*** *** purchased a vehicle from my dealership on 10/24/ I have enclosed a attachment showing the copy of the memo title dated 11/17/Our policy is to call the customer and let them the memo is in and they can stop by to pick it upBetween 10/24/and as of today *** has
been trying to get this vehicle purchase out of her name into another person nameThe reason is *** has told *** and *** that she has a deter block on her drivers licence and is not able to purchase platesIt's my understanding that when there is a deter block there must have been in the past some type of violation in their past and it remains unpaidThe block makes her unable to purchase tagsShe also does not understand that this purchase was to her and we financed herWe are unwilling to finance a customer on a vehicle and then because of personal issues put the vehicle into someone we don't know and finance them. Any customer that comes into my dealership must have a valid drivers licence, proof of income, proof of residence, proof of insuranceIt is their responsibility to get their own licence plates after title and sales tax is paid by usMy question to *** is why in the world would she come here purchase a vehicle knowing that she had a deter block? Why would she think that she could after the fact expect us to transfer the title to someone she brings in here that we do not even know? Why would she call the *** *** office on 1/2/and complain about my dealership and not make the AG's office aware we have the title and that she is legally unable to get plates for her purchase because of a deter block on her record.
