My son went in to the office for dental work, the doctor was very rude by criticizing my son. The doctor told my son he needed fillings that did not need filling. (Confirmed by another dentist). My son did need a filling in another tooth and my son chose metal filling because they were cheaper. The dentist said, "is money that much of an issue? You can't afford the composit fillings". The dentist continually called my son, yeah dude. My son felt very degraded by this doctor that he chose to leave the appointment and seek care somewhere else. The dentist office sent me a bill for a cancelled appointment. Previously the Uxbridge Family Dentist office cancelled an appointment with my son due to weather conditions. They then sent him a missed appointment bill, they eventually reversed the charges. My son also had concerns about the cleanliness of the office.Desired SettlementI would like the [redacted] missed appointment bill reversed, as my son went to the appointment. We have spoken to Mr. [redacted], the complainant's son, on several occasions regarding his broken appointment charges in detail. We also reminded him of the notification of these policies that he signed. We have agreed to adjust a charge of [redacted] for the appointment that Mr. [redacted] had walked out of. The complainant is Mr. [redacted]'s mother and was not present at any appointments and since Mr. [redacted] is an adult we are not at liberty to discuss his account or case with her. Mr. [redacted] is welcome to call the office to review his account or to discuss his concerns, although we have explained on various occasions that this is the office policy. There were in total two appointments that Mr. [redacted] had cancelled without a 24 hour notice resulting in broken appointment fees. Since Mr. [redacted] is no longer a patient we will adjust the remaining balance to zero to close the account.Thank you.Uxbridge Family Dental
