Review: I have graduated college and I needed to pay back my student loans. So I investigated how to do that, or the best path to take. There was a link on facebook that said "the Obama Loan Forgiveness Act" so I clicked on that link because I was curious about that act. The link led me to USDC loan relief services. The article suggested that this act was directly involved with USDC. So I called USDC and I spoke to a woman/employee there who explained the Obama Act and how she was going to get me into the government program that was exclusive and would save me a lot of money in the long run and was specifically for people like me who are not making a lot of money yet and need low financial aide payments. The only catch was that there was a fee nearing 800$. The fee was to get into the program. I decided to pay the fee and it sounded like a good program. Then everything went downhill. When I spoke to the first employee initially she said that the fee could be refunded at any time. And again that I was being involved with the Obama act, I was also never told that I could do all this myself without having to pay a fee at all. I was led to believe by USDC employees that I had to pay this fee and be in this program to get loan forgiveness when that is not true.

Then I started paying 80$ every pay check to pay the fee. I'm currently working part time and this fee really made me start to struggle. I got behind on my electricity bill and was struggling to afford food. I decided I couldn't afford this program. USDC made me doubt their service. They started telling me they weren't connected to Obama Loan Forgiveness and that they were an Independent company which was not what they told me in the beginning. The whole time I paid my bills they said it was refundable. I was reminded constantly when I paid, it is refundable. When I asked for my 500$ back they said they wouldn't refund it even though no service has been provided to me. I feel deceived.Desired Settlement: I want the money I struggled to pay to USDC returned to me which is near 500$.

Review: I reached out to the company for assistance with consolidating my student loans around the middle of December, 2014. Upon making a service agreement with the company, I was informed that I had 3 -days to cancel the service agreement with a 100% money back guarantee and I attempted to call and speak with someone multiple times within that timeframe and was unable to get in touch with anyone. I also left a voice mail message requesting for someone to assist me with my account and to cancel the scheduled $50 payment, which was initially declined on 12/29/2014. I did not receive a call back within the 3 days allotted to cancel the service and thus was charged the $50 payment. I have received calls from representatives of the company in relations to my voice mail messages since then, and once I received these calls, I was informed that the service could not be cancelled over the phone and that I must send an email request to [email protected] in order to cancel my service. Upon completing this task, a representative from the processing department called me at work, (never gave authorization to be contacted at work), on 1/16/2015 and informed me that I am now outside of the 3-day timeframe to request a full refund and that my payment is now non-refundable. He also stated that the reason that I could not get in touch with anyone when I tried to call back and cancel the service back in December, is because of the holiday season; which is something that I feel is out of my control. (Especially when I attempt to call multiple times and every time I would call during that period between the middle and end of December, the phone line would ring once, then say all of our associates are currently assisting other customers, and to leave a voice mail to be called back.) I did attempt to resolve the issue in the allotted timeframe, but was unable to reach anyone and by the time I was able to communicate with someone regarding the issue, it was too late.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive: FULL REFUND OF $50.00 PAYMENT WITHDRAWN FROM MY CARD and the cancellation of my service agreement with USDC Loan Services without any penalty.

Review: Back in March 2014 I was contacted by them in regards to a student loan forgiveness program, We started the contract and they filed the application to have my student loans consolidated for a price of $500.00 (on my credit Card) Application fee. they did the contract & my loans were consolidated. Then in January 2015 I was contacted again saying that my application was going to expire and it needed to be reproccessed for another reproccessing fee of $310.00 ( charged to my debit Card). So I pd the money and was given a new loan servicer through Fed loans. When I got a change in my monthly bill that will be due in june I called to find why. They explained to me that my application had not been reproccessed at all. so I proceeded to contact USDC yesterday 5/19/2015 to find out that all of thier phone #'s and email have been disconnected. So then I procceded to contact student loans.gov to find about getting in touch with them and what had happened. The lady that I spoke with advised me that I had been scammed and should contact the Revdex.com because the loan consolidation application is absolutly free on student loans.gov and I should not have had to pay anyone for this service. I am very upset and am out $900.00, AS well as I have given them all My personal information. If they will fraud someone like this then they will also commit identidy theft as well.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of all the money that I have paid them $900.00 and they should be sanctioned for fraudulent services.
