I had hired them to put siding, a metal roof, fascia, and soffit on my home. I ended up spending somewhere around $32,000 in all. It took them months to get started and then they didn't finish until a month after the agreed upon time frame. When they came for the survey, the man running it took a look at everything that I didn't believe was done properly and other safety issues I had, like jagged aluminium coming off the railing which would cut anyone using the railing, and he agreed and aplogized for the issues. Citing the sub contractors were new to them and they had nothing but complaints from the two houses that they hired them to work on and that people would be out to repair faults. No one came out, and I called regularly. After roughly 6 months from when the work was finished the fascia came off the side of the house in a mild wind storm. I called them the next day to inform them and they once again said someone would be there and after complaining about it they sent John over to look at the damage who then took note of what needed to repaired and left. This was in April of 2019. I called roughly once every month and it wasn't until September when the supplies showed up on my porch. It wasn't until January 2020 that they came out to start making repairs. They just nailed a piece of soffit on the side of the house without repairing any of the underlaying issues that the intial subcontractors ignored while just nailing their pieces of soffit to the building. I feel like the company has completely decided to shove my issues under a rug as they already have gotten paid even though they acknowledged the faulty work and made promises to rectify the issues.

As of Monday 2/03/20 all issues were addressed and completed. We did a walk around with customer and they were satisfied.

we had several other contractors look at our metal roof that USA Home Improvement Solutions installed on our house and garage because the job that we got is horrible and we were told none of the work they did was correct and that it needs to be torn off and installed properly, that our roof will leak. They used dented materials and they had so much material left that was not used that we paid for.Nothing was installed properly They did not use any sealant or flashing and the fascia is overlapped backwards , wrinkled and wavy .Chimneys are not flashed properly and the vent pipe is also not right they didn't install the vapor barrier properly.they didn't install the foam end enclosures They didn't replace any warped or rotten wood. They left the job site a mess found cut metal and screws all over. Handful of screws found in driveway no where near the job.HORRIBLE JOB The job was not to be paid for until it was complete and the first time I called with our concerns and issues they put the payment through from the finance company on the very same day .The man from the complaint department was here and looked at it and basically told us that aesthetics means different things to different people and really why does it matter because it has a lifetime no leak warranty. They have been here several times and each time they just keep making mistake after mistake after mistake... how many times do I keep letting them come back to put more holes in my house and garage .We are very disappointed and it is a lot of money for something not to be right. This is our house and they don't seem to care. No pride in their work and it definitely shows

Upon completion of the project for ***, our customer service manager made contact with the customer to deliver warranty paperwork and complete our customer satisfaction survey. *** at that point had expressed concern with a few cosmetic issues regarding the project. Our customer service manager made an appointment with *** and one of the installers that was assigned to the installation of this project. Upon meeting with *** we had agreed that there were in fact a few items that needed to be rectified regarding ***’s cosmetic concerns on the job. The following week our installer returned to address the said concerns and *** was still dissatisfied with the adjustments that were made and requested that a different installer to be used in finishing these cosmetic concerns. We obliged by sending our installation manager to address these issues and upon our installation managers attempts to rectify ***’s concerns he added even more concerns regarding the project. We are feverishly attempting to make contact with *** once and for all to address and rectify the concerns and at this point Mr, Trimble has declined to allow us to rectify the issues. It has also come to our attention with *** being in the trades industry that the other contractors who have surveyed this project are "friends" or "peers" of *** and have furnished him with bad information regarding the integrity of this project. Again we do feel there are some cosmetic issues that need to be addressed but every time we attempted to address these issues the list of concerns on ***s part would get longer. At this point we feel that civil litigation is imminent due to the fact that *** is in breech of contract as *** has declined our ability to "touch Up" these minor issues. I strongly encourage *** to reach out to us so to avoid civil litigation on our part. If there is any additional questions, please feel free to contact me at , or have *** contact us please.

