHICH THEY HAVE NOT BEEN TAKEN CARE. I never once told them it was "OK"
to leave the old sheetrock in the closet, in fact, when "Tom" the
salesman was here, I made I VERY clear I wanted it removed and it states that
right in the contractI also wanted any rotted boards outside on th fasia
removed and replaced, which also states that in the contractThere is a
foot section on the second level of the house where our bathroom / spare room
is outside which was completely rottedThey did not remove and replace the
rotted boards, they went over itGetting back to the inside, I stressed to
"Tom" the salesman, that this is to be paint readyIt was left far
from itI never wanted anything more from that that company then what I
contracted for and paid forIn fact, I asked Jason in one of our phone
conversation if he would be proud to show a potential new customers his work,
and he said" Sure after you finish it!!" I have all sorts of
pictures of before and after the job was doneAlso I have had different
contractors give me an estimate to make it look professional, and all they can
say it "looks like a high school kid did this work"I have agreed
the roof is in poor condition, that is why I am not seeking any restitution for
the closetBut the wrapping of the windows is very poor quality, and the finish
work in my hallway that they did was a jokeI am appauled that he called me a
liar, as I am notLike I said, I mentioned these concerns the very day they
"finished" the job to BradNOT A YEAR LATER AS HE STATEDI have
been in contact with them at least other occations to see what they were
going to do about itI sent him multiple pictures though e-mails of the work
that was done very poorly, and he stated that he "might see a problem with
one of them"One of them? Does he need glasses?? I am prepared to go public with this if need
be and let them and any potential customers see the sub-standard work they
providedAs again I have stated, I have many pictures, and paperwork to
support my claimsWhen they were doing the job, they left me and my wife in
such a mess after they removed all doors upstairs that we had to rent a motel
room for the night as the house was unliveableThey ran out of their white
finishing nails at the end of the job, so they went looking around on the
ground and found enough nails to finish the jobIF THERE IS ANYONE OUT THERE
THAT WOULD LIKE TO PERSONALLY COME LOOK AT THIS WORK, I WILL BE HAPPY TO SHOW
ANYONE, as I do not want their poor quality work to happen to any one elseThe
fact that Jason told Brad to tell John he needed to come back out to the
worksite and fix the issues and his response to Brad to tell his boss to,
"*** HIS ***", tells you the kind of people I am dealing withI
told Jason that if this could not be resolved, that we would be looking at
small claims court, and he told me , "to go for it"He was more
concerned about getting his roof put on his new house than he was concerned
about his customersThe job was suppose to take a week, it took a month and a
halfIn fact "Bobby" told me that due to the lenght of time the job
is taking, that he will not make as much money as first expectedHe had kids
here working that have never done this type of work before, (Steve & Josh)
and they keep saying they can't wait for this job to get done as they like doing
roofs betterOne more thing I would like to point out is, I told them they
would need to use stabilizers on their ladders to avoid breaking the
siding.....they did notAnd they brokea piece of siding that I cannot replace
as they do not sell this type of siding anymoreThe work provided shows
clearly, they were in a hurry to get the job doneThey NEVER showed up when
they said they were going to be here, if at all that dayI treated these
people like they were guests in my home buying all of them lunch many days,
providing them with drinks everydayAnd this is how they treat me in return
My job got put on hold due to the roof that was being put on Jason's house was
priority and most of his crew were thereI was also informed by one of his
staff, that the metal roof that was being installed on his home was put on
wrong and had to be completely ripped off and started overI never “manipulated”
anyone or tried to “shake them down” as Jason put itAll I wanted is what I
paid forNothing “free”, just what I paid for

