We received this notice today with today's date as deadline of response so we have just emailed it thanks! [redacted] states that the came into salon on September... 11th and actually came in on December 11th. She called to request a perm and a haircut a week before and stated that she had actually just colored her hair and [redacted] agreed to book appointment because she stated it was a semi permanent color that she had used. She also asked while [redacted] was wrapping her hair if she could go home and re-color her hair. [redacted] told her that she would not recommend it for it would be to much stress on her hair. While taking the perm rods out [redacted] told [redacted] that she had bleached and dyed her hair the day prior so that it was ok if the color came out she would just re-color it. This should have been told to the stylist before the service. *** would not have not permed her hair if she have known this. The acid perm was used on [redacted] 's hair because the hair was chemically treated and dry as well as the client requesting more of a beach wave. Acid perms have a PH rating of between 4.5 and 7.0 with its main ingredient being glycerol monothioglycolate. Since hair has a pH of around 5.0 acid waves are less damaging to the hair, and typically do not produce as firm a curl as an alkaline wave. You will want to use acid waves for those individuals with very fine textured hair or those whose hair is damaged or has been processed with other harsh chemical services. Alkaline waves are made using an alkaline ingredient, generally ammonium thioglycolate. They are also usually between 9.0 and 9.6 in pH. These work best on hair that is coarse, thick or resistant to processing as well as “normal” virgin hair as they are much stronger when compared to Acid waves. She requested to leave with her hair wet and tied up because she said she was going home to re-color it and left the stylist a $20 tip so maybe the green hair is from where she re-colored it after being advised not to do so. As far as her claim that we didn't offer her services to resolve her issue that is simply untrue. After she called repeatedly in a 10 minute window screaming on the phone the conversation was ended by her telling me that she would check her schedule and let me know when she could return after telling me that she did not want me to touch her hair again. She agreed to come back into the salon after I reminded her that I did not in-fact touch her hair. [redacted] Salon 330 by [redacted]

Regards,[redacted]
While I did type in the wrong month of service, It was 12/11/1. I went there in good faith and paid for a service that ended up damaging my hair. I have spoken with [redacted], owner, and explained that her coworkers know my hair was turned green by services performed in her salon. Instead of denying it, I would have more respect if they would admit what was done wrong and help. It was wrong to let a client walk out of the salon with green and damaged hair  by no fault of mine and not say a word. [redacted] has agreed to try a treatment to see if she can restore the damage that was done. While I am thankful for that, I still am extremely angry over the lies that has been told to her by coworkers. My teenage daughter was with me and heard the conversations going on. Including [redacted] saying my hair was in great shape. It is wrong to blame the client and lie for bad services remedied by the salon. To say that my hair was fine when I left and turned it green by coloring it is disgusting. [redacted] knew that I saw some of the green. I asked her not to dry it because I wanted to put a semi permanent color on it to hide the green. And in fact, it was [redacted] that told me it would cover the green(that was only visible to me on the side of my head) without any problems.
Thank you,
