This is in response to a complaint from [redacted] *** On January 6, Ms [redacted] contacted USA Student Loans at 11:a.mrequesting information and assistance regarding student loan forgiveness to see if she qualified Upon speaking with [redacted] she informed me that she currently had a parent plus loan and was looking to see if we could help her get the loans forgiven I verified the necessary information and determined that I would be able to assist [redacted] and lower her payment down to a $payment on her loans and save her several thousands of dollarsI explained to [redacted] that her current loans with [redacted] would be paid in full within a 60-day window and she would receive a paid in full statement from [redacted] , as to which she has received as per our conversation She has since come to a conclusion that since the loans were paid and sent to a new service as to which are maintaining her payments on her account down to $per month that there is some conspiracy going on between myself and [redacted] This is patently absurd and would be offensive if not so ludicrous I am really shocked as to why she would make this type of accusation, I actually gave her a great deal based on the amount of the loans she had I offered her a reduced payment in the amount of $to resolve a debt that she was currently paying on around $per month on When we spoke she definitely understood that her loans would be removed from [redacted] and she would have a payment of $ per month from that point forward Logically anyone who can save money and have a $per month payment and also have their credit score improved from these services would normally be HAPPY! I offered the services to Ms [redacted] and she accepted the arrangements gladly and was very excited to be able to save money by not having any payments going out on her student loans We have done exactly what we explained to Ms [redacted] from start to finish and actually gave her a reduced payment plan to afford the services that were rendered I hope Ms [redacted] will eventually realize and enjoy the benefits of the program and reap the benefits of being able to save her monies and enjoy other things in life with her savings Best Regards! This is in response to [redacted] complaint As to [redacted] claim that he was informed we would lower his interest rate in less than one month, that claim is patently false [redacted] was however informed that we could consolidate his loans and lower his monthly payment and only the monthly payment, NOT HIS INTEREST RATE The only way [redacted] interest rate would be affected is because the interest rate on a consolidation loan is the weighted average of the interest rates on the loans being consolidated, rounded up to the nearest 1/of a percent That interest rate is fixed for life [redacted] was even provided the following example: "Suppose a student had just un-subsidized [redacted] loans originated on or after 7/1/ Those loans have a fixed interest rate of 6.8% When they are consolidated by themselves, the consolidation loan will have an interest rate of and 7/8ths of a percent, or 6.875% So the interest rate increases only slightly If the borrower has a mix of loans with different interest rates, the weighted average will be somewhere in between Example: if the borrower has $5,of perkins loans at 5.0% and $10,of unsubsidized [redacted] loans at 3.86%, the weighted average is 4.2% which is then rounded up to the nearest 1/8th of a percent, yielding a consolidation loan interest rate of 4.25% [redacted] was repeatedly told that if consolidating loans with different interest rates, the weighted average interest rate will always be in between The interest rate may be lower than the highest of [redacted] interest rates, but it is also higher than the lowest of [redacted] interest rates More importantly, the amount of interest [redacted] would pay over the life of his loans will be about the same All clients are walked through this process so they get a clear understanding of how their current interest rates are affected It is USA STUDENT LOAN policy to address that issue in the event the client requests or requires consolidation of underlying loans. As to [redacted] claim that work was promised to be completed in under a month, that is not only patently false, as the client is specifically told it could take between 30-days to complete the process and that's assuming the underlying loan servicers timely provide their LVC (loan verification certificates); the client has timely provided his or her most recently filed federal income tax return and current pay stubs as documentary evidence of his or her income Never in the history of USA STUDENT LOANS has work been promised by any representative to be completed within days.Lastly, it was [redacted] who cancelled the process not USA STUDENT LOANS as we would be happy to complete the work started on [redacted] behalf Had [redacted] read his Service Agreement, he would have been reminded how long the process actually takes and that it begins after he provides documentation of his financial status, i.e., tax return and paystubs, which were to this day never provided Notwithstanding the client's failure to even provide the minimum documents, USA STUDENT LOANS did attempt to consolidate him however he CANCELLED the process himself Once again, USA STUDENT LOANS would be happy to complete him, however, documentation must be provided or the Servicer will set him in the highest repayment plan available which would be to his detriment Here at USA STUDENT LOANS we try to help the borrower get the best financial outcome possible taking into consideration the amount of loans the client has, his or her annual income, the number of heads in the household that the borrower if financially responsible for, etc We remain committed to that standard and would still help this client in any way possible.Sincerely, [redacted]