Dear Revdex.com and **and *** ***,
I apologize for the delay in our response to this matter, as I was out of town. With regard to the concerns of the leak in the roof, **and *** *** share a roof line with an adjoining home and it is a
home that you would technically call " a double house". At the time that the *** roof was replaced by our company the home with the adjoining roof line was vacant and according to the *** was a bank foreclosure and unoccupied. We had made several attempts post original install to rectify a leak that appeared to be coming in around a chimney that is shared by both homesThe other side of this chimney is on the side not owned by Mrand *** ***After the second service call within about months post installation we made a decision as a company and at no charge to **and *** *** to reflash the entire chimney even the side of the chimney that was not owned by **and *** ***. This seemed to remedy the situation as the re-flashing of the entire chimney both sides were done in December of with no further mention of more leaking. Upon further request, **and *** *** contacted our office January and did not like the "daylight" coming in from the vented ridge cap in the peak of the roof that they had contracted for and paid for and is clearly in print on their signed contract, so once again at no cost to **and *** *** with their consent we sealed the vented ridge cap with a spray foam insulation to eliminate the daylight. Upon returning to seal the ridge cap and rectify yet another leak around the chimney, our installation manager had discovered that the flashing that we had previously installed around the chimney had been compromised by a bank contracted roofer that had apparently installed a roof on the adjoining foreclosed homeIt has been made very clear to the *** that the leaks had originated from the adjoining home in addition to that, we informed the *** that the new chimney flashing as well as our sealant on the metal roof to the adjoining home had been compromised by the bank hired contractor. Once again we have no problem administering another attempt to rectify the *** concern with their leaking issue, it is simply a phone call to our office toll free to schedule an appointment free of charge. Our phone number is ###-###-####.Sincerely

But I will say this.......We are in the process of having a new roof put on as we speak, they took the gutters down and we found MORE surprises from their "QUALITY" work. I don't beleive ANYBODY would find this type of work acceptable. Let the pictures speak for themselves. Time to take it to the next level as Jason is not willing to make this right. USA Home improvement sure did make the company I hired to do the roof day. They can't stop laughing in disbelief that a company can do such POOR work. Word of mouth goes a long way. This could of ended here, but Jason does not wish to make things right. Despite having a signed paper from Brad, saying they would make all findings right. it is not worth the paper it was wrote on. Time to take it to the next step. Your loss Jason. Again. I also am willing to speak to anybody that wishes to contack me in regards to this matter including the media. This problem will never be solved there is an answer for everything.  I don't understand why rain came in the vent area.. I did send pictures to another metal roofing company and they could not believe what my attic looked like.  My purpose in all of this is to let people know the workmanship of this company.  I can continue to go back and forth as long as needed to get this to the public

Again, as it pertains to the screen in one of [redacted]s windows.  Our windows are custom made from our manufacturer and they are perfectly square windows, [redacted]s opening that this particular window was installed in is out of square.  [redacted] was not charged to rebuild or re frame existing window openings therefore the screen is slightly out of square due to an out of square opening.  The soft lite manufacturers install manual is a guide line for an installer who has never installed a window or for an installer who would be re framing or building a new opening for new construction.  [redacted]s application was for a replacement/retro fit installation and our completed project was performed to industry standards.  Any additional information please feel free to contact us at [redacted].

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: the claim that several company employees looked at my window s in a bold fabrication as can be attested to by my friend that was present at the one visit to my home. the window screen on my bedroom window will not close since installation. it has to be taped shut to keep bugs out.how can anyone claim that this is a industry standard installation. I was not aware that the need of a licence was required. a new licensed estimate is forthcoming. bottom line. I was told there would be a walk through before the charge was made for the job. that was part of the agreement. every aspect of the job was unprofessional. there is a  friend that is witness to all of my allegations. the company new there were things wrong that is why no walk through was done. that is why the job was finished on a saturday and charged of the  monday of that next week. my bedroom screen still does not work. the windows are NOT installed according to the softlite windows printed instructions. that is the fact. the claim of industry standard installation is a cover story. the window installer after installing two windows wrong, stated he discovered a new way of installing the rest. if this was industry stand why the switch and yhe other windows are no better. all this was witnessed by my friend who I asked to come watch just so Cover Stories could be contested!
