We agree that this has been an ongoing issue. Given the freezing weather during the time of year, we did not have a choice except to vacuum and recharge the system. We have been in constant contact with the customer, and have replaced the coil under warranty. At this time, we are
going out every 7-days to make sure the unit is fully charged, and waiting for a break in the weather to do a full leak search. Depending on the outcome of the leak search, the unit will be repaired accordingly. We are in good standing communication with our customer and will get this resolved as soon as possible

Review: An [redacted] representative Ron G[redacted] sold me a new [redacted] air conditioning system, including what the contract said was a thermostat. When the system was installed I was instead given what [redacted] calls a controller that does not tell you the actual temperature in the room and is not backlit. You could not see the temperature setting in the room at night and I and others had difficulty reading it during the day. Even the [redacted] installers told me they hated that controller and that other customers had complained about it as well. When I complained, the [redacted] representative told me I would have to pay an additional almost $300 for a real thermostat and became belligerent when I told him I had already paid for a real thermostat. He eventually agreed to install a real thermostat, but only if I paid $200. Since I needed the thermostat to properly operate the air conditioned, I paid it under protest.Desired Settlement: I think [redacted] should refund me the additional $200 I had to pay for the real thermostat I contracted with them to be installed in my house.
