I do not have anything stating the life time of the software. However, the software is what was purchased outright.

Review: We purchased a software system along with a cash register till and bar code scanner from uTouch POS. A month after installation, our bar code scanner broke and we called uTouchPOS to assist us with repairing the product. Our calls kept going to their voice mail, and no one returned our numerous messsages. As you can imagine, for a retail store, this made our business operations difficult, as we had to keep entering in the product information every time we processed a product.We also left many emails to the customer service department,but no reply. About 8 months later, which is the present time, our computer started slowing down and prompting us that there is very little space on the hard drive. We couldn't understand why, as we only have the software installed on the computer. Shortly after, we were unable to print any invoices or process them,because there was absolutley no space on the computer, due to us having to customize every product that was sold. We called them again, and finally someone returned our message. After explaining the problem, the technical support employee tried avoiding the situation and telling me that we are not using their software, and it must be someone else's. He rudely was raising his voice and talking over me when I was trying to explain to him the problem and trying to convince him that we have purchased the software from their company. Without resolving the problem, I hung up the phone. Thankfully, I knew a friend who worked at [redacted] and was on the phone with their technical support team, even though the computer was not purchased from there. He was able to figure out the problem and advised me to bring in the computer so that he can repair the problem. This is costing us over $300.After leaving an email to the customer support team about filing an official complaint against their company, someone emailed back very quickly and asked us for more information, without calling us, or trying to take care of the problem.Again, we haven't heard from them.Desired Settlement: I am left with a broken bar code scanner and a computer that needs to be worked on for over $300. Not to mention the difficulty we went through in processing invoices and the inability, still, to print out receipts. with all this frustration, we are looking to get our products fixed, as they should have 8 months ago. I would like for our company to be reimbursed for the amount that had to be paid on foxing the company's computer due to uTouchPOS' inability to help us through customer service.
