Hi [redacted] , UTR Property Management would like to dispute the complaint from [redacted] *** ID # [redacted] The reason being, [redacted] works during the night and sleeps during the dayTherefore, the upstairs unit is active during the day which is when [redacted] is trying to sleepWe gave [redacted] the option to move out or move into another unit without penalty but she refusesShe would like us to send violations to [redacted] *, which we do not feel is necessary We have spoke to [redacted] *She said that she believes it is her children and it should be quieter now that school has startedShe said they are trying to keep it down but its during the dayShe also said the walls are really thin, she can here unit A vacuum (which is downstairs opposite of them) and she can hear D "doing their business." I am rejecting this response because: The business had previously given the same excuses about my sleeping habits,how the walls were thin and that the upstairs tenants' children may be to blame and when school began the noise would die down Property management obviously didn't care to find out about their tenants; there aren't any small children making noise upstairs and their tenants were housing a dog(the cause of the disturbances)unbeknownst to them I was never given the option to move to another unit..The upstairs tenants have since gotten rid of the dog so there is no more noise disturbances

On March 28th, [redacted] provided her DL to view the property located at [redacted] and [redacted] On March 31st, [redacted] filled out an application online. prior to seeing the units it. She viewed the property in the first week of April and once she confirmed she would like to...

continue the application process which included paying the $40 application fee, we processed the fee and sent her the background and credit check and the email (and verbally informed Holly of) stating the supporting documents we needed to finish the application on April 6th at 10:52 AM. She completed the background and credit check at 4:06PM on Friday April 6th, 2018. The same day, April 6th, unit 214 was leased to another applicant who completed their application file. The following Tuesday, April 10th, another applicant interested in leasing unit 109 sent in all supporting documents and was approved for the unit on April 13th. We never received [redacted]s supporting documents - see e-mail attachment below. Supporting documents such as email - email below: Sent her email of the supporting documents we need on April 6th, 2018. Correspondence - no emails received from her. We sent her emails and informed her verbally of the documents we needed. Conclusion The documents we needed to approve her were never received and the units leased very quickly. We have previously waived application fees with tenants who were very participatory in the application process but may have lost out on an apartment due to other circumstances. We strive to communicate with our applicants to prevent wasting their money and often hold off running the background check until we hear back from the tenant expressively stating that they are interested in an apartment. Unfortunately, we cannot wait an indefinite amount to hold off the application process if the applicant is not providing supporting documents in a reasonable time frame. It is regrettable that there must have been some kind of misunderstanding as to the time sensitivity of providing all supporting documents. We understand her frustration if this has happened to her several times. The Austin rental market is extremely competitive and we advise her to provide her documents in a more expedient matter in the future.