I was " Told" personally by Mr.[redacted] that it was part of the [redacted] Student Loan Forgiveness program!!! That term was in fact used over and over again. I will now be starting the process of contacting or hardworking, educated American that have been lied to and robbed by your company. I have 17 years of education, do you think that I would have Payed for my student loans to be placed in Deferment!! I could do that for free via Online or by calling. I promise you...Every person that you have taken money from Will be part of a [redacted]! This is a pyramid scheme at its finest. I even had a lady call me when I was having problems believing Mr. [redacted] and she again refereed to it as [redacted] Forgiveness.

I am rejecting this response because:

[redacted]

Dear Ladies, Ms [redacted] originally enrolled in january 2016 for loan forgiveness and assistance with her federal student loans.  We had trouble with the Social Security Administration who could not verify Ms. [redacted]'s identity, crucial to our ability to upload her loans and provide evidence...

we had the right person.  Thereafter we were unable to link to the Internal Revenue Service database and were required to submit Ms [redacted]'s tax return to the Department of Education.  When informed of these issues Ms. [redacted] became combative and uncooperative yet we continued to attempt to assist.  During the process, Ms. [redacted] contacted us to inform us she wished to cancel on or about 4/4/2016, after which she finally provided a copy of her tax return.  We continued to move her toward income driven repayment system loan forgiveness.  This despite Ms. [redacted]'s notices she wanted to cancel.  Her loans had already been submitted, she was well underway toward achieving her goal.  Then on 5/5/2016 Ms. [redacted] sends an email demand for status update. Imagine our surprise that we were now forced to scramble to update Ms. [redacted], this notwithstanding her 4/4/2016 contact which included a demand for her money back.  Ultimately, Ms. [redacted]'s loans were consolidated and she was qualified for a $0.00 month payment.  When Ms. [redacted] was not immediately responded to in May 2016 she filed this Complaint with the Revdex.com.  All work for Ms. [redacted] was completed and she is not entitled to a refund. Sincerely, [redacted]

payment, NOT HIS INTEREST RATE.  The only way [redacted] interest rate would be affected is because the interest rate on a consolidation loan is the weighted average of the interest rates on the loans being consolidated, rounded up to the nearest 1/8 of a percent.  That interest rate is fixed for life.  [redacted] was even provided the following example:  "Suppose a student had just un-subsidized [redacted] loans originated on or after 7/1/2006.  Those loans have a fixed interest rate of 6.8%.  When they are  consolidated by  themselves, the consolidation loan will have an interest rate of 6 and 7/8ths of a percent, or 6.875%.  So the interest rate increases only slightly.  If the borrower has a mix of loans with different interest rates, the weighted average will be somewhere in between.  Example:  if the borrower has $5,000 of perkins loans at 5.0% and $10,000 of unsubsidized [redacted] loans at 3.86%, the weighted average is 4.2% which is then rounded up to the nearest 1/8th of a percent, yielding a consolidation loan interest rate of 4.25%.  [redacted] was repeatedly told that if consolidating loans with different interest rates, the weighted average interest rate will always be in between.  The interest rate may be lower than the highest of [redacted] interest rates, but it is also higher than the lowest of [redacted] interest rates.  More importantly, the amount of interest [redacted] would pay over the life of his loans will be about the same.   All clients are walked through this process so they get a clear understanding of how their current interest rates are affected.  It is USA STUDENT LOAN policy to address that issue in the event the client requests or requires consolidation of underlying loans. As to [redacted] claim that work was promised to be completed in under a month, that is not only patently false, as the client is specifically told it could take between 30-90 days to complete the process and that's assuming the underlying loan servicers timely provide their LVC (loan verification certificates); the client has timely provided his or her most recently filed federal income tax return and 2 current pay stubs as documentary evidence of his or her income.  Never in the history of USA STUDENT LOANS has work been promised by any representative to be completed within 30 days.Lastly, it was [redacted] who cancelled the process not USA STUDENT LOANS as we would be happy to complete the work started on [redacted] behalf.   Had [redacted] read his Service Agreement, he would have been reminded how long the process actually takes and that it begins after he provides documentation of his financial status, i.e., tax return and paystubs, which were to this day never provided.  Notwithstanding the client's failure to even provide the minimum documents, USA STUDENT LOANS did attempt to consolidate him however he CANCELLED the process himself.  Once again, USA STUDENT LOANS would be happy to complete him, however, documentation must be provided or the Servicer will set him in the highest repayment plan available which would be to his detriment.  Here at USA STUDENT LOANS we try to help the borrower get the best financial outcome possible taking into consideration the amount of loans the client has, his or her annual income, the number of heads in the household that the borrower if financially responsible for, etc.  We remain committed to that standard and would still help this client in any way possible.Sincerely,[redacted]

