Ussher Construction

I really haven't a lot more to say about this company except they have a sheer disregard and show zero respect for their consumer, as well as their workmanship.Regardless of the work being completed, it took a SUPER long time, with no customer communication, & when I ever was communicated to, it was due to this Revdex.com report.  (that is a disgusting way to literally 'make' a company pay attention to a customer, in my humble opinion.)This job was a small residential 'half' roof with a small piece of gutter replacement.   NONE of this work was not already discussed in the original quoted estimate, so the statement that the company did work 'beyond what was discussed' is simply wrong.This jpb was contracted on approximately June 23, and way MORE than half ($3,423.11) was paid as a deposit to get materials to BEGIN WORK on the roof.  This check was cashed on  07/07/2017  DRAFT #[redacted] TRACER [redacted].  ( yes, back at the start of JULY )Between these dates and today I have had little but a multitude of problems with communication 'and' workmanship with this partial roof.Indeed now it completed, being two months later with still issues remaining.  I can not begin to list them, if the company wishes, I can provide;  PHOTOS, DATES, and the monitored problems (the materials and trash strewn throughout the neighborhood, piled in my walkway, nails, staples all throughout the property- these even as of last week I have been picking out of the rocks in my backyard).  I had many with customer service, billing also called to 'collect' the remaining balance BEFORE the completion of this roof.  ~ who does that?I am now into September.  (3 THREE months after the original work was contracted).  The gutter is not sealed, it doesn't lay flush with the siding, nor does the down drain have any seal which leaves it to pour onto the porch at the front window, not drain down to the side of the home.  As I look back, the multitude of issues that in combination with NO communication by the company as to 'why' this work was left in the storms (with roof removed, non tarped I might add) I cannot ever refer even an acquiantance no less a friend to utilize this company for any work.I am seriously unhappy and do not even want to have to call this company to fix anything ... I have had to do this on at least 3 occasions off the top of my head.So it seems this company "Ussher construction" has responded or corresponded to the Revdex.com complaint I issues a couple months back with regard to the customer keeping the remainder of the payment.  At this time I wish to do just that, if there is a leak, I want to be able to get it fixed! (by a reputable company).I am asking for a final receipt that this so called completed work is paid in full, referring to the notification to the Revdex.com that I keep the remaining balance.Thanks[redacted]

Review: Contacted [redacted] Sr. at Ussher Construction to perform a roof inspection and an estimate of cost for needed repair. [redacted] arrived at the property located at [redacted] on Oct.8 2014 without a ladder. He then used the hood of his truck to get on the tile portion of the roof. As he walked across the tile roof he broke several tiles. When he was finished he said he would replace the tiles he broke at no cost to us. He promised a written report and estimate that same evening or at the latest the next morning. As of today Oct 13,2014 he has not responded with the report or estimate. We paid him $40 for his services. This report was vitally important as we were buying the above referenced property and were within the 10 day inspection period. Now we are closing on this property as our other house has sold and we had no other options. So we are buying a house and don't know the status of a roof that is 24 years old and will have to pay out of our pocket for his breaking of good roof tiles.Desired Settlement: We are asking for the roof tiles he broke to be replaced with matching tiles and $500 because of the situation he put us in due to the time factor in our real estate contract that he was well aware of and that his report had to be writing. Due to the fact of not receiving his report the seller refused to give us a $500 roof allowance.
