Aweful service department! I had to take my silverado back four times for transmission maintenance due to poor communication and lack of knowledge and experience in the shop. The shop manager did give me a full refund after the third visit. They overfilled the transmission after flushing it and didn't realize they were checking it improperly until I showed them how to check the fluid level using the owners manual. The shop manager apologized and said his lube tech didn't know what he was doing. They were checking the transmission cold and reading the dipstick in the (HOT) range. The mechanic at the dealership told me he would have to drain some out of the transmission drain pan. A few weeks later I noticed the transmission drain pan leaking fluid. I took my vehicle back assuming they would warranty their work but they refused to admit they took the transmission drain pan off because they failed to specify that in the original work order. Then they tried to charge me for diagnostic work for looking at the leak I told them about.
