We installed a concrete garage apron for Mr *** in August of We received an email from him in May of stating that there was some concrete flacking occurringThis happened due to chemicals on the roadway used in the winter due
to extreme conditions, major ice build up on roadways, it was actually published that the chemicals were causing damage to new driveways, their damage was not our faultWe (as a company with great service) agreed to replace the apron at no cost to the homeownerWe sent our crew out and replaced the apron and in the process of removing it a small area of his drive was damaged due to the pour condition of the driveway, it was only 1" thick!! We reluctantly agreed to repair the area that was damaged(knowing that it was bad before we even did the job) the cost for the repair was $
We offered to send Mr *** a check for the repairs and he now files a complaintWe will NOT be replacing his driveway which is in terrible shape and are very reluctant to pay him the $for the small area that was damagedI feel he is trying to take advantage of this situation and wants a free drivewayHe is asking for a refund on his apron??? and a new driveway???? Seriously!!!??

We did not know the deadline to review the complaint, I had been checking and did not see a date and when I checked today I saw the deadline had passed
I am not trying to take advantage of a situation as Metro Concrete is statingThe driveway is not is bad shape as they state and their crew knew what they did when it happenedMy son heard them saying "I told you not to put it there" and then the crew did tell my son they damaged the drivewayMetro Concrete sent a driveway company to my house, he left a number that I calledThe man told me he happened to be in the area when they called and that he comes through every couple of monthsHe described cutting an foot x foot part of the driveway out and replacing itThat would put a seam in my driveway, if that is the case then I would have to replace the whole driveway any wayI also did not hear back from him or Metro Concrete after thatI do not consider that good customer serviceI did not appreciate Metro Concrete stating that my driveway was in bad shape when they did not even look at itI am assuming this because when it did happen the crew acknowledged what they had done and it was ignored until we said something about it and filed a complaint

We went above and beyond to see to his needs and yes his driveway asphalt is only 1" thick in areas that we were unaware ofOur resolve was more than adequateHim having a "seam" in his driveway does NOT mean the whole driveway needs doneThe Whole driveway needs done cause it is such bad shape