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:  Mr. [redacted]'s information is NOT CORRECT.  The loan is active but deferred, NOT FORGIVEN.  It was deferred for 12 months. My first payment is due March 26, 2016 for $50.00.  The interest rate is 8%.  The daily accural rate is $.56 a day.  Also, Mr. [redacted] referred to multiple loans, this was also not true; it was only ONE loan for $2,500 - there was NO reason for a consolidation.  Again, I would like my $395 returned, plus my loan forgiven, as PROMISED or sent back to [redacted].Attached please find a copy of the email from [redacted] showing my payment deferred but still having an active loan.
Regards,
[redacted]

Dear Ladies, This is in response to a complaint filed by [redacted].  [redacted] was informed when he enrolled on 4/7/2016 that the process took between 60-90 days to complete.  His loans were enrolled and consolidated and he was qualified for a $0.00 monthly payment based upon...

his income, the amount of student loan debt he had and the number of heads in his household for which he was financially responsible.  His underlying loans have been fully consolidated and he is in a zero ($0) per month repayment plan.  All the work done on [redacted] behalf has been fully completed.  He electronically executed a contract between himself and USA Student Loans on April 7, 2016 and paid a down payment of $100.00 against a total of $695.00 for processing fees.  It was not until his second payment ran on 5/23/2016 that [redacted] contacted us to inform us that he had NO INTENTION OF PAYING his remaining payments.  USA Student Loans never represented to [redacted] that this company "sells" student loans as his complaint suggests.  The paperwork [redacted] was expected was transmitted to him directly from the federal loan servicing agency.  He knew to expect this as our "welcome letter" clearly states what he should expect following enrollment and that communication would be directly from the federal loan servicing agency. USA Student loan is not a vendor as [redacted] suggests either.  We believe [redacted] has buyer's remorse however he had ample opportunity to review the contract he electronically signed and returned to us which was the governing document allowing us to submit his underlying loans for consolidation and qualify him for repayment in the income driven repayment system.  He certainly is not complaining about a $0.00 per month payment notwithstanding that is what this company achieved for him and the work is complete. Inasmuch as [redacted] called to specifically inform us he did not intend to pay the sums he agreed to by contract and he has failed to do so, we will pursue whatever remedies are available to us under the laws of the State of Florida in order to protect this company.   Sincerely, [redacted]CEO

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: This company stated that if I paid the (1time fee) my student loans would be forgiven under the "[redacted] Student Loan Forgiveness Program." What they responded is an absolute "LIE",  for 1. I was contacted about making another payment by Mr. [redacted] and for 2. It was Never a "forgiveness program" they were charging me to do something that is Free...Deferred student loans payment. If you advertise what I am saying you will see many more people come forward about this company.

We have already stated our position with [redacted].  We have nothing further to say on this matter. Cordially, [redacted]

Dear Ladies,In response to [redacted] complaint, we state the following.  [redacted] entered into an agreement with USA Student Loans and electronically signed his contract on 8/31/2015, a copy of same is attached hereto and is hereby incorporated by reference.  [redacted] enrolled to...

