Review: Sent motorcycle engine (2001 YZ250 dirtbike engine) to [redacted] at TMX Racing on April 1, 2014 with a check for $650 with the promise that he would fix the engine for that amount and ship it back. He keeps giving me excuses as to why I haven't received my engine back yet, he states that he shipped it back on May 27th 2014. He will not give me the name of the company (just keeps calling it Freight forwarding)he shipped it with or a tracking #. He said that it was on a truck and would be at a [redacted] hub here in [redacted] on June 17th, 2014. When my mother contacted him on that day he claims the truck would be delayed for a day or so and that they (the truck that my engine was on) would contact my mother as to when it would be at the [redacted] hub. It is June 23rd and we still haven't heard from him nor the trucking company. I want my engine back ASAP and fixed right! And if not I want the money it will take to replace the engine and the $650 I sent for him to fix it. I feel he is giving us the run around because he should at least have a tracking # and/or paperwork from the company he shipped it with and if he truly shipped it May 27th I should have had it by now.Desired Settlement: I want the amount of what it would cost to buy a new engine/bike and the $650 I sent to him to fix the engine. Also any legal fees we may incur due to having to get a lawyer if that is the route we have to take.
