Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
Contained in the response from Utrecht is a statement alleging that my work was not protectedThis is not the case because I entered the store with my work adequately covered with a cardboard PortfolioFurthermore once art work is damaged, "repairing" it can never fully return it to its original state. I am prepared to reach out to the press by use of my celebrity as an artist if necessary to assist in resolution more to my likingI have both national and international recognition from the New York Times and many news entitiesThe value of my work therefore must coincide with the next resolution the Utrecht offers
In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above
Sincerely,

The complaint made by *** *** has been acknowledged as an unfortunate incident caused by a spilled a jar of *** medium that resulted in damage to his artworksThe damage, although minimal, is
a combined result of exposed artwork and open product at our storeIn this, we are willing to compensate *** *** with a $gift card for any necessary repairsWe strongly advise that artwork brought into our art supply stores is protected at all times, as many products can inadvertently find their way onto exposed surfaces, including unprotected artwork
Review: Hi my name is [redacted] and I am writing in reference to the property damage of 4 of my paintings / art pieces.
This occurred at [redacted]. I'm a [redacted] Graduate and fairly well known artist from my 2012 TV Spot with Sharpie US [redacted]. My paintings are listed with [redacted] and sale at the range of $2000-$6000.There has already been admittance to the damage by the company in that they stated that the [redacted] product was not placed in the proper location. I recieved a phone call by the company inquiring how the damage can be resolved and what the net worth of the damaged art works are.
At the time of the incident they openly admitted that a jar of [redacted] was placed in the wrong area which obstructed the path toward the register. The tip of my paper art portfolio unknowingly toppled the jar to the floor which splattered the product on to my portfolio and clothes. The product seeped into the portfolio causing damage to approximately four paintings inside.
Since the last phone call about three weeks ago, I have not heard back from the company since.
I can be reached at [redacted] or at ###-###-####
Regards,
[redacted]Desired Settlement: monetary compensation in terms of the market value of the damaged art pieces.
