cleaning service every night after hours. None of our clients have never had an issue and all of them walk on the floor with clean barefoot to the manicure table.  Before my employee applied nail polish to complete her manicure service, she gave the customer the receipt to sign for $50.  The customer questioned why more money was charged and my employee explained to the customer asked for French tips on nails and toes which cost $10 more on top the service.  We have prices and brochure posted visibly in our s hop. She agreed and a $5 tip and signed the receipt. She made no complaint about her nails to my employee or any comments to management when she left. Two days later she came in demanded $10 over charge and her cuticle was not cut enough that she had to cut more of her own cuticle at home.

I explained the reason was that my employee can only cut the limit to avoid bleeding wounds and that the $10 charge extra is for French on nails and toes.  She harassed me enough to the point where I had to defuse the situation by giving her $1 0 cash so she wouldn't cause a scene in m y shop in front of customers. I asked her to write a note that she received $1 0 from me and would leave me alone.
I refuse to refund her money back for several reasons.

Our floor is cleaned every night by a cleaning service and no client has ever had an issue with our cleanliness. In addition, the State Board came in inspected our shop 5 days after this incident took place.  During the inspection she made a comment that we have a clean shop and issued a complete pass certificate. She acknowledged the charge of $55 and it was signed by her with $5 tip to my employee. She did not make any complaints to management when she left. As far I know if a customer gives a tip, it is because they are satisfied with the service.
Enclosed are proof of her receipt signed with a tips included for $55. There is also another copy attached stating that she had received the $10 in cash. We did not over charge as she stated and there is also a copy of a Certificate passed by the State Board Regulations.
Thank you for your time.

Everything in this response is an outright lie.  First of all Stacey was not even there that day, it was a male manager.  Second, when called the next day to complain about the horrible condition of my cuticles, (see attached photos) and that $50 was a lot of money for me, as full time student I was spoiling myself on spring break, it was SHE that pointed out that I paid too much and told me to come in and fix it. When I came in the gal that worked on my nails was not there that day.  I never asked for a french manicure and have never had one in my life.  I did not make any comment to any employee about the floors or the cleanliness.  Getting the floors cleaned regularly does not take away from the fact that dozens of bare foot clients are walking on a slippery floor with oily feet and God know what fungus's etc.  I can not believed she claimed it is I who harassed her, I calmly begged her to just resolve the situation so I could leave and never come back.  She made up excuse after excuse and would not let me leave until I agreed to write a note, I just wanted my money back that I was overcharged and to leave. That is not my signature on the note.
Sincerely,[redacted]