obtain the lowest repayment plan possible on his federal student loan debt.  He was informed his processing fee would be $595.00 and based upon his representation as to his financial condition, USA Student Loans agreed to accept monthly payments of $119.00 commencing 9/2/2015 and continuing monthly through 1/15/2016 when the sum of $595.00 would be paid in full.  Customarily work commences immediately on consolidating the client's underlying loans and getting the client into an income driven repayment plan best suited to his or her financial needs.  Part of our process involves the client participating in obtaining and providing to us the FSA username and password so as to allow us to pull the loans on the National Student Loan Database, review them in comparison to the client's representations of his financial situation, i.e., adjusted gross income, marital status, number of dependents, total federal student loan debt.  [redacted], following execution of the contract, failed and refused to provide sufficient information from which we could set his FSA username and password, or failed and refused to provide the username and password he set up thus denying us the ability to pull his loans from the National Student Loan Database.  Despite this, we continued to make efforts to work with [redacted] to reduce his loan payments as we said we would.  If the client, however, refuses to assist us in this endeavor and actually puts up road blocks so as to divest us of the ability to perform under the terms of our contract, he is in breach of contract.[redacted] made a verbal agreement with us that he would cease his harassment and no longer besmirch the name of USA Student Loans if he was refunded his money.  Thereafter he called our office as many as 48 times using profanity, making threats against the staff and the company, etc.  [redacted] violated the agreement to discontinue his harassment.  [redacted] threatened to interrupt our ability to conduct business, tie up our phones indefinitely, etc.  He was relentless.  He has ceased engaging in that conduct, however, as of the date of this writing. The bottom line is, we were and are prepared to complete the work in [redacted] file despite what has previously transpired.  [redacted] breached the terms and conditions of his contract with us as and as a result thereof is not entitled to a refund.Sincerely,[redacted]

This is in response to a complaint from [redacted].  On January 6, 2015 Ms. [redacted] contacted USA Student Loans at 11:37 a.m. requesting information and assistance regarding student loan forgiveness to see if she qualified.  Upon speaking with [redacted] she informed me that she currently had a...

parent plus loan and was looking to see if we could help her get the loans forgiven.  I verified the necessary information and determined that I would be able to assist [redacted] and lower her payment down to a $0.00 payment on her loans and save her several thousands of dollars. I explained to [redacted] that her current loans with [redacted] would be paid in full within a 60-90 day window and she would receive a paid in full statement from [redacted], as to which she has received as per our conversation.  She has since come to a conclusion that since the loans were paid and sent to a new service as to which are maintaining her payments on her account down to $0.00 per month that there is some conspiracy going on between myself and [redacted].  This is patently absurd and would be offensive if not so ludicrous.    I am really shocked as to why she would make this type of accusation,  I actually gave her a great deal based on the amount of the loans she had.   I offered her a reduced payment in the amount of $395.00 to resolve a debt that she was currently paying on around $100.00 per month on.  When we spoke she definitely understood that her loans would be removed from [redacted] and she would have a payment of $0.00  per month from that point forward.  Logically anyone who can save money and have a $0.00 per month payment and also have their credit score improved from these services would normally be HAPPY!   I offered the services to Ms. [redacted] and she accepted the arrangements gladly and was very excited to be able to save money by not having any payments going out on her student loans.   We have done exactly what we explained to Ms. [redacted] from start to finish and actually gave her a reduced payment plan to afford the services that were rendered.  I hope Ms. [redacted] will eventually realize and enjoy the benefits of the program and reap the benefits of being able to save her monies and enjoy other things in life with her savings.   Best Regards! [redacted]USA STUDENT LOANS[redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: The response from the business is erroneous and full of lies. I obtained a copy of the so called agreement, not only is the signature on the document not mine, my name is not even spelled correctly. Until I obtained a copy of the document from my financial institution, I had never seen it before.I contend that the company continues a pattern of unfair and deceptive business practices. The so called Agreement is fraudulent and my multiple calls to the company were afterthe managers and staff continually hang up on you, instead of trying to resolve the matter. I also have an e-mail response from [redacted] stating that they stopped all activity with me and that the transaction had been cancelled. After receiving a legal opinion, it was best not to sign any type of agreement or settlement with this company and release any rights I may have. I have completed an "Affidavit of Forgery" in regards to the "Agreement"

 Complaint: 11124125
I am rejecting this response because: This is false, [redacted] from USA student loans is promising to help wipe out student loans for $595. If you look on their facebook page another person posted how she is being promised that after 90days her loan will be "gone forever as well. (See attached photo) The second and third photo is how I heard about what USA student loans was offering, through a facebook friend recommending it. Michael is telling people there is a new program Obama has offered to totally forgive student debt to unemployed people. I did not give USA student liana any additional information and cancelled right away when I discovered it was a scam. I am not looking for any reimbersment for the $100 they took from me because there is no way to prove what I was told. My only goal is to hope this happens to no one else. They are very deceiving and hide behind a legit company but taking advantage of people desperate to find any help to get out of student debt. It was my stupidity to sign a contract that did not include what I was promised. I was just very excited and overwhelmed with feelings of relief.

