V & R Design Cabinets

Review: I have continued to reach out to the company providing service V & R Design and Cabinets and they fail to return my calls. The owner [redacted] will only communicate via text, he has only returned one call out of a dozen. The owner continues to push the work back. All I have heard from the Owner are excuses on why he could not start on time. I have saved the whole string of texts, excuses, pleas and reasons on why he could not honor the signed contract. I have ceased to communicate with the owner as all the reasons that he says only get pushed off.

We singed a contract for the job to start on Wed. 3/11/2015 and it was not initiated until Monday 3/16/2015 after many texts. ALL my phone calls were never returned. The company V & R Design and Cabinets continues to fail to respond to phone calls for assistance and support. The delivery of the products was late and unreasonable. The company was quick to take and initial payment yet they continue to put off the start date. After initiating the work on the demolition, V & R Design and Cabinets has not returned to complete the work. We have kitchen that is not functional since they demoed on 3/16/15 and see no end in sight. I am going on day four and no work has been continued since the intial kitchen demolition.Desired Settlement: I only wish to get a full refund and my cabinet doors and drawers back. I will find another contractor to finish the job that was started.

Review: We signed a contract with VR Cabinets on 3/15/15 to install new cabinets in our laundry room. After 6 months, we have an incomplete laundry room and we have to hire another contractor to finish and to correct mistakes that were made. The quality of work is terrible, the lack of customer service is unbelievable. [redacted], the owner, would only talk via text and made countless promises to come and deliver on his contract. He sent people to our home that were completely unqualified. He sent cabinets that were the wrong size , doors that didn't fit, doors that were painted the wrong color, installed shelved in the wrong place and had to re-tile part of the floor because the dimension of the cabinets were wrong. We paid a large down payment so we kept trying to get some of what was promised. This is the worst experience I have ever had, or heard of, from a contractor.

We asked another contractor to give us an estimate to complete and correct the work. He said he's never seen anything so bad and much of the work can't be fixed without tearing cabinets out and starting over!Desired Settlement: I would like a refund or some compensation to pay for the work that has to be done to correct and complete. l

Review: In October 2010 we contracted with V&R Cabinets to remodel our entire kitchen. After many delays and set backs and poor product and service quality, the cabinets that were installed began to show major defects and flaws within the warranty period. Actually the defects showed within a month of installation and have continued to deteriorate since. We have contacted Ricardo the owner numerous times (plus 10) he inspected the cabinets himself and agreed it was defected and having the same issue with previous jobs, he agreed to replace or repair all the defects. After this meeting, he has failed to return and failed to fulfill many promises and dates. We have several voicemails and text messages claiming "to come and repair soon." We have given him a fair and very generous amount of time to remedy any issues. And now we are being taken advantaged of and ignored.Desired Settlement: A full refund for the cabinets or replacement of existing defective cabinets promptly.
