Review: I went into jiffy lube to get a oil change they recommended a oil flush due to being over my due for oil change they improperly did the work on the vehicle.damaging the vehicle they broke the charcoal canister and fixed that but did not fix the internal engine damage.do.to there store not following procedure months have gone by they have pawned me off on mighty.which they will not.fix.the issue they claim it's.not.there fault at this time.I don't have a running vehicle the engine is.completely.toast and they will not fix the.issue there store damaged my engine and they should.pay to have it repairedDesired Settlement: I want my engine repaired I want my.vehicle back up and running.I have a family that I need to take care of and a lot.of doctors appointments that I need to get to

I took my 2003 Monte Carlo SS, to Jiffy lube for a transmission oil change and a new filter, the proceedure was done I paid and left within two hours the car started to have shifting problems, studdering on shifts, it was too late to bring it back in so I brought it in the next morning and told them of the problem that had started, I aske dif they could have possibly put the wrong fluid in, I appologized for asking but I am a mechanic myself, they said no and checked the fluid level and told me to drive it more, I drove it the rest of the day actually only about 20 more miles it did not improve, so I took it back to Jiffy lube the next day, they said everything they did was correct and sent me to a transmission shop Trans Masters, they had the car for a day and a half and told me the transmission had to be taken out and apart to [redacted] the problem at the tune of 1200, I called Jiffy lube several times and waited for them to decide what if anything they were going to do about it, the district manager told me that they were not liable and would do no more, Trans masters told me that when they changed the fluid it disslodged particles that are now clogging the valve body and shift solonoids, and the only resolution was to take it out for inspection service, 1200 dollars, The district manager told me he would refund my money but would do no more I had no choice than to get the car from the transmission shop, I took it to Tanner transmission and was told the way they put the fluid in throught the cooler caused the blockage, Ive spent another 150, on a flush hoping to return the car to excellent driving condition with NO issues whatsoever as it was when I brought it to Jiffy lube, this flush did not work, and because of the way the transmission is it has to be removed for inspection service, Tanner is half the cost of Jiffy Lube's shop, I am now stuck with a car that shouldnt be driven no money, and no support from Jiffy Lube, this is the only car my wife and I have I work nights and go to school.