Complaint: ***

I am rejecting this response because: USA Home improvement solutions blatantly refuses to acknowledge our most important concerns. No purlins on any of the roofs. The vapor barrier installed vertically instead of horizontally. No flashing on any of the roofs or any of the chimneys. No ridge vent cut. They also covered our existing ridge vent on the house which no longer vents. Our issues and concerns have never changed and they will not acknowledge them. We have contacted them about our roofs leaking ...no response. to me this is NOT a cosmetic issue and now our dry wall and insulation is wet and damaged. We are currently waiting for estimates to replace our roofs, our dry wall and insulation as well. We have no trust or faith in them anymore. They know where we live and our work hours.

When we contracted with USA Home Improvement we had recently had our driveway paved. We stipulated in writing in the contract and verbally numerous times to everyone we spoke to at USA that no dumpsters or work trucks were to be placed on the driveway as it was still too soft for anything heavier than a passenger vehicle or light pickup truck. It was written into the contract and verbally agreed to by everyone at USA Home Improvement. The Friday night before work is supposed to begin I drive into my driveway and almost hit the dumpster that has been placed outside my garage door! I spent Friday night and Saturday morning making calls to USA Home Improvement which went unanswered. I finally called the dumpster company who told me it had been ordered about 2 weeks after we signed the contract. We were having a metal roof put over our existing roof, no tear off, no reason for a dumpster at all, let alone the contract stating "no dumpster." The dumpster co. came and got it that day as the owner said he didn't want it to do more damage to my driveway than it had already done. Everyone at USA Home Improvement was quite cavalier on Monday saying, "insurance will handle it." We were never given any insurance forms, any insurance contact info. We contacted the original driveway installer who gave us a price to fix the damage. We held back 20% of the payment to USA (approx. $4,000) to repair the damage their breach of contract had done to our property and stated everything in a letter we gave to their man, Brad, who picked up their payment check and who disavowed all responsibility for the damage and told us to "go after the dumpster company" because they are the ones who damaged our driveway. USA's Gen'l Manager, Jason, called me and threatened me with criminal prosecution for withholding the 20% and "if not criminal then civil." The entire experience has been a nightmare, save for Eric, the one employee of USA Home Improvements who has customer service skills and was raised right.

We had thought this was taken care of. Upon further investigation the tech that we had sent out to do this service did not have a high enough ladder to do the service. We apologize for this taking so long and this will be taken care of and fixed by September 1st.

On April 3, 2018, salesman, Jeff K, and my husband, ***, signed four Work Authorizations totaling $26,691.

During the weeks of May 28 and June 3, 2018, materials for the four projects arrived at my property. The total materials cost was $7,111.48.

On Monday, June 4, 2018, workers arrived at my property to begin the first project, removal of old siding a installation of new siding. By end of day on Tuesday, June 5 they had removed the old aluminum siding and taken it away. As the aluminum siding has substantial salvage value, I assume it has been or will be salvaged. The company therefore stands to benefit financially from the salvaging of the siding.

On Wednesday, June 6 the workers returned and began installing the new siding. When *** had an opportunity to review their work he noticed numerous defects in workmanship.

*** brought these construction defects to the attention of the project manager, John, on Thursday, June 6. That day John came to inspect and agreed with all ***’s observations and said the crew would not be returning. He told *** he would come to the house Saturday evening to discuss how the project was to proceed. *** later called John to report that he had discovered two ripped roof shingles and a dent in the mini split condenser unit caused by the work crew.

On Saturday, June 9, John arrived and conveyed the news that USA had decided not to fulfill its obligations under the Work Authorizations because “he (***) won’t find anything we do acceptable.” He said workers would be returning on Monday, June 11 to clean up and retrieve the materials unless we choose to purchase the materials instead. The home has been left un-sided by USA and exposed to the elements. No offer was made to restore the property to the condition in which they found it.

On Monday, June 11 workers cleaned up the debris on the property. The waste dumpster is still sitting on my property as of this writing.