From: [redacted] Date: Wed, Mar 1, 2017 at 11:05 PMSubject: Re: Revdex.com Complaint-[redacted] - REPLY TO REBUTTALTo: [redacted] Dear Ladies,[redacted] was a client in December 2014.  We consolidated her underlying loans and qualified her for a $0 per month payment in the Income Driven System.  There has never been an "[redacted] Loan Forgiveness Program," and we certainly do not use that terminology in this office although we have frequently been asked about it.  There are only two recognized loan forgiveness programs, to wit:  [redacted] Loan Forgiveness and [redacted] Loan Forgiveness.  While [redacted] certainly qualified for loan forgiveness in the income driven system, upon completion of her consolidation and income driven repayment plan, all communication at the end of our work which concluded in March-April 2015, all communication was between her and the loan servicer servicing her direct consolidated loan (which loan paid off her underlying loans in consolidation). That servicer also provided advance notification to her when it was time to recertify.  She has never contacted this office for that purpose, not withstanding it is service we provide to clients and former clients, AT NO COST TO THE CLIENT, as a courtesy. We did exactly what we committed to do for Ms. [redacted] and have nothing more to add to this rebuttal.Thank you for your consideration in this matter.  We will have nothing further to add to future rebuttals as once again, our work with this client concluded over 2 years ago.[redacted]USA STUDENT LOANS[redacted]  [redacted]Emerg:  [redacted]Fax:  [redacted]

Dear Ladies,This is in response to [redacted] complaint.  We just spoke to [redacted] last evening to report that she is fully completed, her federal student loans consolidated and her monthly payment is now $0.00.  We were only able to do this by opening a portal for her with the...

federal servicing agency as all correspondence dropped to her paperless inbox has been mailed by that servicing agency direct to her.  So [redacted] had actual and constructive notice that our work with her federal student loans was completed. What concerned us was that while statusing her file with her on the phone only last evening, April  5, 2016, responding immediately to her call to our emergency number, was that [redacted] never mentioned she had simultaneously filed a frivolous complaint with the Revdex.com.  Her consolidation only completed on 3/30/2016 and the federal servicing agency sent mail directly to her so she had notice BEFORE WE DID that she was fully complete.  Further, she was also mailed a letter from Fedloan Servicing that she had a $0 monthly payment, her goal when she enrolled with USA Student Loans.  [redacted] failed to report the obstacles we encountered when she enrolled, i.e., locked FSAID, loans under a name we had not been provided upon her enrollment, unlocking her FSA only to have the client lock it again.  Notwithstanding these issues, we still managed to get her loans consolidated, her underlying servicers paid in full, and get her a $0.00 monthly payment.  We can't possibly do better than that.[redacted] had an emergency contact number to reach us however only deemed to use it last evening and was immediately responded to at that time.  Moreover, she has been "kept in the loop" via the federal loan servicing agency that ensured her underlying loans paid out and had knowledge before we even did that her file had completed.  Because we endeavor to keep clients in the loop whenever possible, it was USA Student Loans that arranged for the servicing agency to mail correspondence directly to [redacted] so that she was aware of the process while it was underway.[redacted] is not entitled to a refund and in fact has one payment remaining pursuant to the contract she entered into with USA Student Loans electronically signed on 11/4/2015.  We do wish [redacted] the very best in her future endeavors and are very pleased to have been able to assist her with her federal student loans.  She is required to recertify on an annual basis, a service we provide to our clients AT NO COST TO THE CLIENT - EVER!!!  She can still feel free to call us when its time to recertify in a year from now.Sincerely,[redacted]CEO
