[redacted]Attached is the invoice detailing the problem with UT Medicine's billing. You can see that the 10/21/14 bill to my insurance for $279 was lowered per contractual allowances but my insurance did not issue any payment, as they did for all other billing dates, which were billed correctly....
The reason for the billing error is simple, they did not include the provider ID for my doctor, [redacted] (who is part of my insurance's network), and instead incorrectly billed my insurance as the UT Health Science Center instead. Also, it looks like I spoke to someone named [redacted] in their billing department.
