Review: I made an online order with USMEDICAL STORE on 7/16/2013 at 8:47:50: pm for a SaftetySure Bed Pull Up Strap. The price was $32.95 + $12.95 Shipping, Total =$45.95. The USMEDICAL STORE withdrew $45.95 on 07/18/2013 from my bank account. I have called and emailed them several times to find out the status of my order. I get an answering machine when I call stating to leave a message. They have not responded to my email.Desired Settlement: I would a full refund of $45.95

Review: [redacted]Medical adhesive 3.2 (58.75 ml) can4 each per box $26.28I placed the above order on 3/31, basing my choice to use UniversalMedStore.com on the advertising description that I would receive "4 each per box". There was no indication that it meant it was not part of the order but an "option". At the time I made my decision to purchase the medical adhesive, I had the same item selected with [redacted] Medical.com, which included "free shipping" and the price was $23.00 per can. I asked [redacted] Medical if they could match the same offer that UniversalMedStore had. [redacted] Medical reviewed this website and told me that they could not match the order for "4 each per box". Therefore, I removed the Medical Adhesive from my order with [redacted] Medical (I left the other items ordered with them) and chose UniversalMedStore, realizing that I would be be paying $14.14 in shipping. When I received my order, it contained 1 can, not 4. When I called the company, they told me 4 cans per box was an "option" and they would not reimburse me for the shipping due to their misleading advertisement description.Desired Settlement: I am returning the item to get a full refund as that was my only option. I now have to reorder this product with [redacted] Medical AND pay for shipping. I will not do business with UniversalMedStore. I want UniversalMedStore to send me 1 can of the medical adhesive and ship it to me "entirely free" due to the inconvenience they caused me. I also want the Revdex.com to make this company remove the misleading item description to prevent others like myself from making the same error.

Review: First of all, the nature of my complaint could include several of the above options: failed to provide itemized billing, ongoing customer service issues, late delivery of product, and failed to honor commitment to provide refund.

I did not receive an emailed invoice or receipt after I ordered two items from their website on June 27. I called them for an invoice on June 28 and they said the website sometimes lags 24 hours. I emailed them on June 30 to say I still hadn't received an invoice, and I asked for a tracking number for my merchandise. No answer. I emailed them again on July 8 to ask where my invoice and order was. (I received one part of my order on July 9). Finally on July 10 I heard back and got an invoice, but no tracking number for the remaining item I had ordered two weeks prior. I asked them again for the tracking number and they said they would get back to me in a few minutes.

They did NOT get back to me as they said they would on July 10, so I emailed again on July 13, and again on July 16. I finally heard back on July 17 and they had no answer about where my missing item was. [The person who had been emailing me said she had a family emergency which is why I wasn't answered for a whole week, but as it was the generic company email and not her personal email I know several people could see my messages and chose not to respond to my inquiries.] On July 18 they said the item had not shipped due to inventory error. I asked on July 18 if they could expedite shipping since I had been waiting so long. No answer! On July 23 I emailed AGAIN to ask what was going on. They got back to me on July 24 and said it would be shipping on July 29, and they did expedite the shipping, however I still received my package more than a month after I ordered it.

I asked for them to refund what I paid for shipping ($12.41) and on August 2 they said I had been approved to be comped shipping and that I would be credited on Monday August 5. This has not happened.

Finally, I just have to say this whole business seems suspicious. The website is Universal Med Store (.com), but the email is Top Med Orders (@gmail.com), the name on their answering machine is Discount Medicals, and their official title is Intramed LLC. Four different names for one operation? You actually cannot find this business in the Revdex.com system if you search any of those four names. Maybe they planned it that way so people couldn't complain. The only way I was able to find them was using their phone number.Desired Settlement: They need to at least refund me for shipping, since they agreed to it. Since I received my item so long after my order date, and had to deal with a five-week back and forth saga in which I was always waiting to hear back from them and not getting answers, I would love to get more money back considering how time-consuming and frustrating it was.
